Playing it now on PC. It's good, but I would get it for last gen for 25 or PC for under 10 rather than xbox one for $60.

We should set up a TWW group library. I too want to play Tomb Raider and AC4, but have no use for them when I'm done. Gamefly is too much.

Is there any fix for the shuttering while watching TV? I have changed my cables, etc with the same outcome. It got so annoying that I just put them on separate HDMI slots.

even despite xbox one's shortcomings (let's face it.. there are quite a few especially in terms of navigation/UX) most of them are fixable on the firm/soft-ware side.

really i don't want anyone to be some clear "winner"... the stronger they all are, the better the competition and innovation to grab pieces of the pie.

my thoughts? nintendo should license its IPs to ms or sony (or both).. imagine the explosion. they'd make buttloads of money without flailing around in the console market.

just finished ryse. it was enjoyable but short and very simple. great visuals and voice acting. i don't think i would pay more than $35 for it.

absolute failure by M$ to not have adapters out to third parties -before- XB1 even launched.

of course the real failure and tragedy was not using a universal connection method.. proprietary ports that only exist on exactly one device suck. even the wireless turtle beaches are still going to require a wire to the controller.. which is all on its own.

anyone see this yet? i got a question - i got the turtle beach x12's that use rca cables for game audio. my tv doesnt have rca audio out, but my cable box does. will i get game audio through the cable box if i have it connected to the one and plug the headset into the cable box?

i hope i can reuse these and save some money, but i dont think i will be able to get game audio.

worst case you can get an RCA <-> optical converter.. run optical from the Xbox to the converter, RCA to your headset. i'm actually doing this right now with a $17 converter off amazon (doing this with my TB X12's, fwiw). it's some cheapo brand so i unplug it when i'm not playing so the house doesn't burn down, but it works a treat... just sucks because i can't chat or hear chat audio through the X12s... so yes, believe it or not... i play with two headsets on like a crazy person.

M$ sucks for making an adapter required and then selling it for $25.

ehh i might just have to buy a new headset for the one. plugging the x12 in the cable box, just gave me audio from the tv (should have figured). if i get a converter i would still have to get an optical cable. a legit converter and cable will probably be around $40, then have to get the adapter for $25.

the headset from microsoft actually looks nice, but i'll probably just wait to see what third party companies come out with.

You obviously can be killed with the smart pistol, but anyone who kills you with a smart pistol could have killed you easier with a different weapon. And if both players see each other the smart pistol is a huge disadvantage.

you have to be sneaky with the smart pistol, its not a run and gun weapon. the only advantage over being sneaky with the shotgun, is the range and lock-on, otherwise just be sneaky with the shotgun instead.

^^ & ^Yeah, but they can also lock on to you while cloaked. And people run around with it on more just as an early warning system so they don't have to look for you. But you're right, if you see them and you have any other gun, you're at an advantage.

Tried to play a bit of BF4 last night, since Titanfall is gone Got the pistol shortcut bundle, and then all my unlocks couldn't be equipped. The new guns were available, but none of the old sights or barrels, etc. So just played single player again (it previously lost all my progress) instead. I just hope all these issues are really DICE and not EA, as I'm looking forward to Titanfall.

3 months and there's already a x1 price drop. Fuck I got Dreamcast'd all over again.

Before you say there is a drop. $500 console no game no xbox live, 3 months ago. $500 console, titanfall, month xbox live. So I'm stuck with a console with limited hard drive, and 720p.
