In a show full of very very stupid things, I thought the stupidest by far was the speech patterns of the garbage peopleUntil tonight That rocket launcher scene looked they filmed a guy, filmed a small explosion then spliced the two together [Edited on November 27, 2017 at 11:17 PM. Morgan on Fear the Walking Dead next season. Someone explain to me how that works? i dont want FTWD
11/28/2017 7:19:57 PM
a new show runner is taking over ftwd, they left last season up in the air and we only know that one main character survived. They also setup moving to Houston in the story and apparently production for FTWD has moved to Houston. Either there will be a time jump to catch up with TWD and morgan leaves alexandria to go to houston, or this will cover the time in TWD when we didn't follow Morgan I guess between season 3 and 5?
11/28/2017 11:19:02 PM
^Yeah pretty sure FTWD is set before TWD, so I'm guessing it's while Morgan was away.
11/29/2017 8:20:11 AM
But I thought they already explained that - he lived in the woods with a yoga instructor who taught him marital arts. To throw a trip to Houston in there seems like it might be pushing a timeline.
11/29/2017 9:10:46 AM
Is FTWD worth a watch?
11/29/2017 9:44:43 AM
God noBut I mean TWD is barely worth a watch, it depends if you are like- or hate-watching TWD right now Im kinda feel like FTWD makes TWD look like GOT
11/29/2017 10:26:32 AM
lol good enough answer for me. I'm still watching TWD for likes.
11/29/2017 1:02:13 PM
I enjoy FTWD
11/29/2017 1:12:14 PM
I tried watching it for a while but I just gave up last season. The whole stuff with the ranch and the Native American feud was just boring to me. And the way they killed off the main guy in the helicopter was a cop out.
11/29/2017 1:26:33 PM
FTWD is about the same as TWD. Too much plot armor for the main characters. Awful/moronic ways people die. Some characters you like. Mostly characters that annoy you. Up and down seasons with some weak plots.Just interesting enough to keep you watching most weeks.I thought it started strong, tapered off, and then I actually enjoyed this past season.

So why didn't Mick Jagger just shoot Rick at the end after he let her up? She was literally about to kill him and his amazing display of fighting ability finally convinced her to join him?
12/4/2017 9:52:45 AM
Same reason they didn't shoot him as soon as he walked up, I guess.[Edited on December 4, 2017 at 10:05 AM. Reason : Nobody shoots right off the bat like they should on this show. ]
12/4/2017 10:05:16 AM
so, Darryl batshit plan didn't go as plannedhas Eugene lost his head or found it?and it looks like dude fell off the water tower and broke his leg, then stayed for dinner^^and yes, they decided to help him because of his great fighting skillsI believe in Harvey Dent Rick Grimes.
12/4/2017 10:54:48 AM
I would give them a pass in not shooting him immediately as he walked up -- at that point in time they were in Negan's good graces so they could have potentially handed him over, who would probably have given them a very gracious reward.
12/4/2017 10:56:52 AM
IMO the way people act and die on FTWD is way worse than what we witness on TWD.
12/4/2017 1:23:31 PM
Why would they kill Rick? They know Negan wouldn't be happy if they killed him, most likely they would want to capture him and trade him for something. Then you've heard Rick tell this whole story about having multiple armies marching against Negan and that he has Negan dead to rights, so why would you kill him at that point? If you kill him and he's telling the truth, you're going to have a war on your hands as his people want revenge. If you kill him and he's lying, you miss out on any type of trade value with Negan. I'm guessing his show of strength/tenacity led her to believe that he was telling the truth. That type of society would probably give a lot of value to a stronger person and that was twice he survived their little test. At this point if you're the Junkyard Gang, there's little risk for going with him to see if he's telling the truth. If he's telling the truth, you're getting 1/4 of Negan's stuff without having to do much. If he's wrong and you get there and Negan is in control, you simply say you were bringing Rick to him and you use him as trade bait. There is no advantage to killing Rick right now.
