11/18/2008 6:18:11 AM
Did anyone see the bball gameday crew talking before the Memphis-UMass game from the Dean Dome? Those were the dumbest looking students and not to mention the light blue smurf didn't know what to do with his hand, especially with all the guys around him.
11/18/2008 8:58:31 AM
The Oklahoma-Davidson game should be highly entertaining

11/18/2008 12:52:30 PM
Why would anyone look forward to an Iowa game?Jess Settles isn't walking through that door.
11/18/2008 12:53:38 PM
aside from unc/kentucky this evening, that's about as good of basketball as there is right now.]
11/18/2008 12:58:44 PM
CBS College Sports has a good game on tonight. Channel 513 for those with Astound Digital in Walnut Creek...http://mattsarz44017.tripod.com/basketball2008.htmlSt John's - BC is on too at 7:30 on ESPN. First Big East - ACC matchup of the year. Also, Davidson-Oklahoma with Curry and Griffin, two preseason first/second team All Americans. UAB-Arizona might be good too late night.[Edited on November 18, 2008 at 1:09 PM. Reason : x]
11/18/2008 1:07:09 PM
i wonder how hard it was for memphis to start a game at 10pm... it was noticable at the beginning to me... it was terrible quality... all for the sake of television lol

11/18/2008 2:01:38 PM
Syracuse is struggling with Richmond right now. They are only up by 4 right now, 54-58, with 7:46 remaining.
11/18/2008 7:34:52 PM
i just realized how fired up i am for some college basketball
11/18/2008 8:29:55 PM
Oh, it's college basketball season. Raftery!!!I can't wait to see what drunken shenanigans await us from the McDonugh, Bilas, Raftery trio in Maui this year. Are there any Canadians playing in it this year? The drunken anti-Canadian rants against Denham Brown in '06 were glorious...[Edited on November 18, 2008 at 8:39 PM. Reason : if you don't like raftery you have a problem with yourself]
11/18/2008 8:39:14 PM
i wish Gus Johnson was a regular during the yearI would tune in to watch Valparaiso vs. Tennessee-Chattanooga for his excitement
11/18/2008 8:43:42 PM
Come on BC. I mean I don't really like BC, but please beat St. John's. I know you guys are bad this year, but the ACC needs wins over the Big East, even if it is only St. John's.
11/18/2008 8:46:08 PM
11/18/2008 8:46:54 PM
conference fans...
11/18/2008 8:46:55 PM
outside of the ridiculously deep Tennessee squad, how bad is the SEC this year?
11/18/2008 8:50:43 PM
I just want the ACC to be one of the top conferences in the nation. If State actually does decent this year and ends up on the bubble then hopefully we can get in over some middle of the road Pac 10, Big 10, or Big XII that didn't have to play as difficult of a schedule as State did.Florida should be good this year.[Edited on November 18, 2008 at 8:52 PM. Reason : ]
11/18/2008 8:51:17 PM
The SEC is bad enough to where Kensucky will get a bid even when they go a game or two over .500 OOC and 8-10 over in conference...Bad loss potentially for the ACC if BCU loses to St. Johns. Granted both are bottom feeders but in the 16 team Big East, St. Johns is one of the bottom 3 IMO... But the ACC should be fine for 5-6 teams in the dance this year...[Edited on November 18, 2008 at 8:59 PM. Reason : it would behoove the ACC for FSU to not lose to LaSalle as well (I think UConn plays LaSalle next).]
11/18/2008 8:56:01 PM
oh Dickie V.how I have missed you
11/18/2008 8:56:58 PM

Damn, they are fun to watch for a college team...Scary. Hansbrough might actually slow them down a bit.If UConn is #2 then there is a laaaarrrrgggeeee gap between 1 and 2.[Edited on November 18, 2008 at 9:20 PM. Reason : xx\]
11/18/2008 9:19:56 PM
