fuck yeah, going against Rice so i'm down about 21 points right now but have Riversi love when matchups come down to the final monday night game
9/10/2012 9:45:50 PM
I was down .67 and had Rice left The two TE formation worked well this week
9/10/2012 9:47:04 PM
Hernandez should've had a 2nd TD as well, but Brady only completed 11 of his 12 targets to his tight endsi still have no regrets about drafting Gronk 18th overall
9/10/2012 9:49:55 PM
and I love that Welker was targeted so few times
9/10/2012 9:51:09 PM
yep, i was going up against Welkerits gonna be difficult for me to not play Gronk, Lloyd and Ridley every week
9/10/2012 9:52:07 PM
why wouldnt you? fucking goldmine
9/10/2012 9:56:45 PM
Gronk is a no-brainer, Lloyd was the 2nd WR I drafted, but some weeks I might have to play somebody else at flex, if the Pats are going up against a stout run defense...I have guys like Bowe, Britt and Torrey Smith to consider based on matchups
9/10/2012 9:58:57 PM
I'm in this atlanta engineering industry networking league, with fucking stupid rulesno points per carry1.5 per reception4 points for passing TD and rushing TDs, 6 for receivingflex is WR/RB/TE and there are 3 of them in addition to two WR and two RBI just loaded up on WRs and they were all like "whoooa what are you doing? dont you know you are supposed to take RBs!?!Torrey Smith is my 7th WR hhaha. I doubled up my opponent this week
9/10/2012 10:09:57 PM
yeah with that scoring system rb's and wr's are basically equal and obviously there is significantly more depth at WR than RB.
9/10/2012 10:17:15 PM
Any advice on under the radar WR or TE that might be available in leagues? I'm not convinced I have a good stable of WRs.
9/10/2012 11:25:34 PM
Flacco looking good on the waiver wire -- certainly better than Wilson.
9/10/2012 11:55:20 PM
he's not already taken?10 team league?
9/10/2012 11:56:25 PM
probably 8-team
9/11/2012 12:00:58 AM
12 team. lots of skins fans
9/11/2012 12:05:57 AM
Losing week 1 by 1.2 points bc of garbage yards from the Law Firm when I had Torrey Smith and Antonio Gates still to go... I'm already over fantasy again.
9/11/2012 6:58:52 AM
needed 6 from kaedinggot 18
9/11/2012 7:36:41 AM
^ Lulz. I have Kaeding and Rivers. Was pissed when Rivers couldn't throw more TDs, but I too, got 18 from my kicker. If not for the negative points put up by the pathetic Bill's D, I would have run away with the high score this week. Dropped Jonathan Stewart and picked up Lafell and switched my D.
9/11/2012 7:50:06 AM
was just offered this trade;I give - Randall CobbI get - Michael Turner and Brandon Lafellseems like a no-brainer, but we get points for return yards and Cobb has been used as a RB and WR on top of his return role.My other RBs are Doug Martin, Ryan Mathews, Benjarvus, David Wilson, Roy HeluMy other WRs are Julio, Maclin, Torrey Smith, Kenny Britt, Kendall Wright
9/11/2012 8:22:28 AM
i like the yahoo recaps, especially when yahoo is all like "your rbs underperformed :-/ "
9/11/2012 9:07:11 AM
Looking for a new backup.Trying to decide between Ponder, Gabbert, and Bradford.
9/11/2012 10:17:01 AM
I would avoid Gabbert. Toss-up between the next two.
9/11/2012 10:18:36 AM
I was already leaning towards Ponder. Hopefully a healthy Peterson opens up their passing game.
9/11/2012 10:23:37 AM
should I drop Detroit defense and pick up Oakland?
9/11/2012 12:20:13 PM
I think Detroit has better promise long-term, but the Raiders have some good short-term matchups (like against Miami this week).
9/11/2012 12:28:06 PM
Should I believe in the Bills D and hope this week was just a fluke or go ahead and pick up the Broncos D?Von Miller looked like the real deal and they should be getting some rest with Peyton in there
9/11/2012 2:12:02 PM
hey dickheads, answer my question
9/11/2012 2:39:16 PM
I mean...I think your running backs suck, but I don't know how much Turner is going to help that since he's on the decline. So I would probably keep Cobb as your flex guy instead of using one of your shitty backs. And your WRs are all equal to or better than Lafell. So I would not do the trade.

