15Yeah, I have the option of Palmer vs. Baltimore, or Romo vs. the Giants.[Edited on September 6, 2007 at 4:41 PM. Reason : turn the page]

Vicent Jackson vs. the Bearsor Santonio Holmes vs. a lesser defense than the Bears (can't remember, not going to look it up).Who to start?? I'm leaning towards Holmes because I don't see SD putting up huge stats and I already have LT in that game.
9/6/2007 4:59:19 PM
Holmes vs Cleveland
9/6/2007 5:01:32 PM
seconded.you already have the 2nd option as a reciever on the Chargers in LT (Gates is #1), so why go with the #3 as well when you could have a solid #2 in Holmes, mang.
9/6/2007 5:05:27 PM
in an IDP league.. play 1 LB.. I have AJ Hawk starting but I just noticed that Merriman was still there in FA. Drop Hawk and go after him?

Yes

Only one I would even THINK about changing would be Marshall for Horn only because he is a #1 on his team but I would wait to see how things play out in Atl. with Harrington. Marshawn will be splitting carries with A-train and no matter how bad the Browns may be, Lewis will get the carries. I am about to attempt to trade some of my RB's for a QB. My QB's as of now are Pennington, Grossman, and Garrard. Looking at trading for Kitna or Cutler. Who should I go after and which one of my QB's(if any) should I maybe look to give back up?[Edited on September 6, 2007 at 6:02 PM. Reason : a]

You're starting the right people out of who you gotHowever, for this week I'd consider not playing Rivers vs the Bears D. I'd play Garcia over him or look at the FA pool and see if anyone like Lienhart or Delhomme is available. Both are less valuable for the season, but I think they have more potential for points this week.
9/6/2007 6:31:53 PM
i forget, on yahoo football can i switch out guys that play on different days or are they locked in for the whole week?
9/6/2007 6:41:30 PM
^the players lock about 5 mins before the kickoff of their game
9/6/2007 6:42:36 PM
i understand that, what i'm saying is if i have reggie bush playing tonight, can i play him and then put someone else in his spot sunday
9/6/2007 6:45:48 PM
No, once his game starts he is locked in.
9/6/2007 6:47:42 PM
^^lol no league would allow double dipping like that.Every week people would stack up on MNF players and rack up the points.

Alright, I need to start two RB's this week. Who do I go with?Frank Gore vs. AriRudi Johnson vs BalTravis Henry vs BufJamal Lewis vs PitAdrian Peterson vs AtlI'm thinking Gore and Henry, since Rudi has to deal with a pretty stout Baltimore defense.Oh yeah, I had another thing with my WR.Should I have Randy Moss start or should I switch up with Javon Walker? I already have Chad Johnson and Hines Ward starting. I know Moss is nursing an injury but I don't know how it might effect his play.[Edited on September 6, 2007 at 7:25 PM. Reason : WR]
9/6/2007 7:19:40 PM
who do i start????harrison 1branch 2Moss 3bruceMuhammadI get to play 3also lj smith or crumpler
9/6/2007 7:21:23 PM
Good choice, just monitor Henry's health up till gameday, and plug Rudi in if Travis' knee is giving him problems.
9/6/2007 7:21:52 PM
i'm sitting on harrington as trade fodder should he do ok, hopefully I'll be able to use him to help upgrade at RB
9/6/2007 7:26:33 PM
I know it's incredibly early (in the opening game and more importantly, the season), but I could easily see Addai being a 2000+ yard rusher this season.[Edited on September 6, 2007 at 9:16 PM. Reason : asdf]
9/6/2007 9:15:46 PM
Maybe 2000 total...he won't get enough attempts and the colts throw a lot of RB passesSomething like 1500/600 rushing receiving
9/6/2007 9:37:03 PM
Fuck reggie bush, do something
9/6/2007 9:48:55 PM

I am glad Reggie Wayne picked it up later in the game... after that early fumble I was getting worried.

looks like McCown is gonna start for Oakland instead of Culpepper
9/7/2007 1:52:22 AM
Cutler (Den) or Losman (Buff) to start?Denver is @ Buffalo...
9/7/2007 7:45:20 AM
i'm glad i went to bed after seeing harrison make that 4th catchlooks like he went to sleep after that too
9/7/2007 8:18:30 AM
^I'm glad that Harrison did well too. I just wish he had scored on that one pass where he got stopped at the like 3-yard line.
9/7/2007 9:04:33 AM
^me too, that wouldve given Peyton 4 TD's on the nightand I'm playing against Addai, who scored shortly after
9/7/2007 9:18:33 AM
Who to start at flex position?Bernard Berrian (vs. SD)Cedric Benson (vs. SD)Patrick Crayton (vs. NYG) *Terry Glenn is out with a knee injury
9/7/2007 9:23:53 AM
Rivers vs Bears or McNair vs Bengals? Also Mark Clayton vs Bengals or Joey Galloway vs Seattle?
9/7/2007 9:24:16 AM
9/7/2007 10:31:32 AM
big winners last night: Peyton, Reggie, Marvin, Addaibig losers last night: Brees (unless you're in a completion league), Bush, Deuce
9/7/2007 10:33:03 AM
Dallas Clark looked good too.....he even lined up in the slot some. He might be in line to take over for stokley instead of gonzalez.
9/7/2007 10:35:23 AM
him and Utecht are always gonna get a couple tossed their way...I just don't see Clark getting more than about 4 TDs this year with all their other weapons
9/7/2007 10:37:23 AM
already been touched on, but this is why I am here....Glenn to miss at least two gamesCowboys wide receiver Terry Glenn has had a setback with his right knee and will miss at least two games, if not more. Glenn underwent surgery on August 1 to have a cyst removed from the back of the knee and returned to practice this week. He experienced swelling following Wednesday's practice, and the current issue is not believed to be related to the surgery. Agent Jimmy Gould tells the Dallas Morning News that Glenn will seek several opinions before deciding on the next move. Patrick Crayton will start in his place, and Sam Hurd will move up to the No. 3 receiver role. Glenn is no stranger to injury, and the alarming insinuation here is that his swelling is due to some extra damage. Fantasy owners in deeper leagues should jump all over Crayton, just in case Glenn is out for a long period. Crayton is in a contract year and showed flashes of potential last year.Pick him up if you can!!! - The Guru

God, I have both Addai and Wayne. I almost cried tears of joy watching the game last night. Now I just need Alex Smith to pull through and I'll have this week all locked up.

9/7/2007 2:00:35 PM
I could easily see him as a 1500-1600 yard rusherAlthough right after the first play of the game, fantasy owners everywhere were saying "omg did i waste a top 5 pick on that guy who just got half of his ribs broken?" but then he came back and had a solid game[Edited on September 7, 2007 at 2:02 PM. ^^yeah but 2000 has happened 5 times in nfl history, and at the 4.8 ypc he averaged last year, he would need to set a new nfl record for most carries in a season to get to 2000.Plus he isn't going to get to play the Saints every week [Edited on September 7, 2007 at 2:24 PM. ok everyone, to clear up the confusion...I do not see Addai easily breaking 2000 yards, I said:
9/7/2007 3:02:58 PM
I could easily see Rex Grossman being a 40+ TD passer this seasonI DO NOT THINK HE CAN EASILY DO THIS!
