I've never used an elliptical. I do the same general HIIT that ^ you seem to do but on the treadmill. 2 min sprint/3 min walk. Is it more advantageous to use the elliptical as opposed to treadmill?My general MWF workout is a small 50 calorie burn jog to start. Ab/oblique workout (3 sets of 35-40 of each exercise). Chest, bi, tri, upper back. Then HIIT on the treadmill to about 250 calories. Then 1-1.5 hours of hard basketball..[Edited on March 20, 2007 at 12:25 PM. Reason : x]

i dont know about more advantageous, but it certainly is not as hard on my kneesim just not a treadmill personto me, the elliptical is like pedalling a bike standing upmy feet get numb sometimes but i can get past that

Taking the day off to gorge myself with pizza at happy hour and drink beer for the NCAA tourney game. never started the gym thing... cause i went once and felt like i was gonna die. BUT i started a little running and situps on march 115 situps on march 1 - add one per day, and knock off 1 cig a day41 today, missed a couple days.....besides that, i walk a lot more and will be done smoking soon. plus i do PT for my back problems, back feels much betteronce i get the smoking done, i'm gonna start the gym. but while im still smoking, i'll NEVER be able to have the willpower to stay with a gymstill nowhere near healthy but shits a lot different
