alright Bush, 4th and 1, your time to shine and get me some points[Edited on September 12, 2011 at 10:09 PM. Reason : if you're even in the game right now][Edited on September 12, 2011 at 10:10 PM. Reason : you bunch of faggots]
9/12/2011 10:09:31 PM
lololol i was just down 13 points with Welker remaining
9/12/2011 10:11:56 PM
So my league has a really jacked up scoring system that give extra points to things like 40+ yd pass completions and TDs and big negatives for a pick 6. Thanks to that system, I lost by 10 pts when my opponent's QB Romo (342, 2 Tds, 1 Int, 1 fumble) outscored my QB Stafford (305 yds, 3 Tds, 1 pick 6 Int) by 20 pts. WTF? Oh well I'm sure they'll be weeks that the system helps me too.
9/12/2011 10:12:24 PM
well im down 19 now, thanks welker
9/12/2011 10:13:55 PM
And with that Welker TD I'll drop to 0-1 in all 3 of my leagues. Sweet.
9/12/2011 10:14:17 PM
haha same here fuckin 24 pt lead going into tonight, damn you wes welker![Edited on September 12, 2011 at 10:15 PM. Reason : spelling]
9/12/2011 10:15:34 PM
I think he just killed the ESPN fantasy website[Edited on September 12, 2011 at 10:16 PM. Reason : GIVE REGGIE BUSH THE BALL GOD DAMN IT][Edited on September 12, 2011 at 10:17 PM. Reason : thx]
9/12/2011 10:15:44 PM
lol am I the only one that benefited from that Welker BS
9/12/2011 10:16:37 PM
haha wasn't someone trying to make a point about cam newton by comparing him to Brady saying that Brady had never thrown for as many yards as he did? well Brady just passed the 500 yard mark- lol fuck
9/12/2011 10:17:48 PM
Yeah the stat was something like Brady has never thrown for 412 yard or whatever...he just passed that. By about 100 yards lol
9/12/2011 10:18:31 PM
alright Cam, time to step up and defend yourself, get me 600 yards against the Packers
9/12/2011 10:19:35 PM
haha. just needed one more grab from welker to narrowly win it. the fact that he took it for 99 yards and a td was a nice bonus
9/12/2011 10:20:16 PM
So a guy in my league who loves to chase last weeks points just dropped Jermichael Finley and Owen Daniels...I have Dallas Clark currently, whom I dont plan to drop, but obviously need to pick up another (especially considering the outlook for the Colts)...Is Finley definitely the better of the two?
9/12/2011 10:22:19 PM
^Yes...I'd go FinleyI'm in 3 leagues. Brady has 37 and 34 in 2 of the leagues and then 54.7 in the other. didn't realize the scoring was that qb friendly in my third league.[Edited on September 12, 2011 at 10:24 PM. Reason : ]
9/12/2011 10:23:02 PM
I think I have to play mccluster as a receiver. My receivers suck balls
9/12/2011 10:23:06 PM
I think Finley is getting closer to Gates status in fantasy terms, esp. with Rodgers throwing to himso IMO, Finley over Clark
9/12/2011 10:24:03 PM
finley, if he stays healthy, is a beast, and IMO the best TE in the league. The only thing that detracts from him is that he is on a team that has sooooo many targets. i'd grab him!
9/12/2011 10:36:22 PM
lololol, I won my week 1 matchup by .90 points. My opponent had Felix Jones.
9/12/2011 10:36:53 PM
better hope it stands before you gloat ... stat corrections can be a motherfucker
9/12/2011 10:38:24 PM
stat corrections cost me a trip to the championship last year.
9/12/2011 11:17:03 PM
Janikowski had a 63-yarder, that's good for 6.Reggie Bush scored 14 against a very good NE defense. I think I'll keep him over Tolbert.Tom Brady had 36 in my league.
9/13/2011 12:25:20 AM
ive never seen a league that gives any more than 5 pts for a 50+ yarder
9/13/2011 12:25:56 AM
^^ Keep Tolbert...wtfwhy drop him? he had 3 scores.