12/4/2017 7:50:39 PM
they put the pole zombie on him, so they were obviously fine with Rick dying. i guess we can chalk it up to the garbage pail kids being a bunch of weirdos, but it's really just that the writers don't know how to cleverly tie in some drama and instead have to force it in with, to quote Dr. Evil, "an easily escapable situation involving an overly elaborate and exotic death" instead of a single bullet to the head.[Edited on December 4, 2017 at 10:33 PM. Reason : i'm sure there's a tv trope for this]
12/4/2017 10:14:26 PM
I think it's pointless to try to find motivation for garbage pail lady since she's clearly being written as someone with a severe mental illness or brain damage. Of course that just makes Rick's decision to try to deal with her again that much more inane...
12/4/2017 11:16:33 PM
^See, that point I do agree with. Rick had no business going back to her unless he knew that if she showed up to help the Saviors they wouldn't be able to beat both of them. But even still, if she betrayed you once, why would you even consider trying to trust her again?^^I think the pole deal was a test for Rick. They did the same thing the first go-round where had to fight his way out, I honestly think that group just values strength and I think she finds Rick interesting. Honestly expected the last thing she threw into the negotiation would be that she wanted to bang Rick.
12/5/2017 8:37:16 AM
So Coral is getting killed off? Wasn't he a pretty essential part of the source material?
12/11/2017 8:10:12 PM
^Yep. They've basically abandoned the source material at this point though. And man that mid-season finale was bad. Like, really bad.
12/12/2017 9:36:06 AM
That was really bad, maybe it will get vindicated by something down the line, but it looks like the writers have just lost their heads. When khoral fell down the ladder I was worried that he would break his leg, but no, he was bittenI mean wtf?
12/12/2017 10:29:42 AM
^Carl was already bit when he was on the tower talking to Negan.Carl got bit in episode 6 when he and the dude that Rick fired the warning shots at were fighting the walkers in the forest. This scene https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHsRSWqSEOs[Edited on December 12, 2017 at 11:48 AM. Reason : f]
12/12/2017 11:47:42 AM
This show is one big, long turd. That said, the actor who plays Negan should do a documentary on Ravishing Rick Rude.
12/12/2017 1:13:13 PM
^...I wouldn't be opposed to that biopic honestly. Though he'd have to lose some weight, get ripped, and grow a HELLUVA stache.[Edited on December 12, 2017 at 3:17 PM. Reason : .]
12/12/2017 3:16:41 PM
I was hoping to see michonne make someone lose their head, but I guess not looks like Gavin almost broke a leg, RIPKhoral
2/26/2018 12:27:54 PM
Holy crap could they have drug that out any longer. Almost fell asleep
2/26/2018 10:33:22 PM
so much for the garbage pail kids
3/6/2018 12:55:47 PM
the scene at the beginning where michonne let's the walker tear its own face off was awesome in a gruesome type of wayand negan almost had me buying into his bullshit at the end
3/6/2018 11:14:24 PM
^Although I do think Negan legitimately did think that Carl would be a valuable asset and may have actually been sad about his death, I couldn't ever see Carl joining his side. On that same thought, given that Negan has like 8 wives, I'm surprised he doesn't have any sons of his own.
3/7/2018 8:37:35 AM
I think Negan legitimately liked Carl. Not that he wasn't willing to kill him, but I think he thought he was a badass kid and someone Negan legitimately admired. He even said the kid was built for the new world and I think he saw a lot of potential in him if he could ever control Rick's group.I also think Negan's entire conversation/empathy was centered around trying to convince Rick that it was his fault that Carl's dead(not Negan's) and that if he just joined the team and stopped fighting that Carl would still be alive. He was basically trying to convince Rick it was in his best interest to go ahead and stop fighting now, but I don't think Negan realized that Carl had become more of the voice of reason to Rick, and was basically trying to keep him from going scorched earth on the Saviors.
3/7/2018 9:14:18 AM
yawn
3/8/2018 9:52:57 PM
Wait so the garbage people talked like that....for art??
3/8/2018 10:12:40 PM
I thought Jadis explained it that although it was garbage, it was their garbage. They created their own world to escape the shitty one outside their dump which included their own dialect. It could have also just been an act with outsiders for intimidation or to keep people off guard.
