lucy - I doubt you have a vitamin D deficiency with as much running outside as you do. as far as your hair is concerned, I've heard of women going through hormone changes (i.e. puberty, pregnancy, menopause) who experience a change in the shape of their hair follicles. the hormone changes can also come from an over/under active thyroid. sooooooo in conclusion, get a blood test to check hormone and nutrient levels.

^^^ I wouldn't buy one of those antique ones unless you know what you're doing with sewing and know where to buy replacement needles. My mom has one of those along with her regular machine and it's a bitch to work with.Sergers are ridiculously expensive. It makes me a sad panda My recommendation is to go to one of the sewing/quilting shops in the area and test out the sewing machines. Get a feel for what sort of machine you like. You'll make a much better shopping decision that way.

i got two dresses and a skirt at target today. i cant figure out how to post pics from the site though.
5/5/2010 12:14:54 AM
i bought a kenmore sewing machine from some lady on craigslist for $50... i don't think she ever used it, all the accessories were still in the sealed plastic baggy! it was a deal for me, i love the machine, it's never given me any problems that a you tube video couldn't solve for me.a note on the sergers.. my bf bought me a bernina serger for Christmas and it came with classes at my local shop. i was like AWESOME!! anyway, i recently finished a skirt on it that i made from an old bed sheet.. i did the whole thing on the serger and it turned out really cute

so i went to banana and tried on the dress i posted on the last page. yeah, it wasn't extremely flattering. but i did buy this!it was on sale for $35.00 in the crabtree store. LOVE the skirt. i'm probably going to go back this weekend and pick it up in some other colors (they had navy, beige, the olive-brown one i got, and black). seriously....most comfortable skirt ever and it has pockets! i wore it last night to dinner with my boyfriend and dad and wore a nice beige tank tucked into it and some stilletos. i also got this, which i'm wearing today:much cuter on in person than on the model. $25. wohoo!
5/6/2010 7:56:14 AM
Love the color of that shirt!
5/6/2010 8:38:28 AM
good lord that model's face drives me CRAZYbut cute stuff
5/6/2010 8:39:04 AM
so i got this dress in red, yellow, coral, and teal...i think it looks pretty darn good...would i be crazy to get it in black, purple, gray, and brown as well?i have a bad habit of buying one of every color when i find something i like...i am seriously lacking in sundresses (i have to have sleeves so this really fits the bill)...they are $15 a popi wish i could find different styles that work...but that's probably not going to happen...so i'm thinking i should just stick with what i know will work...[Edited on May 6, 2010 at 11:41 AM. ^ i remembered your post and was thinking that! i don't know what is good in greensboro but we have all of those so i'm gonna hit them up cause i'm sure i can find SOMETHING - they usually have fergie and jessica simpson shoes and at the least nine west and LP, i too have some dresses in the same cut. i have these dresses from last season at old navy just scoop neck 3/4 length sleeve cotton dresses and i have them in 4 colors haha - but with accessories, belts, scarves, different shoes, etc you can make it so people don't even notice! and like those fold over wrap skirts from old navy i have in a bunch of colors, too. so i'm with you on that. go for it!!
5/6/2010 9:38:00 PM
i'm going to ponder it through my next credit card cycle and decide if i still want them...that'll give me a chance to wear the ones i already have and see have much i really love them...but i tried them on again and immediately wanted to go out tonight so i could wear one [Edited on May 6, 2010 at 9:40 PM. lp if you find something that works for you, go with it! i do the same thing, buying something i love in multiple colors. and ^^ is right, just accessorize differently and you're goldenand heads up on a place called charming charlies. they're wildly popular in texas (houston, at least) and its a really cute accessory store. they have everything from shoes, purses, necklaces and earrings to picture frames and dresses. its kind of like a grown up claires and higher quality. i love it!and it looks like there will be one opening in greensboro soon! 5/6/2010 9:48:25 PM
i'm about to post pictures and y'all can tell me if it's worth the investment to have the same dress in like 8 different colors...haha...
5/6/2010 9:48:32 PM
its a $120 investment at $15 a popif you like the cut and all the colors, i dont see a problem. you could spend $120 very easily on a lot less.. and each dress is a whole outfit!^^ online only? i like to shop in store for accessories![Edited on May 6, 2010 at 9:54 PM. Reason : kjdkldsjf]

5/6/2010 10:21:50 PM

5/6/2010 10:40:20 PM
thanks, Misha and Taruny. You should check around Misha bc they are $15 right now.Gotta be honest, because I don't wear dresses that often, I am wicked insecure. I need to find more with pockets so I can have a place for my insulin pump.[Edited on May 6, 2010 at 10:48 PM. Reason : Amy ]

you look hot in that dress and I made you dance on facebook. It was fun.
5/6/2010 10:48:50 PM
Dresses with pockets are getting fashionable--I just remembered that I have one, actually! Thanks for that!
5/6/2010 10:49:52 PM
NICE SHOES AMNAEYES
5/6/2010 10:54:49 PM
my biggest concern was that those dresses were WAY too short...but i like things that make my legs look long
5/6/2010 11:03:32 PM
oh man...make 'em look long, Casey!!! w00t high-five!!![Edited on May 6, 2010 at 11:12 PM. Reason : my dress appears to be cutting my legs off but it really doesn't, promise. ]
5/6/2010 11:11:13 PM
you gotta wear them extra-tall shoes like i wear
5/6/2010 11:14:02 PM
i got my eyebrows threaded today at the mall ($10!)anyone else had it done? i was pretty impressed. it was like 5min and cheaper than waxing. also hurt less and my skin experienced less redness.im a fan and i will be back! the only issue is that you can hear the thread popping the hair out of the follicle which is a little weird & it pinches but if you get waxed, you can handle italso i'd recommend against wearing makeup, my eyes were watering like a mother
5/7/2010 12:09:42 AM
^^I have a dress very similar to the one in your picture! It's purple with white sunburst (tie dye almost) they have it at forever21 online
5/7/2010 8:17:35 AM
does anyone else play with their boobs on a consistent basis?
5/7/2010 1:37:51 PM
when im bored i like to see how big i can make my cleavage by pulling them up in my shirt (know what im talking about?)
5/7/2010 1:40:35 PM
Haha I do
5/7/2010 1:41:08 PM
at first i was like and then I was like
5/7/2010 1:41:56 PM
I don't! And I'm curious.LOLOf course, I'm beyond flat, so there's not much to do.
5/7/2010 1:43:01 PM
i don't try and see how big my cleavage would get, although i just tried it , but i sit there and jiggle them. Know what I mean?[Edited on May 7, 2010 at 1:48 PM. Reason : ph]
5/7/2010 1:44:21 PM
Sometimes I do that with my balls.
5/7/2010 1:45:01 PM
^^ haha yup
5/7/2010 1:46:16 PM
ALSO, can I wear this dress if I put a cami under it? Its a really crappy photo and I'm not quite situated but you get the gist[Edited on May 7, 2010 at 1:53 PM. Reason : repost photos later]
5/7/2010 1:47:32 PM
i dunno if that'll work with a cami
5/7/2010 1:48:17 PM
woah hello boobs.and no, i don't think a cami will help that dress.
5/7/2010 1:49:50 PM
I don't play with my boobs. I keep them shits on lock down in super tight sports bras. Jen - no on the cami. I don't think that dress is very flattering. QUESTION: how do you shave your knees?!?!?!?! I've tried going up, going down, sideways, knee bent, knee straight... and I have yet to find something that works. HALP ME TDUB]
