I just had one of those moments of lol when they showed Ryan at the bowling alley.
3/30/2009 7:33:44 PM
i think if pam got re-hired as a salesman, that'd be an interesting angle for the stale PB&J plot. but pam as a salesman to begin with seems a little out of character for her.i'm willing to give it a shot. i think i'm more disappointed that they haven't done much with idris elba's character so far, given how much i loved him in the wire.

I could see Dunder Mifflin going under without Michael and his new company takes all of their clients/sales people.
3/31/2009 8:46:20 AM
My guess is that Dunder Mifflin just buys out the Michael Scott Paper Company and Michael is given his old job back as part of the acquisition.
3/31/2009 11:10:05 PM
When will this show fucking die
4/1/2009 8:54:13 PM
you first!
4/1/2009 9:00:24 PM
In german!that whole scene was ace, and new secretary could get it. she makes pamela look like she is 40 years old
4/10/2009 1:09:34 AM
I felt like the stuff with Jim was kinda forced. He has never been portrayed as stupid and "rundown" and "distribution list" or whatever are terms that don't seem like they would throw him off like that at all. I mean is there even anyone in this thread that doesnt know what those mean??
4/10/2009 1:38:19 AM
Kevin's "I thought [Kelly's middle name] was a boys name" had me loling
4/10/2009 3:25:04 AM
"Shes about a 6 in New York so about a 7 here in Scranton", hahaha that was gold.Hahaha and Ryan watching Flea Market. This episode is full of lol. As stupid as I thought the Michael Scott Paper Company would be its pretty freaking hilarious so far.[Edited on April 10, 2009 at 9:54 AM. Reason : a][Edited on April 10, 2009 at 9:56 AM. Reason : a]

I really liked the alternate intro credits montage.
4/10/2009 4:23:40 PM
yeah, i wish they'd bring that back for good. i'm really digging the new direction. it's nice to see something completely different and..... http://www.michaelscottpapercompany.com
4/11/2009 9:38:23 PM
so I guess no one else felt the whole Jim thing was really forced writing in the last episode? In the pictures of their office though, I love the diversity poster as well as the clock for Beijing (since the hands will always be the exact same as their local time) as well as the fact that their local time clock just says "USA". ^ i loved every minute of that
4/22/2009 11:13:39 AM
haha nicei couldn't sit through the whole thing thoughand i realized i have missed a few eps here and there - didn't recognize some of those pranks.
4/22/2009 11:39:34 AM
...Interesting way to close the arc.
4/23/2009 10:46:54 PM
yeah
4/23/2009 11:15:17 PM
Michael suddenly went from a blithering idiot to a brilliant negotiator, but I guess they had to tie it up somehow...
4/24/2009 1:36:53 AM
tonight's "now we the how the turntables................."and "tall. beets."are two of my fav moments in a while
4/24/2009 1:47:33 AM
^^ he's always been able to switch into a good salesman mode when it comes down to it
4/24/2009 7:54:42 AM
Michael has always shown a knack for actually being somewhat intelligent in business situations when his back is up against the wall. But the whole thing was pretty pointless other then it means Ryan is back and Jim and Pam are now both sales people.
4/24/2009 7:56:48 AM
^and that there will be two hot chicks on the show
4/24/2009 8:24:07 AM
"my balls are in your court"
4/24/2009 9:03:50 AM
I really enjoyed this story arc. From this point on, we no longer need to wonder why Michael doesnt get fired for his antics. That was one of the show's weaknesses.[Edited on April 24, 2009 at 10:02 AM. Reason : .]

isnt awkwardly non sequitur the point of the show?
4/26/2009 10:31:12 PM
No, he's right. Wouldn't it be great if Michael Scott was a normal functioning member of society and the show was just a documentary of a paper company?
4/27/2009 6:01:54 AM
I'm disappointing that the Michael Scot Paper Company only lasted 2 episodes. [Edited on April 27, 2009 at 7:08 AM. Reason : And Michael is not an idiot. Far from it, he's extremely smart. He is just socially awkward.]
4/27/2009 7:07:22 AM
^^hahahahahai see what you did there
4/27/2009 9:28:37 AM
^^^a less retarded Michael Scott would not a documentary makeSince the beginning I've watched the show for everything about it but Michael, most of the other characters are great and keep the show aliveI think the writers get that too because compared to some of the stuff in season one, Michael is a lot more competent, but still
4/28/2009 11:34:04 AM
Really all they did was have a 3 episode arc that means nothing other than putting Pam in sales. Now she'll end up being better than Jim, make him feel inferior, and will cause a strain on their relationship.
4/28/2009 2:18:31 PM
last week was awesome---Michael was brilliant

Decent episode. Nice to finally see casual day in The Office. It had a good amount of Creed, though his bits weren't as golden as they usually are.
4/30/2009 9:45:25 PM
Am I the only one that thinks the season 1 humor was the best comedy in the whole series?
4/30/2009 11:23:35 PM
ummm..... no?That's pretty much the argument that Office fans have been making for, say.... 4 years now.
4/30/2009 11:35:14 PM
i thought this episode was one of the strongest ones this season
