T&T is trash and I don't expect them to hack Pulisic like most Concacaf teams do/will so we'll probably get away with it. Early goal would be huge.

Meh first halfDefensive lapses, some good play up top but can't break through. Same old same old[Edited on June 8, 2017 at 8:51 PM. Reason : .]

Pulisic = The Golden BoyNagbe looking nice too. Johnson not so much
6/8/2017 9:15:35 PM
love what I've seen from Nagbe these last 2 games
6/8/2017 9:27:41 PM
Guys this Pulisic kid is pretty good
6/8/2017 9:43:44 PM
worth giving him another game at least
6/8/2017 9:52:23 PM
Lets go Mexico and Costa Rica!
6/8/2017 10:02:28 PM
I just checked the AFC standings. They have 2 groups of 6 this time instead of 4. CONCACAF 4 plays the winner of the AFC playoff.1) Iran2) South Korea3) Uzbekistan1) Japan2) Saudi Arabia3) Australiahttp://www.espnfc.us/world-cup-qualifying-afc/62/table

Where can I watch the Iran Saudi Arabia match?

I'm in Mexico. I have a good feeling about this cycle.
6/10/2017 11:51:05 PM
^I do too even though I feel like we won't win tonight. We'll get to the World Cup.
6/11/2017 12:28:48 AM
I predict a 3-1 loss tonight, but I do think we will make the World Cup.
6/11/2017 11:44:47 AM
It will be disappointing if we don't win considering they don't have much to play for (besides pride) and will be looking ahead to the confederations cup next week.
6/11/2017 4:23:47 PM
^LOL. It's Mexico in Azteca, scoring is an achievement
6/11/2017 4:51:32 PM
I'm not saying I expect a win, I'm just saying it will be disappointing not to win. I expect the disappointment. if there was ever a good chance to win there, this is it. they play Portugal in st petersberg in 1 week. this is just a warmup game for them. They will probably be executing a Portugal gameplan today.[Edited on June 11, 2017 at 6:06 PM. Reason : we are practice squad]
6/11/2017 6:04:44 PM
Would be nice to get These games on ESPN or something gonna have to watch in Spanish again I guess
6/11/2017 6:32:29 PM
you not get FS1?
6/11/2017 7:02:11 PM
That back three. Oh.[Edited on June 11, 2017 at 7:16 PM. Reason : France is ridiculous but can't fathom Giroud still there AND scoring][Edited on June 11, 2017 at 7:17 PM. Reason : Payet is so overrated too]
6/11/2017 7:15:52 PM
I don't get FS1 but got a buddy to give me his login info for the roku app so won't have to watch in Spanish at least haha
6/11/2017 7:36:22 PM
dafuq is this lineup?[Edited on June 11, 2017 at 7:53 PM. Reason : b lineups both ways]
6/11/2017 7:39:11 PM
Looks like a concession and looking forward to the next game? See an awful lot of pissed people on twitter who wanted to see us go for this win. Maybe the guys will surprise us. In Pulisic we trust?
6/11/2017 7:54:03 PM
There isn't another game for a month. I expected mexico to rest some guys for the busy time ahead but we are off. Maybe the strategy is to have forwards go all out for a half in the altitude and wear mexico down then bring on dempsy altidore nagby and win it.
6/11/2017 7:57:45 PM
Should be playing against 10Holy shit Bradley
6/11/2017 8:38:52 PM
GOOOAALlll!!
6/11/2017 8:39:05 PM
Welp big swing there whiffed on a scoring chance leads to that... crowd will get rocking again now
6/11/2017 8:57:54 PM
2 minutes of stoppage time, LOL
6/11/2017 9:21:09 PM
I'm about ready for the time when Beasley stops getting minutes in important games. Been ready for that for about 5 years.
6/11/2017 9:28:11 PM
mexico will prolly score by 70 if we don't sub
6/11/2017 9:47:36 PM
But seriously. How are Fabian Johnson (who I like but played pretty poorly the other night) and a 57 year old Beasley the best America has to offer at left back? Why did we start the B team?
6/11/2017 10:14:28 PM
Happy with the point
6/11/2017 10:31:10 PM
Damn! Wood cost us that game. Had he not struck out we would have been up 2-0. Oh well, we're sitting pretty good now if we win the rest of our home games.
6/11/2017 11:10:49 PM
Happy with a tie, especially since they seemed to dominate time of possession. This puts us in a good position going forward.
6/11/2017 11:16:57 PM
Why do we generate so many choke artists? Our players are good and get in great position then fan on easy shots in the big moment. (wood and gonzalez this game). That makes every game a tossup. We are on pace to be headed for the playoff.[Edited on June 11, 2017 at 11:51 PM. Reason : same thing happens every big game]

Altidore is a fucking joke. Dude did 0 for us last night when he came in
6/12/2017 11:34:11 AM
We played a 5-4-1 last night and packed the back to play for the draw after the Bradley goal. Altidore played for what, 15 minutes? What did you expect him to do?
6/12/2017 11:49:00 AM
The Bradley goal was easily the coolest sporting experience of my life in person.Bummed we didn't take a few chances and it sure felt like we had a ton of calls go against us. Hated our defensive posture second half, I was just waiting for a bullshit Chicharito dive to get a pen or something.

6/12/2017 2:56:18 PM
^yes, it started way early.I agree too (with earlier posters) that in the 2nd half the defense just stacked in front of the goal, and that was a little disappointing, but otherwise I think our back line looked more organized, had better one-on-one tackles, and facilitated counter attacks better than it has in a LOOOONGGGG time. The Mexico attack and counter attack is not top tier, but it's also no joke. They still had too many chances but keeping Mexico to one goal in azteca is a solid showing. There are still some adjustments to be made (replace Beasley), but I'm impressed with Cameron and Gonzalez. I think they can build off this ugly.[Edited on June 14, 2017 at 8:45 AM. Reason : Bigly, not ugly ]
6/14/2017 8:45:11 AM
Just watched the first half. Pretty disappointing they got away with those elbows, especially the one on Wood. Probably the best first 20 min we could ask for. We should have been 2-0 up and they were completely contained without any chances. Then Dos Santos went close from distance, Chicharito got behind the defense, and then the goal all happened within 5 min of each other. That being said, we did pretty good to regroup defensively and I can't believe Omar didn't put away that free header.More or less how I remember it while watching in the stadium except I didn't get a good look at the elbows. I knew that Chicharito dive was a dive and I was on the other end. He's such a fuck.

Better call the PC police. Maybe they can all wear rainbow jerseys like the US did a few games back.
6/20/2017 10:12:02 PM
so you're siding with our rivals and their use of an anti-gay slur? and take issue with the pride jerseys?
6/20/2017 10:41:14 PM
Acosta and McCarty were so bad today. They played so slow and turned it over way too many times.
7/8/2017 10:21:43 PM
^ Corona was even worse. Entire central mid was awful. Wings were a bright spot at least - especially Rowe.
