^at least in football they dontthey do in chemistry most of the time

hahahaha the only reason the Colts drive went as long as it did was because of two questionable PI calls on 3rd downs

You're just wrong, giving Indy field position to get a FG to make it a two possession game is entirely more important that the length of SD's drive. Please just stop talking.
11/23/2008 10:54:33 PM
11/23/2008 10:55:17 PM
The bad reffing was entirely on the Colt's drive, so you were talking about the Colt's drive.
11/23/2008 10:56:12 PM
my point was, half of the reason there is only 5:30 left in the game when the chargers tied it is that the Colts were able to have a long drive continued twice by questionable calls
11/23/2008 10:56:57 PM
^^ what? go back and read, you arent making any sense[Edited on November 23, 2008 at 10:57 PM. Reason : d]
11/23/2008 10:57:03 PM
Colts could have challenged if they really thought it was a TD, they obviously didn't. You can't challenge PI or refs blowing the whistle early.
11/23/2008 10:57:39 PM
you act like bad calls don't affect the game at all when they do
11/23/2008 10:57:42 PM
they affect both sides, you overcome. Once again, Rhodes looked in, they said he wasnt. Manning still completed that pass on 4th down. They overcame the "bad call".Its like you people look for a built in excuse for any fucking loss. the Chargers are down 3 with 3 min left, with all their timeouts. If they are a better team, with better effort, better gameplan, they will win. IF they arent, they wont.[Edited on November 23, 2008 at 11:00 PM. Reason : d]
11/23/2008 10:59:44 PM
well, Phil is gonna have 3:15 min. to go for a field goal atleast
11/23/2008 11:00:33 PM
time for patented philip rivers game losing turnover
11/23/2008 11:01:16 PM
Not worth arguing. Three bad calls that keep a drive going is entirely different than the Colts not challenging a challengable play and succeeding on their next try.Chargers succeeded, got screwed, succeeded, got screwed, succeeded got screwed, succeeded and forced a FG.
11/23/2008 11:01:37 PM
I could see a bad call occurring on LITERALLY the very last play of the game "deciding" the game, but a bad call in the 3rd quarter, no.^ ONLY because the colts DID succeed on their next try. If they hadnt, then it would he "huge"... therefore the team effort overcame the bad call[Edited on November 23, 2008 at 11:02 PM. Reason : d]
11/23/2008 11:01:46 PM
you act like its always that simple, fortunately for your fantasy world its that black and white where all you have to do is "overcome", bad calls are advantageous to one side, not always can they be overcome
11/23/2008 11:02:03 PM
a bad call in the 3rd quarter will affect the entire rest of the game
11/23/2008 11:02:37 PM
DAMMIT CHARGERS
11/23/2008 11:03:03 PM
^^^ you act like everything bad only happens to who you cheer for, thats MUCH more of a fantasy world. "waaaa they are so against Rivers! waaaa, for no reason they hate him and make bad calls only against his team, waaa"^^ but teams overcome that, god dammit, you non competitive bitch. Do you want a separate scoreboard to keep track of bad calls to give the poor little team charity points at the end of the game? [Edited on November 23, 2008 at 11:04 PM. Reason : d]
11/23/2008 11:03:25 PM
11/23/2008 11:04:35 PM
what are you talking about, i will submit that the questionable call with Rhodes at the goalline has also affected the game as well, just not nearly as much as drive lengthening penalties
11/23/2008 11:04:59 PM
they happen to both teams, you only notice the ones on your team^ if the Chargers had stopped them after those calls... or if the Colts had not scored on the 4th down[Edited on November 23, 2008 at 11:06 PM. Reason : d]
11/23/2008 11:05:18 PM
The problem is I don't even believe that you're right about Rhodes being in because Indy didn't challenge it.^They DID stop them after the calls, there were THREE bad calls.[Edited on November 23, 2008 at 11:06 PM. Reason : etc]
11/23/2008 11:06:22 PM
comeon man, the personal attack was unneccesary, note that I haven't used the calls as an excuse rather I've only said that they affected the game, you're acting like they don't
11/23/2008 11:06:25 PM
haha phil is so damn slow
11/23/2008 11:07:46 PM
Jaybee1200: All Penalties are equalEveryone Else: Some Penalties are more equal than others
11/23/2008 11:08:06 PM
Jaybee, do you think that the game would turnout the same way if the first PI call was not made and the Colts faced 4th down?
11/23/2008 11:08:07 PM
^^^^^ there are lots of reasons not to challenge a play. if they totally stopped them then you have nothing to complain about because they didnt affect the game then...cant have it both ways^we have no idea, do you realize HOW many plays have been since then? Tomlinson just dropped that catch,. that was huge, as big as any penalty. THAT right there is exactly what I am talking about[Edited on November 23, 2008 at 11:09 PM. Reason : d]
11/23/2008 11:08:29 PM

11/23/2008 11:10:17 PM

all the calls, good and bad, all game, it comes down to tie game, 1:26 left, can the defense stop the offense, THIS is what decides the game
