give Vick another chance or put in Alex Smith?btw my team that i posted earlier in the thread put up a league high 143 pts week 1, even with Vick in there and Pit Def
9/12/2012 1:02:45 PM
^^Not that great. With Shenahanigans, can you ever really trust Alfred Morris enough to actually play him?
9/12/2012 2:56:59 PM
Benjarvus Green Ellis versus Cleveland (15.73 points projected by yahoo) or Frank Gore versus Detroit (8.98 points projected by yahoo)
9/12/2012 3:55:07 PM
I think that's definitely a toss-up, but I might give the edge to Green-Ellis since he's not in a potential time share situation.Stevie Johnson vs. KC or Danny Amendola vs. Washington?
9/12/2012 4:02:21 PM
^^^^ I'd stick with Vick.
9/12/2012 4:02:51 PM
Brown, Bowe, and Eli (for now). If you had a shakier starting QB it might be easier to throw RGIII in there now, but I would give it another week or two, Eli shouldn't cost you too many points against the Bucs.
9/12/2012 5:13:44 PM
PPR league, we start 2 RBs and a flex position. My RBs are:Fred JacksonMichael TurnerDarren SprolesDavid WilsonWould you guys drop DAvid Wilson for Rashard Mendenhall? $1 per pickup.
9/12/2012 6:06:04 PM
^I would defintely want to pick up someobyd for at least the next month. Are there any other decent RB options available to pick up?[Edited on September 12, 2012 at 7:03 PM. Reason : .]

Who do I go with at running back this week:BGE vs ClevelandDoug Martin v NYG
9/12/2012 8:29:23 PM

9/13/2012 8:40:35 AM
1 for flex position: alfred morris vs ramsmaclin vs baltimoresantonio holmes vs pittsburgh
9/13/2012 9:08:59 AM
^^ Wright^MorrisWould you do the trade listed ^^^ posts up?Calvin Johnson for Aj Green and Vinceny Jackson?
9/13/2012 9:17:20 AM
AJ Green is going to be a top receiver at some point but is he Megatron level, no. Vincent Jackson should be the #1 WR in Tampa at some point as well but right now, their offense isn't potent enough. I'd say no to the trade. Who are your other receivers?[Edited on September 13, 2012 at 9:20 AM. Reason : .]

One of the noobs in my office league dropped Denarius Moore, is he worth picking up?
9/13/2012 9:30:25 AM
depends on who you would need to drop for him, but I'm not super high on any of the Raider receiversPick my QB:Vick vs. BaltimoreFlacco @ PhillyThen pick my RB2 (if Ryan Mathews doesnt start):Deangelo vs NOMendenhall vs NYJDwyer vs. NYJyuck
9/13/2012 9:45:50 AM
I would go Flacco. He looked good on Monday and the Ravens defense looked scary as well. Vick, meanwhile, threw 4 ints. Of course...you'll probably go with Flacco and Vick will rebound like a mother fucker. What a shitty stable of running backs to pick from. Go with Dwyer I guess.
9/13/2012 9:52:29 AM
Why do you have two PIT RB's? As bad as DeAngelo was last week I'd still go with him over either one of the PIT RB's. And I just don't trust Mathews to stay healthy so I'd be afraid to start him even if he is cleared to play this week.
9/13/2012 9:54:05 AM
@DROD Flacco, but you already know that. Vick is going to get punished by Baltimore's defense. If Cleveland's D gave him trouble, Baltimore is going to be rough. Dwyer for your RB. I have zero faith in Carolina's running game right now after that first game.@akaseinfeldyou are set at WR, don't change a thing
9/13/2012 9:55:23 AM
Pick 2(1-point PPR):M. Colston @ CARA. Brown vs NYJR. Cobb vs. CHINormally I'd roll Colston and Brown, but if Jennings doesn't go then could mean more receptions for Cobb. But Brown should be on Cromartie most of the night with Wallace drawing Revis.
9/13/2012 10:06:11 AM
Yeah I like Cobb and Colston