I've always liked to hold onto a high waiver priority if there are no players that I absolutely have to have that week. In the past I've just picked up who I wanted as soon as they move to FA at like 3 am. This is my first year playing in Yahoo and NFL, so does anyone know the exact time that not claimed players move from Waivers to FA?[Edited on September 11, 2012 at 3:25 PM. Reason : V all the leagues that I've played in except 1 allows you to hang onto your priority.]
9/11/2012 3:11:04 PM
what kind of league doesn't reset waiver priorities each week?
9/11/2012 3:13:01 PM
Most legit ones. Why reward the bad teams?
9/11/2012 3:25:59 PM

Different leagues for different people. So does anyone know the exact time that not claimed players move from Waivers to FA (on Yahoo and NFL)?
9/11/2012 3:33:26 PM
9/11/2012 3:49:20 PM
yea, i just didn't want to be a part of Overeaction Monday... or in this case, Tuesday.

pick 3. non ppr leaguegreg jennings vs chijeremy maclin vs balDanny Amendola vs waslance moore vs carmike williams vs nygalshon jeffrey vs gbdexter mcluster vs bufIn my other league, I have doug martin and darren mcfadden....is it too early to trust a WA running back as I have alfred morris on my bench or should i trade him on the high? or just let him sit on my bench?I also have Heyward-bey vs Miami coming up...Should i start him or leave Torrey Smith in vs Phi at my flex?
9/11/2012 4:51:20 PM
Jennings, Maclin, Moore[Edited on September 11, 2012 at 5:07 PM. Reason : leave Torrey Smith in]
9/11/2012 5:07:30 PM
Drop Bears D for Raiders (vs. Dolphins) or Bengals (vs. Browns)? 8 team league, so good chance there will always be a pretty decent D available
9/11/2012 5:15:43 PM
^^ lol 2 of the 3 probably wont play in week 2[Edited on September 11, 2012 at 5:19 PM. Reason : f]
9/11/2012 5:18:23 PM
Jennings is hurt and is playing the bears. There's no way I would start him over Mike Williams and that porous Giants secondary.
9/11/2012 6:19:05 PM
9/11/2012 6:33:26 PM
For you folks with FAAB, what's the typical cost to pick up a hot player off of waivers?[Edited on September 11, 2012 at 11:27 PM. Reason : $100 budget]
9/11/2012 11:27:10 PM
Depends. I've seen backup QBs go for as much as $65 when a starter goes out, granted in that 12 team league we start 2 QBs, but I've also seen RBs go for 25-30. For an out of nowhere WR this early in the season I would expect 12-15 should take it.
9/11/2012 11:47:23 PM
First of all, Jennings can break his leg, and still score a touchdown. He just has so much determination.Second of all, that yahoo recap thing is pretty baller.
9/12/2012 1:35:39 AM
Sometimes you randomly wake up to pee 2 minutes after waivers clear. Thanks for smiling on me, fantasy gods.
9/12/2012 4:44:37 AM
Can you guys give me your opinion of fucking Wes Welker?Should I bail and get whatever trade value I can out of him while I have a chance, or is just a part of Belicheck's crazy scheme and that means that Welker will get 15 targets next game just to fuck with opposing D's?
9/12/2012 10:22:28 AM
I have Welker too, can't bail on him after 1 week IMO, especially if you're in a PPR league. If a standard league and he underperforms again, maybe you can consider trading him after this week.
9/12/2012 10:24:26 AM
Never trade after a poor game. If you're really worried, wait until he has a good outing, then put out some offers.
9/12/2012 10:53:13 AM
Stevie Johnson vs. KC or Danny Amendola vs. Washington?