3/8/2018 11:17:16 PM
What a dumb piece of closure for a dumb show choice
3/9/2018 8:19:05 AM
well Dwight should hope that woman doesn't make it back, or he may lose his head, after his legs are broken, and his face it burn, and probably some other Medieval shitthere is only room for one Doctor on the showwatch your back Siddq
3/12/2018 12:35:24 PM
that episode was betterhow did Negan not break his leg after that fall?and I he might make Simon lose his head when he gets backSally Jesse brought the knowledge
3/18/2018 10:16:19 PM
I like this vigilante justice version of rick, I almost wouldn't mind if the show was Maggie and Michonne trying to run the colonies, with a perpetual subplot each episode of a few minutes of Rick/Neegan doing a Tom and Jerry routine in some random abandoned place with the hero/villain banter.
3/19/2018 2:13:11 AM
3/19/2018 8:43:54 AM
or how did he not get hit by a single bullet, rick must be the worst shot in the world
3/19/2018 10:52:02 AM
Knowledge Lady’s deal basically just sounded like a very polite Saviors deal
3/20/2018 3:38:08 AM
3/20/2018 9:17:11 AM
never thought the best episode of the season (so far) would have a Mrs. Doubtfire appearance
3/20/2018 1:20:05 PM
That was okay I guessEveryone getting sick and dying was pretty rough, that one dude must have broken his leg when he fell down the stairs, but he's dead already, so nothing to lose your head overNot sure what to make of negan being kidnapped
3/25/2018 10:36:21 PM
With that elaborate plan at Hilltop to trap the saviors, you'd think they'd have one guy hiding out in the trees behind them or something to just lay down some more spike strips or slash their tires or something during the chaos of the attack.
3/26/2018 10:07:56 AM
That episode was miserable to watch. So many moments where you just had to abandon all sense of logic and it was infuriating. ****SPOILERS****1.) They have a plan to kill the lights and open fire on the Saviors. That's not a terrible plan and it is actually executed beautifully. Then you're telling me 10+ people shooting with automatic weapons can't hit stationary targets standing in a field blinded by lights and caught off guard? Didn't we see the Kingdom basically lose all but 2 people in a very similar attack with only 1 person shooting? 2.) Ok, so you have everyone sleeping in one big house, and yet you don't have anyone on guard duty at the wide open door? Or on the balcony? 3.) So we've established they can't plan security for shit and they don't have guards. But you're telling me you can't hear zombies making plenty of noises walking around...OR HEAR SOMEONE FALLING DOWN A SET OF STAIRS RIGHT NEXT TO YOU and wake up and see what that noise was? How fucking hard are these people sleeping?? There is literally NO ambient noise.4.) What is the fucking rate of infection on this show? Khorl gets bitten and takes fucking days to die and convert. These people got hit by an arrow, infected, died, and turned in about 6 hours. How the fuck does that work? How is a bite and an arrow so drastically different?****END SPOILERS****
3/26/2018 1:54:07 PM
^Yeah it annoyed me that they had open lines of sight with people in each window and they killed maybe one guy? Why not close the gate behind them so they have nowhere to retreat? Also, why would ANY of the savior prisoners return to Simon after he said they don't care about them and they are as good as dead? What is up with Dwight? He had a lot of opportunities to kill Simon and didn't bother? On the rate of infection, the only plausible solution I could see is that it took longer for Koral to die from the bite than the people who got shot with arrows. With a small bite on his arm, the only thing killing him is infection. With an arrow to the chest, some of their vital organs could have been hit with zombie blood which might kill them faster.
3/26/2018 2:10:45 PM
^I mean the first guy that turned, ok, he got cut up pretty good in the chest, I get that one. But then you had the guy talking to Maggie that looked like he was recovering and was cut on the arm, same with the guy in the bed that had a bandage on his arm. Seems like it's just cherry-picked on how these progress with what the writers need them to do. I could see some of them having worse wounds and thus higher chances at a quick death/turn, but some of the ones turning didn't appear to have any vital organs damaged and just had arms hit with knives or arrows. Just a bit hard to buy. Also weird that no one seemed to notice that Tara got shot with an arrow and yet didn't show any signs of infection, you'd think that would have been a golden chance to have Daryl realize that maybe Dwight isn't terrible and has a plan.
3/26/2018 2:21:59 PM
maybe sleep speeds up the process? IDK, just grasping at straws here
