I thought the show was perfectly enjoyable. I really don't know what you're expecting, simonn. I mean, maybe season one and two are superior. So fucking what? It's still funny. I bet you're one of the same people saying that the last season of Always Sunny sucked too.

Still waiting on the inevitable Dwight/Angela reunion.

I'm ready for Toby to leave, he's getting pretty creepy (but still funny)."

Probably accurate. Except you left off where Toby tries to move in on Pam while Jim is gone.

i think that's a pretty good guess - jim is an extremely popular character - i mean look at all the facebook groups dedicated to him - the bitches love him

i really dont like creed that much. hes ok for the small role he has. he'd be annoying if he was a more prominent character.

last episode was not very good. slightly better than the dinner episode at least.

i don't watch always sunny, but that doesn't change the fact that since they came back from the strike, the show is not funny, whether they were written before the strike or not.

they've all but killed jim, the best character on the show, and turned it into nothing but michael. the office dynamic that they used to make hilarious all the time they don't even bother with anymore, and it's very disappointing.

apart from the Dinner Party, the Post-Strike S4 is much better than pre-strike S4. For the first half of this season, they were spiraling down the drain. There were some bad episodes, and not many that were even decent.
Post-Strike they have overall been much better.

didn't start watching this show until this summer. older episodes are a lot funnier, but my husband and I still laughed our asses off last night. If Jim and Pam leave, not sure how much longer I'll watch it.

There were some funny parts last night, but I didn't think that, overall, it was as funny as the others. And I liked the dinner party episode. There were so many things that were funny to me. The plasma screen was kiling me, and Michael laughing and saying he was in hell, Dwight showing up with a date and wine glasses... I just thought it was pretty funny.

The issue I am having is that the story line has become very scattered and going in a lot of different directions. The show, for what it is, has become a bit "complicated" and I always thought it was funnier when the cast as a whole was interacting. Right now there are little sub-interactions and they aren't as good as the whole.

Not sure if that made sense, I've been drinking.

ha, excellent - here are the Org Charts Dwight was using. There are lots of very small subtle jokes all over them

i thought it was a pretty good episode

dwight's 3, 2, 1! shit with andy was hilarious, and then he tried it again on michael and failed

stanley's rant was great and in the end, we finally saw michael be a real boss (only to be followed by his psychotic dangerfield monologue)

it was good to see ryan call jim out, mostly because having something actually HAPPEN is better than random plotlines popping up every single fucking week

I wonder if Ryan is trying to eliminate Jim as corporate competition. He probably realizes that Jim is the most competent employee at Scranton, considering he does well at his job and still has time to goof around.

For all we know, Jim was going to get Jan's old job but withdrew his name from the applicants to go date Pam, leaving the job for Ryan.

Here's my (updated) guess:
Ryan eventually gets fired for drugs.
Jim gets Ryan's job in NY.
Pam moves to NY with her fiance Jim to take art classes/make babies.
Karen's head explodes.

Of course, this doesn't happen until the show's finale.

^^Ryan is after Jim for obvious reasons (not b/c he's after Pam), and yeah, Toby is probably helping Ryan out b/c he is after Pam.

^ Ryan did ask Pam out, and pretty much said he could get any girl he wants. So, I would say he is pretty jealous.
