it's just like he wrote everything that was already written about UNC before last season, just switched a few names around. he couldn't have been writing that (i refuse to call that garbage an article) with a straight face.

i hope we just absolutely run them into the ground at C-F this season.

Lol so a qb that hasn't played much teamed with an unnamed running back is a contender for the national championship???

When will the madness end? Even if the hammer drops on them these crap segments will still be floating around...

Thats the worst part about that LSU game, since Les Miles pulled a Les Miles and started playing crazy they stayed in when they expected to get blown out and they were able to convince themselves that they could have won a national championship if they had all they're players.

Never mind they had a lousy quarterback and and losing to mediocre Georgia tech and Miami teams

Oh yeah and how about that 21-17 W&M or 17-13 Rutgers games meanwhile Alabama Auburn and Oregon are dropping 60+ points on these sorts of teams.

But watch as time goes on the more we'll hear about how the NCAA stole a national championship from Carolina.

Talking about cars for athletes at tOSU. Hmmm. I'm sure nothing like that is going on at a dealership owned by, say, a former player. A former player who offered one of a kind basketball shoes to a team if they reached the final four.

^Yates had a lot of stats because they had to throw because they had a depleted running game and poor first down performance (71s in First Down Offense)

Also, there are massive YAC numbers for UNC receivers and they had 5 players with at least one reception above 50 yds or more. If fairness Yates had a great completion percentage but it was also in large part to the quick dump off and let the receiver do the work strategy (Which when you have athletes is what you should do many times so not Yates fault)

What is important to note is yates had 37 sacks and UNC was 70th in 3rd Down Conversion.

Many of the offensive numbers put UNC second in the ACC in many offensive categories but when you look nationally they fall at average or below average when you don't consider pure yardage.

I think you can consider yates 2010 season as highly efficient and he deserves some credit, but lets not make him out to have had a great year. He still is awful on the late downs (lol into the stands on 4th) and takes too many sacks for a pocket passer type (some O-Line to blame but he holds the ball too long)

their appeals should get tossed out pretty quickly, since there is precedent that FERPA only applies to academic related documents.

i don't understand why they are fighting this so hard. if they've got nothing to hide, if everything has been above board, then they should have no problem releasing records that have always been considered "public"

This is still going on? Dang. Day what now.... 300 something?

We should create a reverse countdown clock for this debacle.....

Who is Coples in the pictures with on SFN? Specifically the un-athletic looking guy in the BOSS polo? I am not familiar.

K. Thx.

It doesnt say anywhere in the article about him drinking alcohol and there is no way they would pursue an underage drinking violation.

He is a dumbass for going to the party when players were warned not to.

This is not a legal matter.

^^ No one said anything about it being a legal matter

Just that most places don't let in people under 21

[Edited on May 20, 2011 at 4:17 PM. Reason : ^ Yeah, places that have purple shiny posters with 500 facebook profiles tagged are usually 18+]

i've found that most bars are 21+ and most clubs are 18+ because they value 18, 19 and 20 year old women shaking their asses

but whats really important here is that UNC continues to cheat
