Saw him this past weekend... Hes got braces... has he always had braces?
3/22/2011 9:53:45 PM
yeah dude.. He was born with them.
3/22/2011 9:54:17 PM
well this was from a credible yet unrevealable source actually its a guy who reads SFN a ton and usually talks about shit he reads on there, so I was curious if anyone else had heard it
3/23/2011 7:55:29 AM
SFN knows maybe just a smidge more than anyone else on TWW.And if you're talking about the forums, you might as well just go ahead and call it Pack Pride Redux.
3/23/2011 7:56:44 AM
I mean he did come in saying that Donovan was a possible coach, so there's that I guess
3/23/2011 8:04:12 AM
SFN actually knows less than most on TWW because they take every retarded rumor seriously.

derrick williams for arizona is exacltly what cj could be w/ a lot of hard work and dedicaton...probably even better[Edited on March 24, 2011 at 10:40 PM. Reason : asdf]
3/24/2011 10:39:39 PM
^No. He certainly has potential, though.
3/24/2011 10:45:30 PM
i don't think it was ever mentioned in here that he made the ACC all-freshman team
4/6/2011 7:12:25 PM
I look forward to CJ being a focal point of our offense for the 2011-2012 season.
4/6/2011 7:19:21 PM
Agreed. Along with Ryan Harrow.
4/6/2011 7:39:24 PM
...and Brown, who will be the focal point of the offense
4/6/2011 8:15:56 PM
Don't forget about Scott Wood.[Edited on April 6, 2011 at 8:31 PM. Reason : dark horse focal point baby ]
4/6/2011 8:30:35 PM
cj in the ucla high post could be sweet
4/6/2011 9:51:53 PM
Yeah Wood definitely is one of my favs
4/6/2011 10:59:10 PM
I'm a Vandy man myself.
4/6/2011 11:01:02 PM
key to next season is richard howell. If he's ready to be 30 mins,12ppg, 10 reb, 2 ast then we can make the tournament.
4/6/2011 11:02:40 PM
^He is not capable of that.
4/6/2011 11:03:32 PM
^ why do you say that?If his conditioning is good and he cuts his foul rate down he can easily get that.Have you ever seen his per minute numbers? They are fairly incredible.
4/6/2011 11:19:08 PM
if they made a movie about howell, it would be called "black men can't jump"
4/6/2011 11:35:45 PM
^^Maybe once every 7-8 games, but he's doesn't have the skill set to do that for an entire season. Truth be told, no one really knows what he may look like under a legit coaching staff. ]

4/7/2011 7:04:43 AM
Isnt CJ more like Josh Howard?
4/7/2011 10:59:38 AM
CJ is comparable to KG. Obviously they're on completely different levels at this point, but build, athleticism, and skill set are all alike.
4/7/2011 11:05:49 AM
Josh Howard comparison is way more legit than Garnett, which I've never understood. CJ and KG play different positions, different builds, they just look alike from a distance.
4/7/2011 11:07:11 AM
he's just like arvydas sabonis
4/7/2011 11:09:40 AM
Considering one is a freshman and the other has had 15 years in the NBA to spend in the weight room and develop a complete and well rounded game, I would say they are directly comparable.
4/7/2011 11:22:11 AM
if CJ was 6'-11" then the comparisons would be a lot more valid. But I dont necessarily disagree with the comparisons
4/7/2011 11:48:44 AM
Darius Miles
4/7/2011 11:55:34 AM
Antonio McDyess
4/7/2011 11:58:06 AM
KG doesn't play like a 6'11" guy. He has the skill set of a froward. NBA positions are all convoluted anyways. He will post a man if he has a big size advantage but he spends more time driving and taking jump shots. Davis and both O'neils spend the time in the post doing big man work.
4/7/2011 11:58:55 AM
larry nance
4/7/2011 12:03:38 PM
Tripuka. Thread over.
4/7/2011 12:08:18 PM
4/7/2011 12:13:42 PM
All allys are reserved for Vandy
4/7/2011 12:20:46 PM
Saying howell doesn't have the skillset to avg 12 and 10 is ludicrous. He did it easily this year off his per minute numbers. He's one of the premeire rebounders in the entire country.
4/7/2011 2:25:47 PM
KG's jumpshot >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> CJ's jumpshot
4/7/2011 2:28:44 PM
^
4/7/2011 2:31:43 PM
KG's jumpshot when he was 19 >>> CJ's jumpshot
4/7/2011 2:32:12 PM
I'm sure you remember watching KG take jump shots at 19 when you were 9 years old.
4/7/2011 2:37:17 PM
KG was drafted in the top five, that's pretty easy to remember.
4/7/2011 2:40:18 PM
Yeah, but wasnt KG 6'3 or something when he was drafted?
4/7/2011 2:50:54 PM
4/7/2011 2:54:49 PM
Think about this, what if you put Hodge with all of his skills in the body of CJL. Wouldnt that be awesome?<3 to CJL BTW
4/7/2011 3:06:03 PM
noneither of them have a jumpshot
4/7/2011 3:15:04 PM
KG knows nothing about moving from college to the NBA
4/7/2011 3:20:51 PM
4/7/2011 3:48:17 PM
^ more like you realized you made an incorrect statement.Howells numbers last season 18.2 mins, 7.4 pts, 6.5 reb.Translate that to 30 minutes and it's 12.2 pts, 10.7 rebSo assuming he doesn't even improve and doesn't receive an increase in opportunities 12pts and 10reb would be a very reasonable assumption based off minutes alone. So just admit you were wrong and move on.
