throw away gamefuck Toronto and those refs[Edited on March 29, 2010 at 9:41 PM. Reason : it was all going good until Jack decided to mouth off to the ref]
3/29/2010 9:38:36 PM
2 comments1... you have to win that game. They were lucky to even be in it with the 2 misses at the end.2... what's up with jarred jacks move to draw the foul from 3? i don't see that being called in college. jack had the ball down by the floor with felton having a hand right at the ball. And all of a sudden (with no real intention of making a shot) jack lifts his arms through felton, initiating the contact and going to the line for 3? wtf is that?
3/30/2010 8:06:07 AM
1) agree2) It's a somewhat cheap, yet heady, move by Jack there and lazy defense by Felton. If Felton has his arm straight out and into Jack's body in an attempt to check him, it is real easy to just come up and rake across his arms to get the shooting foul. He shouldn't have fallen for it twice though.Suns play @ the Bulls tonight. We really, really need a PHX win. I'd hate to have it come down to the last game or two for us to secure a playoff spot and then somehow blow it.

lol kapono#72 though?
3/31/2010 8:04:51 PM
huge that the bulls keep losing. now we need to lose enough to get the 8 seed since they cant catch us.
3/31/2010 8:15:22 PM
that's what scott fowler was saying, i cant say i disagree with the thinking
3/31/2010 8:39:42 PM
Clinch # now 5I know we've beat the Cavs a few times and it would be cool to see Lebron in the playoffs, but I'd rather see a team that we can actually beat and advance a little bit.No way the NBA lets Lebron and Co. get beat by the Bobcats in the first round of the playoffs. They need those ratings too much for that to happen.
3/31/2010 10:54:28 PM
We have absolutely no shot against the Magic. We'll lose in 4 or 5 games in dull borderline blowouts.Id rather take a shot at the Cavs. I'm fairly confident the series would go 6-7 games and we'd be competitive night in and night out.I'd rather have a shot at the biggest upset in NBA history than an impossible to win series.Even if we had a chance against Orlando (we don't) you dont think the league wants Orl-Cle again?[Edited on March 31, 2010 at 11:30 PM. Reason : a]
3/31/2010 11:29:50 PM
The Association probably does want Orlando there, but really don't give a fuck as long as Lebron is still in it to drive ratings for them.Don't get me wrong, I'd love to watch a Cavs/Bobcats series but we will not be winning Game 7 if it ever got that far.
3/31/2010 11:39:58 PM
We're currently 2 games back of the Bucks and 1.5 back of the Heat with the clinch # at 5.Crucial 2 games on a back to back coming up tomorrow with the Bucks at home and then @ Chicago Sat. If they have any hope of jumping in that 5th seed to get ATL these are must wins.
4/1/2010 10:35:38 AM
ATL would be such a ho-hum seriesi feel like even the hornets played atlanta in half their playoffs series in the 90s

I love Jennings' game. He's going to be a hell of a player soon than later. The Bobcats are playing alright so far, but Milwaukee seems to get a timely bucket every time we get within one score.[Edited on April 2, 2010 at 8:15 PM. Reason : just realized LB got ejected before I started watching]
4/2/2010 8:09:53 PM
finished the half strong, only down 1 at the break
4/2/2010 8:12:09 PM
Wow gg Bobcats!that had the look and feel of a playoff game and we came out on tophuge win
4/2/2010 9:38:46 PM
Clinch # at 4 right now and would go to 2 with a win in Chicago tonight. In the standings, we're 1 back of the Bucks and 1.5 back of Miami in 5th place currently. The Heat play @ the Wolves tonight, while the Bucks play at home vs PHX. They'll surely be facing a fired up team and crowd in Chicago tonight knowing that this is a must win to keep the Bulls in the playoff hunt. The Bobcats came up big last night minus their head coach, hopefully we can finish this back to back off right.
4/3/2010 5:25:59 PM
fuckin Raymond "throw the ball away in a close game" Felton
4/3/2010 10:06:20 PM
That was basically the turning point after they had fought all the way back and took a decent lead.Dammit
4/3/2010 10:25:10 PM
Hawks coming in tonight sans Joe JohnsonBig opportunity to take this one and inch ever closer to the postseason
4/6/2010 2:40:18 PM

