Do we think after watching today (if you didn't already think this after the last 5+ seasons) that maybe, just maybe, the rules have swung a little too far in favor of the passing game?

I think they should allow holding on the lines but remain vigilant about contact/holding on receivers or 5 yds past the line

bring back the run game!

take Rodgers out of the game, take the Packers out of the game (although Lacy looks like a badass, I'm shocked he has so few yards/carries based on what I've seen)

the Jets ran this awful ass trick play, and our boy TJ Graham was part of it.

the whole AFC is on a roll

Pats, Bills, Dolphins, Bengals, Ravens, Steelers, Browns, Colts, Texans, Broncos, Chiefs, Chargers are all within 2 games of each other (Pats about to be +1)

I can confirm that the Texans are, in fact, not within 2 games of the Pats or Broncos

Texans entered the day 2.5 GB of the Broncos

Maybe you meant all those teams were within 2 wins of each other at the start of the day? Or maybe you're just trying to force the Texans into a group they don't belong

^^^ could it have something to do with the fact his current QB is a future first ballot HOFer and not a completely selfish headcase?

LaFell still goes down as a top-5 Panther receiver of all time. 5th in TDs, 6th in yards, 5th in receptions

top 5 Panthers receiver of all time isn't saying much, especially when a rookie will pass him by next season

Marcus Lattimores retirement will hopefully put an end to the idiotic "why take a few thousand dollars while in college when you're going to make millions in the NFL?" line we heard during the Todd Gurley situation.

^^ Two completely unrelated situations. Lattimore is a prime example of why you should go pro ASAP if you have decent draft potential and why you should take out the exceptional athlete injury insurance the NCAA offers if it is available to you (by the way, there's absolutely no reason that the school shouldn't be paying for this instead of the player). Gurley's case is just another example of how corrupt and unfair the "student athlete" model is.

I feel bad for Lattimore, and I hope he had insurance during college that he was able to cash in, because he clearly was a top 10 pick up until that first injury.

Uh oh, looks like the lost to the Pats might have broken Peyton Manning and the Broncos a little bit. 2 first quarter picks and down 10-6.

I don't expect this to last, but it sure is nice to see as KC fan.

I wasn't comparing their situations at all. just pointing out the flawed logic of the "he'll make millions as a pro" line

If Rivers has no pass protection and no DBs on his team, they aren't going to win, it's pretty simple.

Packers are trying super hard not to run up the score on the Eagles right now. Doesn't help that hey have a defensive and special teams score to go along with the way the offense is humming.

They've going to have to try very hard to avoid breaking 50.
