Isn't it a 10/10 split? Eye of Jupiter is #11. I'm confused.[Edited on December 1, 2006 at 4:40 PM. Reason : .]

It was originally suppose to be a 10/10 split, however Exodus was only suppose to be a standalone episode instead of a two parter. They were massively over budget and said "hey lets go ahead and get a second episode out of this for the price of one"
12/1/2006 9:11:55 PM
This could be the alcohol talking, but that opening sequence was bad ass.
12/1/2006 9:12:23 PM
I missed the opening sequence...what was itbtw is it just me or is starbuck really hot in this episode?[Edited on December 1, 2006 at 9:16 PM. Reason : a]
12/1/2006 9:15:25 PM
This is a very enjoyable episode, even if it is "filler"
12/1/2006 9:27:04 PM
adama got his shit pushed in
12/1/2006 9:37:58 PM
this whole badass starbuck shit is getting old.she's basically turned into a caricature.
12/1/2006 9:43:57 PM
this is the best episode of the season so far.my apologies for calling it bullshit filler.
12/1/2006 9:53:20 PM
character development...this episode winshowever actionwise..nothing beats the galactica jumping into the atmosphere
12/1/2006 9:54:37 PM
not really feeling this episodebut so close to seeing a starbuck nipple
12/1/2006 10:25:25 PM
Excellent episode. I'm right back to hating Starbuck once again. It really sucks that she went to so much trouble to rescue Anders, and now she's just completely thrown him away. I also never thought I'd feel sorry for Dualla, but I surely do now. Wonder what's going to happen with her?
12/1/2006 10:30:27 PM
Hate her?I fuckin LOVE her for this. I thought Anders was a chump.Dualla can come get her lil cute ass some of this
12/1/2006 10:49:10 PM
i agree i am a little sick of starbuck. definitely looking forward to the next episode.
12/1/2006 10:57:24 PM
That was definatly the best filler I have ever seen.Adama's speach freaking got to me.And next episode they actually acknowledge the food logistics!1I will never question the battlestar galactica again
12/2/2006 12:03:17 AM
^ yeah im happy about that. Good episode over all. Character development and whatnot.

I don't think starbuck was that badass in this one. She got tired before Lee did, and if all the blood hadn't left his head for southernly destinations he could have put her on the mat. I fucking loved this episode. The transition at the end where it went from all out brawl to the embrace was just beautiful.
12/2/2006 6:01:01 PM
This season will win an emmy. It really has to. I have never been this impressed with a season in any series, HBO or not. I loved Rome, but damn if I am more intrigued by BSG now.
12/2/2006 7:09:56 PM
Oh god I can't stop watching this episode"I missed you too."
12/2/2006 7:36:48 PM
^^^ You kidding me?She WRECKED that first guy's shit. She would've dug in Lee's ass, too, if she didn't get all distracted by the whole "I love him" shit. This is going to be the episode I make people watch when they doubt my "best show on TV" claims.[Edited on December 2, 2006 at 7:38 PM. You know it's funny, this is one of the most soap operatic BSG episodes yet and it's also considered one of the best by its male fanbase. You guys are all softies, aren't you? You can admit it.
12/2/2006 8:05:42 PM
Yeah, it's crazy that guys would like an episode filled with violence and sex.
12/2/2006 8:12:28 PM
This episode was totally mushy compared to some of the Six sex episodes. But I'll give you the boxing.[Edited on December 2, 2006 at 8:21 PM. Reason : .]

I have a friend who graduated from state as a film major. he never liked the show even when I would rave to him about it.Now I feel the need to force him to sit throught the first 2 seasons and then get him to watch this season and see what he thinks.
12/2/2006 11:02:16 PM
^why, he's obviously a gay snob, like all film majors.
12/2/2006 11:35:43 PM
^i agree many film majors are snobs but that is a gross generalization. I have a friend who is a film major and he loves action movies and stupid comedies just like anyone else. ^^why does he not like the show?
12/2/2006 11:48:54 PM
oh he loves shit like that, he just has a bias against shows like this for some reason. He loved star trek TNG....just doesnt like the BSG
12/3/2006 9:42:23 AM
I know what you mean. I'll try and tell someone about BSG and only get eyerolls as a response. I guess people dont think SciFi can have good character development or drama or whatever.
12/3/2006 2:03:41 PM
i didn't think i was going to like this episode.oops.
12/3/2006 3:09:21 PM
12/3/2006 3:19:18 PM
Well when you're on a network that produces Boa Vs. Python and Scorpions on a Train! and you're also named after a show which was really really campy and lousy...its kinda hard to make a good name for yourself. However, they (sci fi) are getting better, The Lost Room looks promising
12/3/2006 6:55:02 PM
^^oh yeah BSG is certainly top of the line when it comes to the SciFi channel. But i was actually refering to SciFi as genre. People expect little out of the genre and its good to see how it can be just as quality as any other genre.[Edited on December 3, 2006 at 6:55 PM. Reason : ^]
12/3/2006 6:55:23 PM
I agree, people don't give scifi a chanceHarsh RealmsFireflySpace Above and Beyondetc etc
12/3/2006 6:58:20 PM
i never saw firefly. SA&B was awesome though.
12/3/2006 7:54:21 PM
Actually, this episode had no sci fi stuff in it. only the fact that they were in a ship and on a planet that wasnt earth was the only different shit.
12/3/2006 8:10:35 PM
yeah but there are some episodes that are REALLY scifi. Like the ones when they are on the Cylon baseship.
12/3/2006 9:19:18 PM
I like when Adama got up there and did his thing. And what's the deal with him and Roslin? It's like they have a forbidden love thing going on.And I don't get why Anders and the black chick aren't more pissed about Starbuck's and Lee's residual emotions. It seems obvious something's up, but they just sit back with each other and watch. I don't know if i'm missing something, but that's kind of lame to me.
12/3/2006 9:53:11 PM
Anders is afraid of getting beaten up, and D just cheats on people so she won't have any trouble moving on. No biggie.
12/3/2006 9:55:18 PM
^ I think the President and Adama are fuckin on the DL.Also, Anders knows Starbuck doesn't want him, and I think Dualla is resigned to the fact that Lee doesnt want her.
12/3/2006 9:55:31 PM
12/4/2006 12:06:12 AM
And whoever mentioned that the crew always seems to get blitzed every episode was proven right again.

^haha thankyou. They were throwin them back during the boxing match
