you could probably do leg presses if you brought a towel with you to set your ass on and conform your spine to the backboard. you could also maybe do hack squats with a set of dumbbells, but that might be pushing it.

the more you do them. the less sore your abs will get.do them like 3-4 times a week. after about a week, you'll get use to it and wont get sore

well i mean if she just starts out doing like 300 situps, then yeah its gonna get sore. but after doing them a while. it wont get sore.i would do abs then stop for a while and get back on and they would get sore. then i would do the same amount or so and it wouldnt be sore as hell. hell i dont know
