lots of 'scenes from the next episode' (and i still don't know why you're giving Dexter pointers in the BB thread) are misleading anywayfor example, as I talk about Dexter in the Breaking Bad thread, one of the 'scenes from the next' a few weeks ago showed Quinn telling Dexter "I know what you're doing" or something, as Dexter was in his kill shirt...but when you actually watch the episode, Quinn has no idea what Dexter is actually doingI don't post spoilers from the 'scenes from the next' segments, but I'm going to continue to watch them

^ Yeah... I've seen it a bunch. And I'm aware of it. So what? How does him having suspected Huell of stealing it and now knowing that Huell can pick his pocket make it DEFINITELY the case that Huell took the cigarette? That incorrect argument would look like this:I think Ernie stole from me 6 months agoErnie stole from me todayTherefore, Ernie definitely stole from me 6 months ago.And that doesn't actually add up. It's not a valid argument. Right? If I suspect you of stealing from me and then 6 months later you definitely steal from me, that does not prove that you stole from me that time 6 months ago. It may strengthen my suspicions that it was you who stole from me before, but it does not conclusively add up to "Ernie definitely stole from me 6 months ago".That is the same scenario we're talking about. The fact that I couldn't definitively conclude that you stole from me 6 months ago is just as true for Jesse not being able to conclude that Huell stole the cigarette previously just because he stole from him now.So there are two possibilities at that point:1) While it was not conclusive, it strengthened Jesse's suspicions so much that he wanted to go question Saul about it2) Jesse concluded that Saul/Huell stole the cigarette using invalid logic. It is possible to come to the correct conclusion for the wrong reasons.I believe the first option is what occurred. it increased his suspicion/hunch and gave him reason to question Saul. The reason is that because knowing that Saul/Huell stole the ricin cigarette is all you need to know in order to use the old information to conclude that Walt was behind the poisoning. If you know they stole the cigarette for a fact (or at least believe you do) then you have all of the information necessary to (validly) conclude that Walt poisoned Brock. ---I'll explain it if you'd like, it "adds up" very nicely. And if he could have done that at the time he was on the side of the road, he would have went straight to Walt's. There would have been no need to go to Saul's. He went to Saul's to CONFIRM his strengthened suspicions/hunch. He was pissed with Saul, but not like he was with Walt. Walt was the end goal there. He just needed Saul to confirm that the piece that ultimately led to the valid conclusion that Walt poisoned Brock was actually true. If they didn't steal the cigarette, then the argument completely falls apart (even though the conclusion is correct).Get what I'm saying? I'm not saying that the whole thing doesn't add up. I'm just saying that the side of the road/cigarette thing makes perfect sense as a really strong gut feeling based on now knowing for a fact that Huell can pick pockets. It DOES NOT make sense as being a conclusive thing unless the character is just correct for the wrong reasons. And the fact that he went to Saul's for the confirmation supports the notion that he didn't actually know for sure at that point, but just had the very strong suspicion.[Edited on August 27, 2013 at 10:15 PM. only one question that needs to be answered: why is the only black guy on the show an outstanding pick pocket?is he going to be eaten by zombies soon too?
8/27/2013 11:14:53 PM
^^ uh...nope? I get it. I have no need to ask questions about it or talk about it. But the guy brought it up. I could just not respond. But I have a tough time not responding when people say things that aren't right.

To me, Jesse's epiphany was the end result of a giant snowball effect that had been building since the beginning of season 5. He see's Walt completely differently than he did at the end season 4 when Brock was poisoned. He now knows that Walt is totally ok with child murder, to the point that he's happily whistling after discussing it with Jesse and is content working with the guy who did it. He knows (or strongly suspects) that Walt murdered Mike. There was also those 10 people in jail, and just Walt's general sociopathic behavior after Gus was out of the picture. He's downright terrified of the man. The weed being swiped just made him reconsider Brock's poisoning in light of all this new information about Walt.

hurting Walt where he really lives--ideas?Lab? The reputation of his product? The car wash/cover? Maybe exposing him to Walt jr?I'm sure Lydia will play a role in this somehow. Not as an ally but a pawn. Todd is about to cook for her, so maybe jesse will approach her to cook instead? Make one good product and then destroy a batch thus ruining the Heisenberg name and luring him out to cook again?Telling Walt Jr who his dad really is though would crush that last line of humanity and being a family man. That would happen anyway once he's (inevitably by the premiere of part I and II) exposed.'I dunno...probably the lab/ego.[Edited on September 2, 2013 at 10:23 AM. Reason : ]
9/2/2013 10:14:12 AM
i can't imagine he'd go after his family after turning into a little baby over the kid getting poisonedI'd guess on putting out shitty product under heisenberg's name and ruining his legacy?
9/2/2013 10:21:33 AM
Yeah I just edited my comment to suggest the same thing--putting something out under the Heisenberg name. Probably exactly it.It was a slower episode but still a good one. Sad there's only 4 episodes left but also very excited as a lot is about to and has to happen here in just 4 hrs.
9/2/2013 10:25:31 AM
the last show is the family at a diner and they kept looking at the door. Then blackdont get your hope up high.

the name of this week's episode is "To Hajiilee"Tohajiilee is the area of the desert where Jesse and Walt did their first cook, and where Walt buried his money a few weeks agoAnd Vince Gilligan's 'teaser' about the episode said something about Lydia learning about farm-grown salmon...whatever the fuck that is supposed to imply
9/2/2013 3:37:06 PM
maybe she takes a trip to belize with old yeller to learn about farm-grown salmon

9/2/2013 11:36:43 PM
^^I hesitated to post what I did, but didn't think anything was too potentially-spoilerish
9/2/2013 11:50:38 PM
^^ I was actually surprised to see Walt Jr. talk as he does in the show. For some odd reason, I thought he was acting on that too.
9/7/2013 2:56:19 PM
i don't think jessie's revenge is going to have anything to do with cooking shitty product. the white guys were already coloring their meth blue and nobody thought it was the real deal. furthermore, i don't see hank setting up a lab for jessie and allowing him to cook.my guess is on walt's money, although i don't think jessie has any idea where it is.
9/7/2013 4:21:07 PM
Maybe Jesse means he's going to go BACK to Walt's house? I dunno. But in the flash-forward from the season premiere, 'Heisenberg' is painted on the wall of his house. So that has to happen at some point, by someone.
9/7/2013 6:04:30 PM
well yeah he clearly gets outed in some capacity based on his neighbor's terrified reaction to his presence
9/7/2013 6:53:12 PM
are far into this season do you guys think it will be before what happened to his house happens?I can't imagine that the intro to the season is going to be the end of the show. Although, who knows really. Assuming that's not the very end of the show (let's say that's actually the beginning of the last episode/end of the second to last), it seemed like the house had been vacant for some time. So I'd expect him to be outed sooner than later unless they do some "x months later" stuff.
9/7/2013 10:08:26 PM
Yea. I think the flash-forwards which wont really be flashfowards at this point will be the entire series finale.
9/8/2013 11:30:56 AM

What happened between Todd answering the call from Walt (post color not being blue) and Walt actually sitting down with Todd's uncle? Probably missed 3-5 min. Our DVR froze and we had to reboot.

Hank grilled Huell about Walt's money, found out about the van Walt used.
