Who do you start? Just 1 Steve Slaton - Highly ranked coming into this season. Was very good last year. Stunk it up last week and plays a Tennessee team who gave up less than 40 rushing yards to the steelers a week ago. Larry Johnson - Not as explosive as he used to be. Did not perform well last week. But they play the Raiders this week. Santonio Holmes - Seems to catch a TD every week here lately. His consistency in the past is a concern. Blew up last week. Plays the Bears this week. Not a PPR league[Edited on September 17, 2009 at 7:37 AM. Reason : df]

^ Steve Slaton could be a good choice. He broke 100 yards last season in both games against the Titans (with Albert Haynesworth) so we know he can put up some numbers against them, and with Albert out of the picture he might do better. Santonio could also have a big game with Urlacher out (limiting the amount of pressure on Ben). The Steelers dont have a great running game so Ben will be throwing alot, and Rodgers last week was able to complete passes regularly when he had time.I would take Holmes if you have weak WRs on your roster and Slaton if you have weak RBs.

^ good point. wasnt thinking about flex positions and totally missed the Just 1 part.Take Holmes.[Edited on September 17, 2009 at 9:20 AM. Reason : a]
9/17/2009 9:18:53 AM
I would go with Slaton personally, you know he's going to get touches and I'm sure the Texans want to get him back on track running the ball like he did last season
9/17/2009 9:19:52 AM
Pick 2!Slaton @ TENParker @ CHICadillac @ BUF
9/17/2009 9:28:11 AM
^^ depends on how far the Texans get behind in the game and Schaub is forced to throw. He is a good choice though since he has had success against them. ^ Slaton and Cadillac.
9/17/2009 9:35:27 AM
slaton and williams. don't start Parker.

