yeah, i've read that...but a 2.4 GHz AMD is not the same as a 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo.

I also am a little dubious of those video cards being able to really run it with authority, although I'm hardly an expert on the subject.


I wonder how a 2.0 or 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo with 2+ GB of RAM (upgrading to 3 or 4 GB is cheap and easy) and something like a GeForce 8400 or 8600 would work?

Will there be much diffence between 2 MB and 4 MB of L2-level cache?

what about a 7200 rpm HD? Will that impact gaming, or just generally opening programs, booting up, etc?

I like it...I alternate between climbing up one of the side staircases and picking people off or just crouching and creeping thru the two side building with the shotgun or P90

I wish the part with the pool was better utilized tho...its pretty cool but no one hardly ever goes in there

i hate bloc and showdown the most. i was raping last night in free for all.

i had this class:

mp5 red dot
silenced pistol
special nade x3 stun
stopping power
extreme conditioning

i'd just run through all the buildings and mow people down. on strike i had a 6 knife kill streak, but i haven't unlocked that challenge on prestige yet

i'm hit or miss in team games though. if i'm on a really sucky team, i'm not good enough to change the outcome by myself yet...so sometimes it can be really frustrating.

I use my English accent and try to blend it with them until they call me out on it

Usually takes a few games before they catch on, mainly due to inconsistencies in my short vowel shorts

I still just love claymores. They are so evil. I played a few rounds of sabotage last night, and I was 36-6 in one game. One-third of those kills were claymores, and several of them were 2-baggers.

Played with the MP44 the other day. Damn, that thing is a ton of fun when you are just running around mowing people down. Almost a 1 shot kill even if it isnt a headshot. Probably hate it later today. I first tried the MP14. Got all the stuff for it. Killing everybody with it. Loved it. Then I get on one day, and havent been able to maintain even a 1:1 ratio with it (before it was 3:1 or higher).

its really irritating when a gun works for you one day, then the next day you cant hit shit with it

anyone else having trouble getting online with the ps3?

WHen you try to get into a game sometimes I get a box of "downloading game content" for hours. You cant play online sometime. My internet connection is just fine, its def a problem with the game servers. HOwever, my friends in charlotte got on last night just fine.

yeah id rather do all that stuff...i have the blue tiger camo for many weapons, but i dont even have all the 150 kill challenges done for each weapon (let alone headshot challenges)...it seems like it would be more fun to go after those

It seems like head shots with LMGs are hard because their damage is decreased to make up for the high rate of fire. It's difficult to put 4 shots into a head from a distance.

If I'm totally wrong about the damage rate call me out on it.

lmgs do more damage than the other weapons, mobility and time until you fire are the sacrifices (not fire rate, but the initial fire is slower).
