Yea still raining in Carrboro. Mike Maze just posted that RDU is reporting 4.18 inches of rain and still coming down. Handily beats the record set for today back in 1954 of 2.8 inches.

I think we've gotten 3 inches of rain within the last 45 minutes, here in Morrisville. I had to drive back from the gym and every road at at least 2-3 inches of water on it, and 4-5 in the low sections. Also the roof at my office is leaking, and in the 5 1/2 yrs I've worked here I've never seen that happen.



And it just reintensified.

hard ass rain came through charlotte about an hour ago. Sounded like hail on the roof at my work, but I don't know. More than likely it was just heavy, heavy rain.
