I'd be surprised if Bam comes back honestly at this point. He's definitely gonna make a roster as a depth RB/returner and it's probably a mid-round pick because of his special teams play.

That and the extremely limited shelf life of NFL RBs means he should get paid while he can.

Yeah I think you’re probably right. I feel similarly about Thayer (obvs not a RB)…if he’s draftable I would imagine he goes. Can he improve his stock by coming back? He kinda is what he is at this point.

Definitely expect Carter back. He’s got a lotta great physical attributes but seems like he could really benefit from a year of being the main guy

Oh yeah i know they walked. Thomas has been here 5 years already and Carter 4, so it's not like the coaching staff hasn't recruited to fill those holes. I'd be a little surprised if Thomas came back. He seems to fit the mold of what a lot of NFL teams are looking for right now. Being a multisport athlete also helps in the eyes of scouts. Carter would be a little bit of a shock if he left, but you never know. Maybe he's ready for a change. Don't really think he's shown enough to get a draftable grade from the NFL.

I think there's some interesting depth behind them. Guys like Lesane, Rooks, Anthony Smith and the top rated recruit from the 2021 class Micah Crowell who redshirted this year.

DE Terrell Dawkins is entering the transfer portal. Now that the bowl is over I think a few more guys will announce they’re transferring or going to the draft. I can’t remember how many over the limit we are…but we still need to get our scholarship number down by a handful

I think he probably could’ve been a late round pick. Especially with his special teams experience. He’s not a future pro bowler but he’s probably gonna wind up on an nfl roster. And he’s been here 4 years so it wasn’t a given that he would be back.

I think if he would’ve gone pro it would’ve been a case of him thinking he would be unable to improve his draft stock so he should go ahead and pursue it now.

Thayer has been at State 5 years my dudes. Really surprised he chose to come back. He's 3rd all time at State in TD receptions I think.

He also has been drafted in the MLB draft, he's got potential options. I know he gets the Renfrow comparison all the time, but that is easily what he could be. Best hands on the team, honestly not enough throws this year. He should be the #1 over Carter.
