6/30/2010 10:09:31 AM

6/30/2010 10:13:48 AM
7 minutes of phone interview and I am already moving up the food chain.Do want
6/30/2010 10:16:12 AM
my brain hurts...i probably shouldn't have drank a diet coke, 2 cups of coffee, and 3 bottles of water before 10 a.m.
6/30/2010 10:17:15 AM
i had a budget while in collegeour financial situation has changed significantly in the last month, though. rent, higher electric bill, inherited her car payment, two paychecks now, etc.i guess i should've said "today, we will make our new budget"

i feel like i could support a live in gf without really taking any sort of hit financially, where im at right nowmy bills would be about the same.if she had a job, and a job where she made close to what i do...well then. it'd be hot.
6/30/2010 10:21:54 AM
6/30/2010 10:23:12 AM
crotch fruit is expensiveboats are better
6/30/2010 10:23:56 AM
dude i am terrible with my money. i've tried using mint and all that other budget stuff and it just falls apart
6/30/2010 10:24:21 AM
6/30/2010 10:24:25 AM
yeah i lol'd hard at crotch fruit
6/30/2010 10:24:41 AM
the last thing i want is crotch fruit. but i'm with pshoes, give me a woman that makes close to what i do and we'd be set. as long as she isn't a trainwreck or nutcase
6/30/2010 10:26:10 AM
I've been thinking about that lately. I know I really want kids at some point, but I keep getting happier with my life as it is now, and I don't want that to change for quite a long time.
6/30/2010 10:26:21 AM
y'all should check out some of the forums/websites for people who avoid childrenthey use terms like "crotch fruit" and use "breeders" as a derogatory term for people who have childrenit's interesting to see the whole subculture that existsin the same way, you can check out the websites where people have umpteen kids and call folks w/o children selfish, etc.
6/30/2010 10:27:25 AM
Kids are annoying and I do not like them. Maybe I'd like my own :-\
6/30/2010 10:28:05 AM
i'd be cool with mine until he/she was like 4. then i'd want to ship them off. If it's a boy, he can come back when he's 21 and in college. If it's a girl, since i want to be the gun-toting father, i'll let her come back when she's 16 so i can embarras her and threaten her boyfriends
6/30/2010 10:30:17 AM
I don't like a lot of kids because they're spoiled bitches with no discipline. Mine will not be that way. So I hope I'd like them, but you never can tell.
6/30/2010 10:31:04 AM
i think we're all underestimating the innate rationale that you like your own kids more than any others
6/30/2010 10:31:46 AM
^^ that's what you get when you have the parents these days that want to be friends with their children, and not their parentf that shit ]
6/30/2010 10:32:08 AM
IF I HAVE KIDS I WILL BEAT THEM EVERYDAY TO SHOW THEM WHO'S BOSS.
6/30/2010 10:32:32 AM
^^ I just don't get why like 98 percent of parents feel that way now.
6/30/2010 10:33:16 AM
i'mma make a list-shower-install filter for fridge-go buy fuel filter-go to sheriff's office-go fill out auto draft form for electric bill (why the fuck can't you do this electronically online???? fuck you PEMC)-install fuel filter/fix mower-budget
6/30/2010 10:34:10 AM
^^ i don't either... my sisters aren't like that thank god. i'd call em out on that shit if they were although one of my sister's friends is like that - and the child is vicious. at her bday party, she started attacking my niece, pulling at her eyes stuff like that.... her punishment was a calming voice asking her not to do that. wtf is that ?! ]
6/30/2010 10:34:13 AM
I feel like you need to have a healthy balance with your kid. Don't be their bff, but be someone they can talk to. I would consider my mom one of my closest friends BUT at the same time, I'm scared shitless of her and she's still my mom above all
6/30/2010 10:35:55 AM
google not working for anyone else?
6/30/2010 10:37:31 AM
Yeah, you def don't have to rule with an iron fist, just don't be one of those parents who is like "stop jumping on your brother, pretty please" without a hint of firmness.
6/30/2010 10:41:24 AM
i feel like my childhood progressed pretty normally with my parents (esp my mom). or at least what i'd consider normal.as a kid...yay mommy loves me! except when i'm bad then she is very scaryyyyyyyyy. so i try not to be bad cause she's too scary and i know i will be punished. and there are chores regardless of my behavior.teenager...mom/teenage daughter butting heads and me doing things to purposefully piss her off and then getting in trouble and me being like "I HATE YOU"late high school through college...definitely more of a friendship (still got in trouble for things - mostly not managing money well). which i feel is normal. the older you get the more your parents become your friends. they're always your parents, though.i don't understand either the parents that try to befriend their 6 year old kid. i agree - balance is important though because even when my mom and i were going through our teenage daughter/mother relationship, i knew i could always talk to her about ANYTHING. so even though she would punish me and we fought about boys, clothes, going out, etc, etc i still knew that she was there for me. and if a parent is TOO much of a disciplinarian or too harsh the kid might not feel comfortable coming to them....which can lead to horrible situations.
6/30/2010 10:42:21 AM
facebook drama cows.LOL
6/30/2010 10:42:30 AM

6/30/2010 10:57:16 AM
haha. yea my mom was definitely a pull the mini van over on the side of the road type womantrust me you did NOT want to see that threat followed through
6/30/2010 10:57:37 AM
hahaha, that is hilarious. My mom is like that in theory, I think, but I guess I was just a really well-behaved kid because I don't remember it ever actually happening.
6/30/2010 10:57:57 AM
She always asked me, "Do we need to go the bathroom?" and gave me the Scorpio death stareThat meant business. I usually was asked this question after hiding in clothes racks for a long time.
6/30/2010 10:58:29 AM
my mom kept a wooden spoon in the mini vanyou could thwack some legs without having to pull overlol
^ hahaha yes.. my mom/her bff shared "the ugly girl paddle"... it was this wooden little girl paddle thing she got at Russel's in Swansboro. It went with Ms. Kris when they moved to AZ.. word on the street is, Kyle got it many times on that cross country trip
6/30/2010 10:59:18 AM
^^ hahahamy mom also liked to grab my arm and dig her fingernails in if i was being bad in publicouchies i also got my mouth washed out with soap more than once. i just wasn't good with "because i said so" as an answer to why i couldn't so something. so i'd be like why? but WHY? BUT WHYYYYYY??in high school it was really awesome when she'd tutor me in math. i suck at math. and she was a math teacher. so we'd sit there for hours and she'd be like "FOIL!!!!!!!!!! WHY DONT YOU UNDERSTANDDDDDDD"but everyone else thought she was the nicest tutor ever. little did they know the math wrath.[Edited on June 30, 2010 at 11:01 AM. Reason : .]
6/30/2010 11:01:12 AM
My parents had a wooden paddle that had "attitude adjustment" written on it
6/30/2010 11:01:45 AM
we had a wooden paddle over the chalkboards at our schools....they were used.. no doubt
6/30/2010 11:03:28 AM
ohhhh. i didn't have that in school. and my parents didn't have one. i just got good old hand to ass spankings.my mom still tried to spank me when i was like 11 and 12that is when i started plunging full force into my overdramatic teenage years and would threaten to call child services [Edited on June 30, 2010 at 11:05 AM. 6/30/2010 11:04:57 AM
My parents would use a wooden spoon. My mom also threatened with a count (1...2...3), and if she got to three we would get smacked if we didn't stop by then. She still uses the count these days