LT vs BALKevin Smith (DET) vs MINpick one[Edited on September 17, 2009 at 11:05 AM. Reason : I hate to say it but I am leaning towards Smith just for his ability to get passes (this is a PPR)]
9/17/2009 11:04:32 AM
smith.....LT was wearing a boot yesterday
9/17/2009 11:15:28 AM
yeah i was reading about how he tweaked his ankle but i didn't know how serious it was...
9/17/2009 11:23:19 AM
Kevin Smith (DET) vs MIno doubt about it. He'll get you 4-8 points just on receptions alone.LT is done.
9/17/2009 11:34:00 AM
I've been offered this trade (in a 16-team league, so some players are hard to come by):I Own: Matt Cassell, Braylon EdwardsTrading For: Eli ManningOther QBs I have: Pennington, Leinart (hoping Warner goes down!).WRs: Holmes, Owens, Bryant, Hixon (still one or two guys I wouldn't mind picking off waivers).I just need a capable starting quarterback, and the only ones left on waivers are Leftwich and Bulger.Tell me what I need to do TWW (other than draft better)!
9/17/2009 11:37:43 AM
I dont think that is a bad trade really. In my leagues, Eli doesn't get the most points but Cassell is stil hurt right?
9/17/2009 11:42:44 AM
^ Don't do it. Two starters for one in a league that deep isn't worth it unless you are 100% sure that the 1 person will do better than your previous QB week in and week out.Eli is not the guy to make that trade for. Hold on for a while, because you could be making a big mistake.
9/17/2009 11:48:29 AM
assuming that LT is out, I need to find his replacementJulius Jones @ SForFred Jackson vs TB
9/17/2009 12:34:53 PM
love Fred Jackson after his use last week...now they won't be playing the pats
9/17/2009 12:35:36 PM
yeah Jackson should get the reps
9/17/2009 12:37:05 PM
Someone in my league just dropped Anthony Gonzalez. My bench is miserable and my WRs are terrible. This will be a nice gift if he can come back strong after the bye.
9/17/2009 2:06:34 PM
him sitting on your bench would be just like a 5th wr that you never have.Pick him up and reap the benefits when he comes back.
9/17/2009 2:09:21 PM
I dropped Gonzo but I'm stacked at WR...I picked up GB's defense
9/17/2009 2:23:47 PM
I have 3wr's that are playable but will only be playing 2 this week.DeSean JacksonBernard BerrianSantonio HolmesWhich 2 should I play?
9/17/2009 2:27:33 PM
Holmes and...I'd say DJ
9/17/2009 2:29:35 PM
I agree^, I have Berrian in one of my leagues but I'm starting Harvin over him just because Berrian hasn't shown that he is going to be targeted by Favre too much.It doesn't matter the QB for the Eagles, DJ is going to be targeted.
9/17/2009 3:00:39 PM
Thanks guys. That's what I had set, just needed confirmation. Now watch Berrian have a 20+ point week.
9/17/2009 3:15:25 PM
until Berrian proves he isnt inhibited by his hamstring injury, you cant put much faith in him
9/17/2009 3:51:14 PM
agreed. There arent any reasons that I can think of where I would play Berrian over those two.Temper your expectations with Desean, especially if McNabb doesnt play.
9/17/2009 3:58:39 PM
here's a tough DEF conundrum.Redskins DEF vs. STLorFalcons DEF vs. Delhomme and multiple interceptions.
9/17/2009 4:38:37 PM
redskins, Bulger will be running for his life and I expect Carolina to run the ball almost all game.Def. go with a sure fire bet in Redskins
9/17/2009 4:39:44 PM
I'd go with Washington...ATL might get an extra pick or two, but Washington might shut out St. Louis
9/17/2009 4:40:42 PM
Cedric Benson @ GBorMarion Barber vs NYGRidiculous scoring- 2 pts per rush. 10 yds per pt. Bonus pts: 3 points at 75 yards; 5 points at 90 yards; 7 points at 110 yards
9/17/2009 5:35:32 PM
^tough call...I'd lean MB3 though even against a stout NYG run defenseI was proposed a trade...I would give up Jerius Norwood and get San Diego's defenseCheck the details though...my RBs are Adrian Peterson, Jamal Lewis, Julius Jones, Felix Jones and Jerius Norwood...I currently have Green Bay's defense...I'd like to add another solid defense (I think SDG's defense will be fine this year)Thoughts on this trade? Again normal thinking would say GB defense is ok, keep your RB depth, but if I never play Norwood, what good is keeping him if the opportunity cost is getting to play SDG's defense a couple times each versus 3 horrible AFC West teams?]
9/17/2009 6:15:22 PM
^^ Both matchups suck, but I'd assume that Benson will get more carries.I'm stumped on my PPR flex this week:Jerricho Cotchery vs. NELeon Washington vs. NEDonnie Avery vs. WasKenny Britt vs. HouLouis Murphy vs. KC[Edited on September 17, 2009 at 6:18 PM. Reason : .]
9/17/2009 6:17:42 PM
^I'd go Leon...what do you think of my proposed trade^^
9/17/2009 6:19:01 PM
The Falcons say they want to get Norwood more touches this year, but I don't really think that's going to happen. The only thing I might keep in mind is that Edge could supplant Julius Jones in Seattle.Otherwise your RB depth is fine.[Edited on September 17, 2009 at 6:22 PM. Reason : AP is practically 2 starters]
9/17/2009 6:21:30 PM
i also have SDG's and GB's defenses in my other league...I like having the same players as long as it isn't at a detriment to one team, but it also decreases the amount of times you have one player on your team, and your opponent has him in another league...but thats another topicmy only real hesitation about pulling the trigger on that trade is norwood's value if turner went out for the season...but i guess thats a risk with anybody[Edited on September 17, 2009 at 6:33 PM. Reason : .]
9/17/2009 6:32:34 PM
Percy HarvinEddie RoyalCadillacpick one. i'm thinking Harvin b/c he's playing Detroit.
9/17/2009 6:59:07 PM
I think Royal might blow up against Cleveland after a slow week last week but I dunnoI think Cadillac will have a decent game but nothing spectacularHarvin might be the fit, but Bell rushed for over 140 yards on Detroit last week...ADP is licking his chopsshould I do the trade above?
9/17/2009 7:05:01 PM
i wouldn't do that trade.
9/17/2009 7:24:31 PM
i just realized SDG and GB have the same bye week...gonna have to nix it
9/17/2009 7:27:48 PM
I don't really see San Diego's D being very good this year (just judging by last year and last week). But I don't really see Norwood putting up numbers either. So, hmm tough one. I'd say do it and play San Diego's D on a week-week basis, depending on who they're facing
9/17/2009 7:34:52 PM
I cancelled it cause they have the same bye week...I don't know what to think about their defense after struggling to beat Oakland, but I do think they're a lock to win the division
9/17/2009 7:36:38 PM
What about these two:(PPR) Patrick Crayton vs. Giants or Lance Moore vs. Eagles?(Non-PPR) Tim Hightower vs. Jax or Fred Jackson vs. Bucs?
9/17/2009 7:44:58 PM
Tough one but I'd probably go Crayton and JacksonCOLTS SIGN HANK BASKETTneeded some depth with Gonzalez out, any fantasy value? Any idea where he's gonna be on the WR depth chart? Peyton can make lots of WRs look good[Edited on September 17, 2009 at 8:06 PM. Reason : .]
9/17/2009 7:54:50 PM
^ Baskett will probably take a week or two to adjust to the new offense and a new QB..not to mention he was the third wr on the depth chart in philly. I would wait to see how he adapts first. Ill make it tougher:Brandon Jacobs @ DALFrank Gore @ SEARay Rice @ SDFred Jackson @ TBLeon W @ NEWhich three?[Edited on September 18, 2009 at 12:34 PM. Reason : a]

Cassel Sanchez or Eli?
9/18/2009 12:36:38 PM
McGahee versus San Diegoor Addai versus MiamiI'm leaning towards McGahee
9/18/2009 12:42:32 PM
^^^Jacobs, Gore, Jackson^^Eli^Willis
9/18/2009 1:06:55 PM
pick 2. PPR leagueL. Washington vs NEJ. Cotchery vs NER. Bush vs PhiJ. Jones vs SF
9/18/2009 1:32:17 PM
personally i'd do cotchery and bush
