The Walgreens $5 holiday RR prints out if the total is $25 before coupons and in-ad coupons (walgreens coupons).

Last night the fucker at the store at Walnut and Tryon crumpled up my holiday RR and threw it away because he thought I didn't deserve it! I'm calling corporate on the bastard today. Wags has a huge problem with employees stealing your RRs so they can use them, since they aren't issued with a name on them or anything like ECBs at CVS.

Trash was behind the counter, I would have had to put that POS on the floor first and it didn't seem like it was worth that.

I'm gonna call corporate on Monday, my mouth is still hurting. I'd had some oral surgery the day before he pulled this shit and it hurt to talk so I didn't really want to argue with him. After I told him to void the transaction I had to ask for my coupons back too, mofo was not going to give them to me and I paid with a RR! He was trying to steal from me on both ends, bet those RRs ended up in his pocket too.

His name is Brent Bowen or something like that, think he's an assistant manager. White guy, baggy shirt, hair gel, looks the part of an asshole. I'd suggest doing whatever you can to have other people check you out if you go to that store.

ive heard that some walgreens have told their employees to throw away the holiday register rewards if they print and you didn't spend the $25

Went to Walgreens this morning on my way to the library


Got 2 more tubes of lip gloss (cheap stocking stuffers FTW), 1 Schick Intuition razor, 1 Schick Titaninum Trimmer and a stuffed animal

Used the $3 Easy Saver q for the razors and two $4 coupons for the lip gloss and the $5 holiday register reward I got the other day and spent $6.50 OOP and got another $5 holiday register reward.

The lady in front of me got one too and said "wow, I didn't think I met the limit" and the cashier (who is my favorite) said "yeah, I don't think they have it programmed right but that has nothing to do with you so here is your coupon"

About the Bath and Body Works Lambie toy...They are super soft..kinda makes my fingers feel funny touching them. They went on sale and I saw them when I was in Triangle Town using my "Free up to up to $13 with any purchase." They are cute. The cheapest thing in the store were the small holiday gift bags...which were $1 but on half price so I paid 53 cents and got the footloose fizz and a small bag to package it in.

So, if you go to get lambie, get the 53 cent bag if you're just trying to get out cheap.

Walgreens has the most uninformed employees of any store except maybe Kmart.

You can get register rewards any day of the ad if you buy the right product. Using coupons will NOT prevent the RR from printing. If you use the RR to buy the same products, then another one will not print. If you use one RR to buy things for a RR deal from a different company, then the new one will print.

You should be able to use multiple RRs in a single transaction, they act like a manufacturer coupon so for every RR you need an item you are not using a coupon on. Some stores will limit you to one per transaction because they are retards but it says right on the RR you can use as many as you have items for.

Edit: ALWAYS hand over the RRs one by one at the end. I have had several times when the cashier pocketed one of my RRs and claimed I didn't give it to them, so now I control them tightly. Since they are not issued with a name on them like ECBs, RR theft by employees is fairly common at some stores.

^^^^I went to Crabtree this afternoon and got a black lambie...i'm gonna give it to my AOE big sis (our family tree is labeled the "black sheep" lol). I, too, cheaped out in the purchase -- bought a nail file for $1.

And yeah, walgreen's employees really haven't been that helpful/informed whenever I've needed something. I always clip coupons from their inserts but cop out on actually going because I don't want to spend time gathering items and then having them tell me my final price is going to be tenX more than i had previously calculated.

I'm about to look online but I figured I'd share my question here just in case someone else has the same issue.

My boyfriend bought the 4 pk. of gillette fushion power razor blades and so his total was like $14. You have to spend $15 to get $5 ECB back. I went tonight to roll some of my extra care bucks that were about to expire and I picked up a Venus razor to help me reach $25 and to earn $5 ECB.

My ECB did not print soooo..should I just return it? $7 is just too much for razors when I normally get them for $2 or less.

I am going to look online to see if there is anything you can do about ECB's not printing.

Other than that, the CVS on New Bern still has promax bars which are 3/$5 get $5 ECB back...so if you like them (they are pretty good) they're free if you have ECB. And you can get 15 bars and make $25 ECB.

there is a way for the cashier @ CVS to force the ECBs if they don't print and were supposed to


you can call CVS customer service and they will look at your transaction and see if you were due ECBs...they can add them to your card to print (~48hours later) on your next trip to CVS

I just got the rite-aid insert and the coupons say manufacturer's coupon but has a rite aid logo on it. Can I only use it at rite-aid or can I use it anywhere because it says manufacturer coupon on it?
