and akron wasnt

Way too close to tell, which is why it should have been ruled a TD on the field and then tossed up to the replay officials. Where it would have been overturned anyway because NC State shit.

IF, and its a big IF, we didn't have shitty ACC refs, we could win games like this.also,
9/20/2013 12:20:41 PM
Damn Underwood has some speed
9/20/2013 12:25:16 PM
At least we can all rest assured that Clemson will get their shit pushed in against any "decent" team
9/20/2013 12:43:43 PM
Lol[Edited on September 20, 2013 at 12:49 PM. Reason : D]
9/20/2013 12:49:04 PM
the Tigers are just better than the Mariners
9/20/2013 12:51:10 PM
It kind of infuriates me that people are saying the touchdown wouldn't have changed the outcomeI'm pretty sure a 14 point swing would have lead to a significantly different outcome
9/20/2013 12:56:30 PM
It obviously would have led to a different outcome, but that doesn't automatically equal a win by State
9/20/2013 1:01:10 PM
true, but it certainly could have
9/20/2013 1:04:31 PM
Yup. But you give me Clemson down 1 with that amount of time remaining and I'm picking them every time
9/20/2013 1:06:24 PM
shame we didn't get to see that possibility.i don't blame the refs last night too much. i blame the college football replay rules.
9/20/2013 1:08:15 PM
yeah, annoying as hell
9/20/2013 1:26:52 PM
i blame the ref for making that call when he could have easily let it go to replay by not making it
9/20/2013 1:32:02 PM
9/20/2013 1:35:30 PM
^ I'm not new to this son! I took all that into account, I would STILL take Clemson every time with that much time left. If the Underwood play was made with like 2 minutes left I would probably take State
9/20/2013 1:37:58 PM
Why in the world would something like that not be worthy of a challenge? I understand the dead ball thing, but common sense should prevail. Fucking officials/refs/umpires fucking up sports pisses me off more than teams/players cheating.[Edited on September 20, 2013 at 1:39 PM. Reason : ^ we get it, you think State sucks. Stop posting.]

^^ what? once again your inability to be objective. You can never ever ever grasp that there is a difference between what you THINK will happen vs. what you WANT to happen.^ haha, poor kid[Edited on September 20, 2013 at 1:41 PM. Reason : d]

thanks for coming out and supporting the team, Jaybee!

9/20/2013 1:48:38 PM
9/20/2013 1:49:27 PM
lol, out of three options1. clemson wins2. state wins3. end in a tie and neither team winsI would take #1 most of the time, and I think most people would too. Not saying I wouldnt want #2 to happen, but its not what I would think would happen if you played the game an infinite amount of times and summed all the results. But thats the good thing about sports, you actually play the games out (see Giants over the Patriots).[Edited on September 20, 2013 at 1:52 PM. Reason : d]
9/20/2013 1:51:26 PM
You unobjective motherfuckers don't understand that objectively watching games is objectively speaking the only truly objective way of being objective about objectivity. Go vols. I mean objectivity.
9/20/2013 1:51:56 PM
I swear you people need me to just have someone to bitch at... I have been totally behind State in this thread and you STILL drag it out to some weird anti-State thing

I am a fan as well...let me put it this way.If I were to buy a lottery ticket, I would HOPE that I would win, I would CHEER for me to win, but that doesnt mean I THINK I would win.

I dont know what you are "what-ing"... its pretty straight forward. And the prediction thread proves my point, so no idea what you are arguing. And I know how football games work. Are you a girl or just trolling?

9/20/2013 2:42:47 PM
NC State: Where fat white guys take off their shirts at football games. That should probably be our new slogan. As for jibbles, yes Clemson probably still wins that game, but it sucks serious dick that we did not get to see that last 1.5 quarters play out like they should have. Imagine how awesome the atmosphere would have been if the game was within one possession at the end. Fucking bullshit refs and bullshit review rules.
9/20/2013 2:51:07 PM
Looks like he stepped out, am I missing something else here?
9/20/2013 2:53:12 PM
^yeah, just the 3 other angles that show him in bounds. But other than that you've got the whole thing covered.
9/20/2013 2:54:41 PM
^^i can't even tell if that's a footlooks like all the kids were trying to rub the red paint off for some reason. looks itchy.
9/20/2013 2:58:26 PM
That really looks like the shadow of his foot is out. His shoes and soles are white. The other angles confirm he was in. The ref who made the out of bounds call should be suspended.
9/20/2013 2:58:58 PM
So we're gonna pretend this pretty obvious angle showing he was out doesn't exist then so we can play the What If game?I'll pass on being a part of that
9/20/2013 2:59:26 PM
Removing my re glasses, the above pic looks doubtful if you've watched the video of the other angles. It does nota dd up
9/20/2013 3:01:06 PM
^^Then leave. Wouldn't want our discussion to pull you down, bud.
9/20/2013 3:07:07 PM
It really doesn't matter what angle we look at it... There were two guys on the field dressed in black and white stripes that were in position to make the call. One of them was 15 yards in front of the runner and the other was 15 yards behind the runner. One had a direct view of the runners feet and was looking at them while the other one was having to try to look around two players. The one with the direct view called it a touchdown while the one who's view was a blocked call it out of bounds. That is my issue with it.Freeze the deadspin video at :59 and tell me which ref (if any) should have called him OOB[Edited on September 20, 2013 at 3:21 PM. Reason : Oob]
