BTW....that crowd was PATHETIC.

11/27/2006 9:14:39 PM
our crowd (at least at the beginning) was awfulfans who had season tix to this game musta been on crack to not show up...this game was huge for us, we usually pack out the RBC center and it was slightly embarassing to see so many empty seats in there
11/27/2006 9:14:52 PM
rush hour traffic going to raleigh was probably bad
11/27/2006 9:17:12 PM
there were a few completely empty boxes. I think those are Corporations
11/27/2006 9:17:46 PM
^^ Right, which explains why it'll be packed out against ACC teams on weeknights at 7pm, right?[Edited on November 27, 2006 at 9:18 PM. Reason : n]
11/27/2006 9:17:58 PM
wtf happened to atsur?
11/27/2006 9:19:36 PM
11/27/2006 9:19:51 PM
Michigan isnt' an ACC team^have you tried driving 40 east towards raleigh between 4:30 and 6:30 on a weeknight?[Edited on November 27, 2006 at 9:21 PM. Reason : ]
11/27/2006 9:20:09 PM
the announcers noted how at the beginning of the game it was somewhat empty and then later on it filled up. i remember they were like, "where did all of these people come from"
11/27/2006 9:21:26 PM
11/27/2006 9:22:30 PM
i hope we get him back for the game against Alabama.
11/27/2006 9:24:14 PM
People forget about the strip search at the gates they do now.Everyone probably got there in time, just couldn't make it in.
11/27/2006 9:25:23 PM
NOW we will have our first real test: UVA and West Virginia on the road.Tonight was important b/c it continues to build the confidence of a young teamDon't be surprised if you see Lowe suit up next game in place of Atsur. he still has 1 yr left of eligability. all he needs is a 1 credit PE.... maybe advanced basketball.
11/27/2006 9:27:49 PM
11/27/2006 9:28:26 PM
i heard we get fergy back the day after the bama game. no lie.
11/27/2006 9:29:28 PM
is he good? why did he transfer?i'm out of the loop
11/27/2006 9:29:56 PM
^^there is no "back," he has never played for us in a game
11/27/2006 9:31:23 PM
He signed with Pitt without ever visiting the campus. When he got there, he hated it and transferred before the season started.
11/27/2006 9:31:41 PM
FYI, #9 Marquette is down to Valpo (whom we schlacked) 44-42 with 11 min to go in the 2nd half right now.
11/27/2006 9:32:34 PM
good so it wasn't lack of PT

What critics
11/27/2006 9:33:44 PM
6^ you seem to know a lot about him . . . what will be his first game?
11/27/2006 9:35:21 PM
I think we get him back he gets to play after exams lowe said the excat day on his radio show [Edited on November 27, 2006 at 9:38 PM. Reason : since he never played]
11/27/2006 9:37:55 PM
The student section got fairly full. The rest of the arena had seats everywhere. And we tried our best to blow that 20pt+ lead, well the refs helped us quite a few times too. Grant hits spurts where he tries a ball hog and takes ugly shots. And someone please tell Costner to quit shooting fucking 3's.
11/27/2006 9:37:58 PM
Rat Says we sucked
11/27/2006 9:38:26 PM
yea like i said we get him BACK after the bama game
11/27/2006 9:39:33 PM
Crowd was horrible early until we came back a little. You fuckers in student wolfpack club that get front row tickets need to get off your asses and make noise....and to the bitch that yelled "YOU SUCK GAVIN" about 3 minutes into the game....go fuck yourself....thats totally unnecessary. I just got back...so someone tell me how the officiating in the last 10 minutes looked on TV. I thought it was horrible from my angle, but I probably had blinders on. It was the worst officiating I had seen as far as not calling fouls on them, and calling touch fouls on us that I've seen live.
11/27/2006 9:41:16 PM
11/27/2006 9:41:38 PM
few questionable calls, but it was ok
11/27/2006 9:42:12 PM
11/27/2006 9:42:14 PM
^^^^there were some bad calls in my opinion, but they seemed to go both way, so overall it was even at least.[Edited on November 27, 2006 at 9:43 PM. Reason : .]
11/27/2006 9:42:31 PM
when Nieman lost the ball for the jump ball it looked like he got assraped by two UM defenders, easily a foul
11/27/2006 9:44:05 PM
Grant was getting raped in the end and the refs refused to call a foul and resulted in a turnover. Then there was another one where the michigan guy pushed Grant or someone causing them to go out of bounds and a turnover.
11/27/2006 9:44:41 PM
crowd seemed loud on tv
11/27/2006 9:46:52 PM
Glad to see Grant is still a dumbass.
11/27/2006 9:46:55 PM
as a rule he was fine until the last 4-5 mins tonight
11/27/2006 9:47:37 PM
CharlieEFH How did the refs win the game for us?I'll admit I probably just noticed more bad calls against us than normal, but there's no way they helped us out more than they helped Michigan. ACC referees (which I think those guys were) are notorious for tilting the game in favor of the team losing when it gets out of hand.[Edited on November 27, 2006 at 9:49 PM. Reason : btw...just asking for outside opinion ]
11/27/2006 9:49:27 PM
i was really impressed by nieman though, he played A LOT better than I' thought he'd play after the GW game[Edited on November 27, 2006 at 9:50 PM. Reason : hfds]
11/27/2006 9:49:52 PM
if it was an ACC game we would have got called for picky shitwe didnt'
11/27/2006 9:50:42 PM
11/27/2006 9:52:00 PM
oh okI thougt we got called for picky shit late in the game, and Michigan was playing physical as hell and getting away with it. Thats pretty much my only complaint except the fact that it was really bad from my view. I was also mad at our fans in my section for not making any noise so I kept turning around and lifting my arms up in the air. ^me too man...but if they spend that much time and effort to get good seats, then they need to get off their ass and make some noise. I was on the second row, and there were at least 5 people in the front row of my section that didnt yell at all. [Edited on November 27, 2006 at 9:53 PM. Reason : ]
11/27/2006 9:52:32 PM
hah. I loved the "We want Cowher" chant near the end when gavin was about to shoot his freethrows. There was also a sign that said "Out with Chuck, In with the Chin. Cowher Come Home".
11/27/2006 9:53:35 PM
The already-thin Wolfpack played just about the entire game with a six-man rotation after Atsur -- the team's second-leading scorer at 17.3 points per game and primary ballhandler -- hobbled to the sideline with an injury to his left hamstring with 14:26 left in the first half. It looked like a bad sign for an N.C. State team trailing 14-4 to an athletic opponent looking to stay unbeaten.Instead, the Wolfpack turned in the kind of workmanlike performance Lowe had promised when taking over here. In addition to Costner and McCauley, Gavin Grant had 15 points and seven assists while taking over at the point, while reserve Bryan Nieman -- who had scored nine points all year -- finished with eight points and six rebounds. The Wolfpack outscored Michigan 31-14 after Atsur's injury to close the half and take a 35-28 lead at the break. N.C. State then steadily increased that margin, outscoring the Wolverines 20-6 after halftime to take a 55-34 lead on a free throw by Courtney Fells with about 12 minutes left.

Lowe coaches non-stop on the sidelines... thats what makes the difference.. he alters the team to adjust what needs to be done
