I guess I shouldn't mock this. If I had a family member there at risk of being gunned down in a random incident, I'd be happy someone put a stop to it, but the whole situation in this country is so ridiculous and hyperbolic that this still seems kind of funny to me. These "good guy" heroic acts shouldn't be necessary or the default way of addressing systemic problems with our culture.