4/6/2010 5:20:18 PM
Apparently, at some point between now and last night TWC completely changed the channels and I can't find the game.
4/6/2010 7:03:01 PM
yea i got somethin in the mail about it a week or two ago. they grouped things by genre. i dont have the list in front of me however, but i'm sure its online somewhere.
4/6/2010 7:06:03 PM
10 points in 2½ minutes, i like it
4/6/2010 7:16:51 PM
The Bobcats can never seem to put teams away when they get a big lead. This game will probably end up going down to the wire despite them having a 23 pt lead at one time.[Edited on April 6, 2010 at 8:53 PM. Reason : ...]
4/6/2010 8:52:30 PM
Bobcats win and a Bulls loss puts the number at 2A win @ NO tomorrow will essentially be the clinch game assuming that the Cavs will beat the Bulls Thursday.
4/6/2010 10:47:21 PM
gotta be careful though. chris paul will punch nuts to make sure that doesnt happen.
4/6/2010 11:55:14 PM
"It felt good because we didn't have to work too hard tonight," said Jackson, who added 15 points despite a variety of injuries. "We didn't have to play for the whole fourth quarter."
4/7/2010 6:23:21 AM
making the playoff odds at 99.96417% according to sportsclubstats93% if they lose all 5 remaining games.
4/7/2010 9:41:03 AM
Can clinch tonight if we win and Toronto loses to Boston
4/7/2010 9:46:32 AM
Toronto would be 4 back with 4 to play if the Bobcats won and they lost tonight. Wouldn't that be a tiebreaker situation instead of clinching an actual playoff spot? Regardless, when the Cavs beat the Bulls Thurs it will be sealed up.This ESPN write up had a great vibe to it. I like how everyone is joking about Boris' near triple double.http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=300406030
4/7/2010 10:50:36 AM
Raptors play the Bulls this weekendSo one of them has to loseSo by winning tonight we get to 42 wins, and only one of TOR/CHI will be capable of reaching 42 themselvesThus, we clinch
4/7/2010 10:51:53 AM
Touche'Good work SF
4/7/2010 10:56:39 AM
Bobcats whoopin' that Hornet ass.
4/7/2010 8:47:22 PM
We made the playoffs by a wide margin. This team deserves a lot of credit for putting up a consistent effort all season long. We had a "normal" amount of injuries but our ownership gave us replacements everytime someone went down.Nazr definitely deserves a lot of credit for stepping up in Tyson Chandler's absence. If we can win out we can face ATL/BOS instead of Orlando. I really hope we do that because it gives us a LEGIT shot at stealing the first round.I will say that 30-9 (with 3 games to go) is the best record I've ever seen by a home team that wasn't a top seed. I hope Jordan is ballsy enough to leave this nucleus together for one more season.
4/7/2010 9:36:30 PM
the meltdown is nearly complete. lead down to 6. jackson likes to just start jackin up terrible shots in situations like this. certainly doesnt help the efforts to calm down the pace.
4/7/2010 9:48:59 PM
up by 1 going into the 4th. awesome work guys.
4/7/2010 9:54:16 PM
I'm not even kidding. I have only seen 10-11 wins over the 6 years I've been watching the Bobcats. I am probably 10-60. Part of this is that I watch much more often when we play real teams and avoid the dwellers.Part of this is that I watched a lot of games our first 5 seasons.Part of this is just unreal bad luck, i cant tell you how many times i tuned in to watch us blow a lead.Tonight I tune in to a 26 pt lead and by the end of the quarter we are up 1.What the fuck, should i watch the playoffs?I had better luck with Kelly Tripucka in 1988. At least we won sometimes
4/7/2010 9:57:11 PM
What a fucking joke, jesus christ guys
4/7/2010 10:06:21 PM
why is felton not in? was he sucking it up earlier?
4/7/2010 10:12:24 PM
everyone has sucked it up. errant passes and poor shot selection have led to fast break after fast break
4/7/2010 10:15:23 PM
That was quite a walk for Collison on that layup to put NO up. Hopefully they can pull it out after this timeout.
