I'm quite excited to see what kind of ability Underwood has. The only WR I'm more excited about is Palmer. Underwood is supposedly very fast (legit 4.4, has been clocked in 4.3 before too). He had a nice collection of offers coming out of high school too (Michigan, Michigan State, WVU, Louisville, UNC, BC, Cincinnati, Colorado, Kansas, Pitt, Indiana, Texas Tech).

Zach Allen is proof that our coaches have an eye for talent and can develop that talent, particularly on the offensive line. Much like when they were at Boston College, the staff finds hidden gems that are lightly recruited. The only difference is that at NC State they also have legitimate shots at picking up 4 and 5 star talent every class. Allen's only other BCS offer was from USF. He also had offers from Middle Tennessee State, Troy, and UAB. Rivals rated him as only a 2* player. That 2* player, who has developed quite nicely over the past couple of seasons, will be one of the anchors of an offensive line out to prove that they are one of the better O-lines in the ACC now that they have a few seasons under their belt.[Edited on June 23, 2011 at 8:47 PM. # 71, Alex Barr, True Freshman6'7" / 302 lbs., Offensive TackleOriginally committed to Vanderbilt; then switched to NC State in DecemberFrom Auburn's MVP camp last summer:Award: Top Offensive Lineman. Camp Report: Barr stood out the minute he arrived at Auburn because of his size. He towered over most there, but he stood out because of his performance in the drills and one on one session too. He has a chance to be a very good offensive tackle down the road. He still needs to work on his footwork, his balance, and his strength, but he is sound in pass protection and he showed a lot of tools that you look for in a tackle. His future looks to be a bright one.

#69, Thomas Teal, Redshirt Freshman6'2" / 315 lbs., Defensive TackleScout's assessment: Very large body who carries his weight well on a 6-2 frame moves very well for being well over 300 pounds. Well suited to be a nose tackle in a 3-4 defense taking on double-teams on every play without giving up ground. Could do well in a 4-3 where he could attack a single gap with his surprising quickness off the ball. Need to see more consistency with his pad level and overall effort, but the raw tools are there.
