OK I apologize for sounding like a dick. I guess in nicer terms I don't know how good or bad you are at poker, but I am not at all impressed at the hands you posted. I should definitely be more constructive and less destructive, that is true. I hope you can accept my apology.

So, I decided to play a little 6 handed 1-2 nl today after seeing all the hands posted last week. This was my first time playing 6 handed and all I can say is god damn that was some fun shit.
11/12/2006 7:36:07 PM
Is that good or bad?
11/12/2006 7:51:16 PM
It was good. Although that is mostly because I hit a lot of big hands, no awesome plays, except for one flush draw I played nicely to get paid off by two pair.
11/12/2006 8:19:15 PM
What site?
11/12/2006 8:33:26 PM
ub

I always enjoy 6-handed when I feel like playing a few more hands. People seem to be way more aggressive on those tables.

Has anyone else noticed the new game selection on stars? 5 card draw and 2-7 triple draw. I'm having a blast.

Not sure I like that play.Did you put him on a lower pocket pair, AK, AQ, AJ?He made a bet almost 30% of his stack, so why not just push him all in preflop? Were you worried about one of the 5 people behind you to act?If so, what happens if one if the 5 people behind you reraises? What happens if there is A, K, or Q on the flop? Do you just let it go?[Edited on November 13, 2006 at 11:43 AM. Reason : personally, I probably would have just folded preflop]
11/13/2006 11:43:08 AM
^I put him on either a lower pocket pair or two over cards at bestthis guy was a complete douchebag and had been throwing his money around i wanted to see the flop because of the fear of the overpair and didn't want to risk my entire stack if an A or K came out, I would have probably folded an all inif the people behind me would have reraised me then I probably would have foldedcuz that would take some balls to reraised a $24 bet with less than spetacular cards

11/13/2006 2:27:31 PM
^^I like this play vs a total maniac. Pushing with 5 people behind you is risky with JJ, and if it does get back to him he's just going it's just a coinflip . If you can manage to flop an overpair like this you're going to stack him, it's worth $24 for that oppurtunity. If a K or Q flops, things get a bit dicey but you can still take your chances against his range. If two overs flop, then oh well you just wasted $24. So basically, I don't mind just seeing a flop with JJ here to see if you still have the advantage vs a maniac's range. And also because this way you don't stick your neck out too far if a player behind you has a higher pair. If your hand goes to shit, at least you only lost $24 instead of $85. If it is a favorable flop and this guy is a true maniac, you stack him with ease.[Edited on November 13, 2006 at 2:33 PM. Reason : .]
