i was fightin a hunter in melee range and somehow he shot me with concussive shot...i woulda thought it was someone else doing it but he was the only alliance hunter in the game....like i was literally hitting him...i thought there was a min range on that
3/2/2006 10:08:00 AM
he hit you with something else...forget what its called though
3/2/2006 10:15:22 AM
^^ you might be thinking of scatter shot
3/2/2006 10:27:48 AM
yeah... scatter shot will confuse you for 4 seconds, rather than just dazing you...the other possibility (if you were slowed) is that he used wing clip in conjuction with the scatter shot so that it seemed like the concussive shot instead
3/2/2006 10:33:29 AM
They ought to kill/restrict your vision when you are "confused"
3/2/2006 1:24:52 PM
3/2/2006 3:17:20 PM
no..it was definately concussive shotcause imp. concussive shot appeared too..not wing clip or anything like that
3/2/2006 3:18:27 PM
^^^ They should use the effect from when you're drunk.
3/2/2006 3:20:51 PM
3/2/2006 4:22:11 PM
so is it just me or does 1.10 look like a complete waste of my waiting time.
3/2/2006 5:20:43 PM
weather effect, priest revamp, tier 0.5 armor sets... doesn't seem too bad
3/2/2006 5:33:01 PM
has 1.10 been released to prod yet?
3/2/2006 5:33:50 PM
1.10 has a lot of stuff in it actually for not releasing new dungeons or areas or anything.i cant wait for weather effects
3/2/2006 5:54:56 PM
An I the only one who thinks the weather effects will be stupid? That is unless I can port the WoW geometry into MM5.
3/2/2006 7:33:29 PM
well ive been wanting weather effects since beta. i really cant wait. just think about being the barrens and having a thunderstorm randomly..so much more realistic. we'll wait and see how good it is
3/2/2006 7:42:57 PM
3/2/2006 8:23:27 PM
weather is retarded. i hope there's a way to disable it.
3/2/2006 9:18:54 PM
DKP - Dragon Killing Points (a system used in Everquest and adapted for end-game raids in WoW for distobution of loot)Can someone explain this a bit further?
3/2/2006 9:22:40 PM
http://www.eqdkp.com
3/2/2006 9:27:02 PM
^^ dkp is a way to reward people for raiding more often. simply put, you get points for going on raids and killing bosses, and then you can spend those points to get the loot they drop. the more raids you go on, the more dkp you get, thus allowing you to spend it to get more loot.
3/3/2006 2:50:09 AM

3/3/2006 4:55:08 AM
how can you say weather is retarded? The point of the game is to immerse you into a living breathing worldand a world that never has rain or snow or anything is retarded, not one that does.I just hope that the weather changes, and that its not always raining in the wetlands and always snowing in winterspring.
3/3/2006 8:33:43 AM
how is Bee a Honey still around? [Edited on March 3, 2006 at 8:38 AM. Reason : ssclark: someone in aftermath goes to ncsu?]

^^ as interesting as that all was, why didn't you just post a link to it?^^^ what do you mean how is bee a honey still around? we are on nefarian now. there was a point where they didn't have enough people to do real razorgore attempts and that was right before they started picking up new people and when rotoryracer got me in.]
3/3/2006 8:50:28 AM
I always thought that guild broke up back when there was the raiding drama with LoB and all of the members that were any good tried to get into LoB.
3/3/2006 8:55:37 AM
ok i finally got my trial working again. and i have 1 day left on it. havent played since like last weekend i think. you guys think theres any way they would verify that and extend it for me, or do they really not care
3/3/2006 9:00:12 AM
Pretty sure they won't care.[Edited on March 3, 2006 at 9:07 AM. Reason : could be worth calling though if you have nothing better to do]
3/3/2006 9:07:08 AM
I wasn't actually a part of BaH when that drama was occuring but as I understand it some shit went down the LoB and BaH decided to cease their joint raiding venture. While a lot of the more geared people stayed in or moved to LoB, BaH went on a recruiting spree and filled the spots needed to start running MC again. While they were still trying to get BWL going is when I joined up. I've been there for every new boss kill in MC except for the recent Chromaggus kill (which makes me sad because the BF spaulders dropped). Also, unrelated to BaH or guild drama I found a link to this gem on penny-arcade's main page.
3/3/2006 9:14:23 AM
ah fuck em. i was considering buying the game until i had so much trouble. my dude was swimming when it crashed. so fucker is dead now. and i gotta go get his stupid ass.
3/3/2006 9:22:50 AM
that happens once in a blue moon, if its too far away just spirit rez.
3/3/2006 9:26:15 AM
you may want to go to http://www.worldofwarcraft.com and check out their tech support forums. It sounds like you are having issues that have been well documented there.
3/3/2006 9:29:31 AM
anyone heard any rumors that youll be able to buy houses in the expansion?[Edited on March 3, 2006 at 10:36 AM. Reason : all those 'easter eggs' are just little programmers giving a shout out to shit they like]]
3/3/2006 10:34:19 AM
never heard of houseshope they dont impliment that
3/3/2006 10:38:00 AM
I wouldn't bet on player housing just yet. It would all have to be instanced on a different server and blizzard has made no indication that they're planning on going down that route.I would like to see player housing simply because it would add to the immersion of an already pretty rich game but I'd like blizzard to concentrate more on improving guild management tools and implementing some sort of outdoor pvp.The one thing that I like about Blizzard above all other MMO companies is that despite their utter coding incompetence and inability to balance anything before an expansion, they constantly work to improve their games. Thats a very important trait as it keeps the game world dynamic and fun.
3/3/2006 10:49:21 AM
As part of the quest to turn Ras Frostwhisper human, I found a ghost NPC at Scholomance named Joseph Dirte. His profession? Waste management. Only 2 more pieces of Lightforge gear left...
3/3/2006 10:51:27 AM
3/3/2006 10:56:46 AM
i dont understand how they can leave some of the shit broken for so long, even if they say they are aware of it.invisible mobs that target you and you cant find: 'path problem, we're aware'and my favorite was whatever quest it was in TM that needs spidor ichor and bear tounges. I killed over 70 spiders and never got an ichor till like #75.That is just stupidity on their part.
3/3/2006 10:57:11 AM
3/3/2006 11:38:55 AM
They would have to make houses so expensive that a guild could afford like one or two.And then houses would be useless.Save for Epeen.
3/3/2006 11:41:27 AM
exactly. ppl would think it was cool for like the first week it was out then once the 'newness' wore off they would probably be forgotten
3/3/2006 11:50:00 AM
Well what would be cool would be guild halls, places that were like a small castle with a tavern or something and your own banker that you could store all the guild "bank" stuff in.
3/3/2006 12:45:12 PM
didnt they have taht un UO? i forget
3/3/2006 12:48:36 PM
I call the mountain east of xroads. gonna set my hut up next to that weapon guy up there.
3/3/2006 12:57:23 PM
they have guild halls in most major mmo's... save wow
3/3/2006 1:33:28 PM