9/13/2011 12:27:05 AM
If you are in leagues where people are dropping Finley and Tolbert, don't even bother posting up here. The people in your leagues are stupid and rational advice does not apply. This thread is only needed for competitive leagues.

^TreeTwista10 was once in a fantasy baseball league with mongoloids. Mongoloids, dude.
9/13/2011 12:54:29 AM
*mongloids
9/13/2011 1:04:21 AM
^ Hope that's a joke.
9/13/2011 1:14:18 AM
I just offered a guy Sam Bradford and Ben Tate for Steve Smith of Carolina. he denied within 20 mins...I was hoping he would jump on Ben Tate since has Steve Smith on his bench...
9/13/2011 1:17:46 AM
thats a terrible offer.one with a messed up throwing hand the other prolly not starting next week and at BEST in a time share.
9/13/2011 1:27:09 AM
I hate when I have the 2nd most points in a league and still lose
9/13/2011 6:20:31 AM
At point do you guys start exploring trade options. I know it is only Week 2, but I am already 0-1, and this year has pretty much the same feel as last year (loved the team I drafted, but it seemed like I always played the weekly high scorer and ended up finishing 4th in my league), and I am projected to lose by 20 this week.My team is (12 team league 6 pts for pass TDs):QBBig BenJosh FreemanRBAdrian PetersonFrank GoreRyan MatthewsJonathan StewartWRHakeem NicksDesean JacksonDez BryantSteve Smith(car)Jordy NelsonTEJimmy GrahamKJanikowskiD/ST Chargers (leaning towards playing weekly matchups)Not meant to be a panic question, just spurring discussion.[Edited on September 13, 2011 at 7:48 AM. I think you're team looks incredibly solid for a 12 man league. You're lacking a stud QB, but with the rest of your starters, I think Big Ben & Josh Freeman will be solid.I always think it takes until about week 4 to figure out which WRs are worth a damn.[Edited on September 13, 2011 at 7:58 AM. Was pretty even with my opponent in my 16-team money league (up by 4 pts) prior to the Monday night games. He had Green-Ellis and Janikowski, I had Hernandez and McFadden left. Wasn't worried about the matchup going in, but sure was nice that both players got their fair share of points! With that said, my QB situation is hurting (Bradford/Collins). Drop Collins for Grossman? I have #1 waiver wire priority, but I don't want to burn it until I come across a player I'm absolutely sure will help me.
9/13/2011 8:47:08 AM
Had the second most points and lost by .8 points because I didn't play the right kicker. Fuck kickers
9/13/2011 8:58:03 AM
guy in my league dropped lance moore and roy williams. either one worth a grab? i saw a couple of injury flags
9/13/2011 9:26:28 AM
I have Moore on my bench. If he comes back this week (groin injury), I would think he would get some targets for sure with Colston out. As for Williams, I'm just not sold on the guy. Of course this all depends on who you decide to drop, and who else is available to pick up.
9/13/2011 9:45:57 AM
who should I startNewton or Roth
9/13/2011 10:16:00 AM
Big Ben vs. Seattle D, no question. Newton comes down to earth against the Packers.
9/13/2011 10:21:00 AM
I'm 1st on the waivers so gonna try to pick up Cadillac Williams this week.
9/13/2011 11:18:06 AM
I'm picking up Cam Newton as a backup to replace Matt Cassel. I know the first week was a fluke but he only has to do well during my starter's bye week (week 5), which is against the Saints.
9/13/2011 11:25:40 AM
9/13/2011 11:41:02 AM
Is Owen Daniels still worth holding onto over someone like Aaron Hernandez? Just seems like Daniels has been on the decline for a little while now.
9/13/2011 11:41:24 AM
Hernandez is splitting time with Gronkowski. its a toss up
9/13/2011 1:16:24 PM
^Agreed.Stafford vs KC or Roethlisberger vs SEA this weekend? Thoughts...?
9/13/2011 1:21:14 PM
KC looks like the worst team in the leauge right now, and I think Pitt will try to run on seattle as much as possible.I'd start Stafford but it's a toss up.@Prospero, Didn't Nicks get injured?[Edited on September 13, 2011 at 1:34 PM. Reason : ]