Guy in my league wants to trade me Spiller or Ridley, and he's looking at Harvin from my side. I can work out the specifics with the players, but I just wanted to see what everyone's opinion of Spiller and Ridley are. I don't like Spiller because Jackson will come back in 3-6 weeks, and I don't know if I can trust Ridley to be a feature back because Belicheck hates feature backs (Hasn't had a top 10 back since Dillion in 04)Thoughts?
9/13/2012 10:57:37 AM
I like both actually. Not sure who else will get carries in NE (Vereen? Woodhead?) & the Cards matchup this week makes him a great play. Should get plenty of carries through the season, especially with NE's weak schedule.I'd say at worst Spiller will split carries with Jackson when he comes back, if at all. The timeline on him coming back isn't official, it could be longer than just the 4-6 weeks. With Spiller also getting catches, it makes him a lot more valuable in PPR leagues. Plus, he is an explosive player that can break for long runs/YAC. I'd take Spiller, then Ridley, but it's pretty close to me. In PPR, I think Spiller is a no brainer, but in standard leagues it might be closer to even.
9/13/2012 11:12:04 AM
Pick 2: any combination is OKOgletree, Cobb, Ashlon Jeffery, McGahee, Benson, Hayward-BeyRight now I'm in a league with formations, my team formations are 2 RB 2 WR 1 TE, 3 RB 1 WR 1 TE or 1 RB 3 WR 1 TEStuds that are definitely in are Ray Rice and Andre Johnson, my TE is GronkI'm thinking Dallas will stick with what works and at least try the Ogletree experiment out again and he'll get his chance, Jennings is looking like he'll play and GB's secondary sucks and will be focused on Marshall anyway so I'm leaning towards Ashlon Jeffery and Ogletree.Thoughts?
9/13/2012 12:34:37 PM
little help on filling my flex spot this week? either rashaad jennings, the number 2 guy for jacksonville, or james jones, WR for green bay.I think i'm going with jones, because another one of GB's starters is hurt.
9/13/2012 12:54:35 PM
Torrey Smith vs Eagles or Nate Washington vs Chargers?[Edited on September 13, 2012 at 1:59 PM. Reason : EDIT: or wildcard Cobb vs Bears with Jennings out.]
9/13/2012 1:58:27 PM
SmithWashington will have Britt back in the lineup.
9/13/2012 2:01:59 PM
Is this a fair trade in a PPR league?Jason Witten and Miles Austin for Desean Jackson and Greg Olsen?
9/13/2012 3:23:10 PM
Definitely fair, though I give to slight edge to whoever gets the Cowboys. Besides, only assholes veto any trade that isn't obvious collusion.
9/13/2012 3:49:18 PM
9/13/2012 4:54:02 PM
Totally spazzed out during one of my drafts, and didn't pay attention really during week 1 (honeymoon)....but I am looking at the following for the rest of the year:RB Ray RiceRB Green - EllisWR AJ GreenWR Torrey SmithI am not sure exactly if that is a good thing, especially since Green-Ellis and Green have 3 games against the steelers and Ravens left, and Rice and Smith have 4 games against the Bengals and Steelers. Should I try to unload either Green-Ellis, or Torrey Smith?
9/13/2012 4:58:33 PM
Move Green-Ellis, he has the lowest ceiling.I'm looking for Randall Cobb to ball out tonight. Playing him over Stevie Johnson. I'll probably regret it, but I'll regret it more if he does well and I don't play him. Besides, I always opt for the guy in TV games if its close.
9/13/2012 5:03:20 PM
^ I share a team with my wife's father, 10 team 2 QB, PPR. Winner of league gets share of pot, but another caveat is you pay each team in the league above you .10 for every point they scored more than you during the year....$1 per transactions, etc....first time ever doing a league like this. Scored 75 pts last week (Fred Jackson of course) easily 50 pts less than anyone else in the league. But Cobb was our waiver wire pick this week, and I am really hoping he comes up big.
9/13/2012 5:12:24 PM
I could never 'share' a team, I'm far too controlling, but especially not with my FIL. Good luck with that arrangement.
9/13/2012 5:15:54 PM
^Oh it is interesting, so far there really hasn't been an issue besides we just suck (never played in PPR, much less 2 QB one).
9/13/2012 5:20:13 PM
RB/WR spot: Jordy Nelson (v CHI), Hakeem Nicks (v TB), Antonio Brown (v NYJ)?I'm thinking Nelson since it sounds like Jennings won't play.
9/13/2012 5:47:22 PM
^ Would def go Nelson or Nicks, probably Nelson. Brown will have Revis shadowing him all day.
9/13/2012 5:48:14 PM
PPR league Brandon Lloyd or Jordy Nelson this week? also I have the chance to pick up Beanie Wells and drop Pierre Thomas as my bench, running back should I do it?
9/13/2012 6:03:29 PM
I too also have the chance to pick up beanie wells...is he worth it?[Edited on September 13, 2012 at 6:10 PM. Reason : ya]

9/13/2012 6:43:05 PM
^I'd probably go w/ Ogletree & Cobb, but agree that Jeffrey could be a nice play too. Would say Cobb is probably the top option of the trioCobb over Dwayne Bowe at flex? .5 PPR
9/13/2012 7:03:40 PM
I'll ask againJay Cutler v GB or Joe Flacco v Phily[Edited on September 13, 2012 at 7:07 PM. Reason : ^ I'd take Bowe]
9/13/2012 7:07:21 PM
Cutler, Final Answer.
9/13/2012 7:12:50 PM
9/13/2012 7:35:09 PM
Lloyd, he had the most targets of any NE WR/TE
9/13/2012 7:45:05 PM
Lloyd, but any league where both arent in someone's lineup every week reeks of Mong.
