The fact that neither of you want any part of this tells me everything I need to know about what you actually think of United.Funny how both of you had a lot to say until right now.
12/29/2015 5:00:43 PM
United always have something to say come May, so I'll take my chances. Thanks for the memeworthy post though Once again, are there 2 teams in North London?

betting is the new way to assert your ego! lol. Also no I don't gamble on anything but 5 quid accumulators. So really if you want to put $10 then I am in. If not, go gamble in Vegas. Might I also suggest:The fact that you are willing to put $500 on a result controlled by 22 men about 3500 miles away is hilariously stupid. Also PS: before you think this is a pissing contest between a spurs fan and united fans, I have only said I do not believe Spurs will finish 4th. That does not imply that United will, shit going off our last 8 matches we probably won't. I still don't believe Spurs have more talent than even Liverpool to leap frog them and that is a personal opinion, not shit talking spurs. If I really had to bet on someone finishing top 4 I would say:Arsenal, City, Leicester, Liverpool. [Edited on December 29, 2015 at 5:42 PM. Reason : a][Edited on December 29, 2015 at 5:46 PM. Had a dream I was playing for Spurs last night and scored past De Gea and LVG was fired on the spot. Not sure what any of that means except that I may have severe mental issues.Anyway, United should buy Kane and Poch in the January window. And pay Shaw money for Dele Alli. In all seriousness Poch should be wazzas wet dream. Good tactically, plays kids and isn't an asshole who is full of himself (SAF had two of those things at least).
12/31/2015 12:00:52 PM
Yet another football fan obsessed with Man United
12/31/2015 1:19:10 PM
and LVG is an asshole who doesn't play kids? I am glad the United board are backing the manager. Its better than knee jerk fans (myself included) calling for a managers head after a month of bad results. You look at the premier league this year and every team has had some terrible results, hell Arsenal for all their scintillating football and plaudits have 4 losses compared to our 5.I like our strategy. Have LVG finish out his contract and let Giggs take over. All LVG has to do this season now is finish top 4 and make a run in the FA Cup. It is disappointing from initial expectations but given the situation it wouldn't be bad. Also may I remind you the best viewing this weekend was found at Old Trafford. Almost every other match was extremely boring. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

When did I mention I was happy with the football played? In fact I have never seen us play more frustrating football but I can see what he is trying to do and what he is trying to implement. It isn't working and I have seen him make changes over the last few matches to get it there. If you watched the Swansea match we were playing some great football. Even against Chelsea we played some great football. That doesn't mean we give up on the system or the manager because he was disappointing in the month of December. That is exactly the kind of things Chelsea and City are made fun of for. I have mentioned this before but there is no winning here because we sack our manager and we are now just like the clubs we have differentiated from. We back our manager and get criticized for the football we play. So what do you want?To be fair to LVG he has had a few key injuries to deal with and now that these players are back I can see the improvement. At this point it isn't up for debate that the United squad needed rebuilding after Sir Alex left. Despite what your opinions are I think LVG has done a tremendous job overseeing that rebuilding, especially in regards to the back office and clearing out our massive wage bill and under performing older personnel. He has brought in leaders on the field and also bought some young talent that I believe will pay huge dividends in the future (Shaw, Martial, and Memphis). He has also given kids a chance, kids I also believe will be successful in the future (McNair, Perriera, Borthwich Jackson, and Varela). Gerrard's recent comments mentioned that he wished English clubs gave their star players more chances in management and career advancement. Well United is trying to do just that with Giggs. No one can know if it will work out till it happens but if we are truly a club that is more than just splashing big money and rotating managers then this is exactly what we need to do. I was angry at the end of December but its clear the players have not lost faith in LVG and that means a lot. I have already mentioned I was disappointed so far this season because there isn't a marked improvement from last year but the United board have a plan in place. If all we do is finish 4th and crash out of the FA cup it will certainly be a disappointing season but it is better than having Mourinho come in spend a lot of cash and then leave the club in turmoil in 2 years.[Edited on January 4, 2016 at 11:24 AM. Pep making it clear that he wants to come to the PL this morning. Down to City, United, and Chelsea I would presume. If Wenger retires I believe Arsenal would be everything Pep would want. City has been basically setting up their structure to lure Pep and it would be absolutely hilarious if he still chose Man United over them. Will be interesting to see what he decides. I don't believe City is as nailed on as everyone seems to believe. City have a terrible history of not supporting their manager and the PL will be the toughest challenge yet for Pep, even if he is basically handed the keys to a Ferrari with Man City.
1/5/2016 9:00:55 AM
Pep to City, Poch to United, Klopp to Arsenal (after Wenger wins a league and steps down) and Rafa back to Liverpool. Everyone is happy.

Klinsmann to Spurs
1/5/2016 11:46:03 AM
lol Pochetinno to United? hahahah. Would rather keep LVG. Honestly there is only one manager out there (who is also available) that I would want for United and that is Pep. Everyone else doesn't offer anything more than LVG and then Giggs taking over would.

Arsenal fans will crawl back into their little hole once Wenger retires and they can't even count on a 4th place trophy.I respect Arsenal but their fans are so god awful. I really do hope in a year where Wenger finally has a chance to beat out Man United, Chelsea, and City after a decade of mediocrity that they lose the title to Leicester of all teams. Would be comedy gold that. [Edited on January 7, 2016 at 12:06 PM. Reason : a]

I think Danny Welbeck might actually be dead.
1/8/2016 9:16:39 AM
^ Louis Van Gaal died for this. Its disappointing to see what happened to Welbeck. I expected what Martial has been doing for fun from Welbeck. Would have been every Man United fans wet dream if Welbeck played as well as Martial has been. Don't get us wrong, we absolutely love Martial but we just wish he was a Manc and not French. Surprised me a bit that Arsenal paid 16 million quid for him. Man United was always going to take that offer. Hope he does find his feet again in the second half of the season, the Euro spots are still up for grab.[Edited on January 8, 2016 at 10:04 AM. Reason : d]
