Ran three miles, hit the weight room, but while working out my chest suddenly the right side started hurting like hell and stayed flexed for like a minute. Guess I need to stretch more.

awesome I ran from Kaplan to Avent Ferry to the middle of campus crossed over Avent Ferry to Gorman and back to Kaplan... Dont know how much that is but it felt great!! tomorrow is swim day! One mile.. I might attmept to swim a mile and a half

i ran the dog for about a mile - mile and a half... well the dog ran me for the most part. Our part of the the greenway was surprisingly empty today so the off leash run was dooable for the most part. its good to have dst again.m'lady started her strength training today. a big props to her and her regimen. she's way more fit than me.[Edited on March 12, 2007 at 10:24 PM. ^^ you're too sweet(yes i'm post stalking you, haha)but for real, my heart rate has already begun to drop considerably from doing cardio regularly at the gym (i joined 3 weeks ago). the first night i got on the elliptical machine it said my heart rate was 180 !! last night i had it at a steady 150 douglas about killed me last night with my training. i also lost a pound!tonight i meet again with douglas...i hope he does leg training cause my arms hurt like a mofo.

If you have bad swimming form can you still get a good workout from it? Our gym has a pool and I'm considering it to spice things up, but I suck at the coolness of professional swimming styles.

I worked out on the elliptical last night for 70 minutes at the second highest resis. That's the longest I have ever done. I wonder how many calories you burn when you do that and how far you go... My elliptical doesn't do the stats quite right which is why I got it so cheap.
