^ Whatever, dude. This race just turned upside down and you can't even see it.

its funny to see all the people who are quick to pull the race card now show how sexist they are...arent the Dems supposed to be the tolerant party?]

its funny to see all the people who pulled the experience card now show how much they care about new blood

I honestly think the best choice McCain could have made would have been Lieberman. (Note: I hate Lieberman.) This would have shown he was trying to pull a (kinda) bipartisan ticket and was going for experienced statesmen at the same time. I think lieberman would have pissed off a lot of the base, but they would have still voted for him, I think it would draw more moderates in at the same time. This will be interesting to see, but I don't think it is a good choice for him. I think his campaign is too invested in gimmicks and it will eventually fail/backfire.

So first McCain marries a beauty queen after ditching his first wife. Now he has a beauty queen on the ticket for VP. He's not trying to get elected..... he's trying to get LAID!

8/29/2008 6:45:09 PM
Except McCain isn't behind? Hell, if anything McCain is in a much better position right now than most everyone expected.
8/29/2008 6:46:41 PM
true. because not being dead in the water IS better than expected.
8/29/2008 7:21:03 PM
thats actually true...especially when anyone who doesnt fully support obama is labelled a racist!

that is pretty funny...they are quickof course she has gotten a massive (multi billon $) surplus for alaska...by taxing oil companies...getting similar benefits from taxing natural gas companies to use the land would also definitely be beneficial to the state of alaska

^^ And McCain has balanced the historic nature of Obama's campaign by making his campaign historic as well.^ Don't be so sure. Palin seems to be quite comfortable hunting, fishing, and making her case to the people--and her youthful enthusiasm is infectious. She might just make Joe Biden look like a soft New England nancy-boy.The fact that the left-wing loons are so frenzied about Palin tells me she was the right pick. There are only two scenarious that could happen:A. Biden destroys, embarrasses, and emaciates Palin. The media celebrates it.B. Biden destroys, embarrasses, and emaciates Palin. Palin cries. The media asks, "Was Joe Biden too hard on Palin? Our story on sexism in the Democratic party up next!"[Edited on August 30, 2008 at 11:29 PM. Reason : ]

^ You forgot another scenarioD. Lord Xenu sweeps down from Olympus Mons and appoints Palin the Kommisar of Gondwanaland. Biden is shunned to Corsica, where he will live his last years as a beggar with leprosy.
