Fagan is [insert word for a presumed one year transfer that never really played bc of injury but does plan to play next year]
11/25/2021 4:25:10 PM
I mean he was a starter the first game and was pretty good.
11/25/2021 4:31:48 PM
Fagan, who started the first game and was pretty good, has said he plans to play football at nc state next season

I dedicate this song to the next NCSU championship in any major sport
11/27/2021 5:58:43 PM
So can we get a review of the onside kick at Wake? Looks like Cheez it Bowl. Could be Oklahoma, Ok State, Baylor, or Iowa State.
11/27/2021 6:18:09 PM
^^weird since we have back to back acc championships in a major sport
11/27/2021 6:35:15 PM
ok, major men's sport then

Since nc state fans can't enjoy things...If our run game was like this WITH him...
11/29/2021 10:19:54 AM
I think our shitty run game has a lot more to do with play calling than the players themselves.
11/29/2021 10:53:17 AM
Yeah I think our offense had/has the players to be much more consistent than it was.
11/29/2021 10:55:31 AM
Maybe Tim Beck will declare for the draft
11/29/2021 10:56:33 AM
Yeahhh. Really not impressed with him as a play caller. Not sure what his role in Leary’s development has been, maybe he’s a played a big role in that.[Edited on November 29, 2021 at 10:58 AM. Reason : Hh]
11/29/2021 10:57:56 AM
11/29/2021 11:08:53 AM
I fully expect Beck to be a 3-year MAX kinda guy that we use to get a burst of energy and move on as soon as everyone realizes his ceiling -- more or less been his shelf life everywhere he goes
11/29/2021 11:33:36 AM
imagine. being upset.
11/29/2021 11:42:04 AM
Who do you think is upset
11/29/2021 12:02:25 PM
So Knight, Carter & (Thayer) Thomas walked with the Seniors (in addition to Person)?(Thayer joined the team as a walk-on, apparently already has his business administration degree)
11/29/2021 12:22:46 PM
Well Thomas has already been here 5 years. Carter has been here 4 as well. Knight is the only one of those that surprises me a little, but i guess his special teams abilities will help when it comes to potentially getting drafted. At this point i don't see Carter getting drafted. Thomas could be one of those Hunter Renfrow type guys - a real gym rat who works hard But yeah, i don't recall Carter playing special teams at all, and in the NFL if you aren't a #1 wr/rb, you kinda have to or they'll fill your spot with someone who will.]
11/29/2021 12:38:06 PM
Rooks needs to spend next 6 months working on hands, if Thayer leaves.Need to hope some RS or incoming step up if Carter and/or Knight leave[Edited on November 29, 2021 at 12:40 PM. Reason : ^deceptive speed]

3500 yards. 35 TDs. 5 INTs. Feels like he was robbed. Hartman and Pickett are deserving for sure. Armstrong 4400 yards, 31 TDs, 10 INTs. Also 250 rush yards. Leary had -74 rush yards. Great numbers but also idk how good he is and how much is just a product of their system/style.[Edited on November 30, 2021 at 9:47 AM. Reason : Howell ahead of Leary is a crime lol ]
11/30/2021 9:47:22 AM
Agreed Howell ahead of Leary is dumb but I can't fault the list makers for giving him honorable mentions. ACC qb class is stacked this year, and while I obviously think Leary is one of the best there were a lot of good choices
11/30/2021 10:11:03 AM
IMO, it should have been Pickett, Leary and then Tyler Van Dyke.
11/30/2021 10:18:23 AM
TVD was really good. In my mind he only played like 6 games but i just looked and he actually played in all 8 of Miami’s conference games. So yeah throw him in the mix this year. ACC was pretty loaded at QB.Admittedly I didn’t watch a lot of Wake. But Hartman was just not good vs State and Clemson. Not saying that should’ve knocked him out of contention. But he was 47/90 passing with 4 INTs vs State and Clemson. And 25/51 against UNC. Seemed like he faded down the stretch. But hard not to give him votes after their season. [Edited on November 30, 2021 at 10:26 AM. Reason : A]
11/30/2021 10:24:12 AM
Yeah he basically played 8 and a half games. He attempted 1 pass versus Alabama and attempted 11 of Miami's 25 passes against Central Connecticut State (he was 10/11 for 270 YD 3 TD.) He threw for more yards and TDs in those 8.5 games than the great Sam Howell did in 11! If you take the Alabama game out, he averaged 325 ypg.I guess i value not turning the ball over a lot as well as place a higher emphasis on stats from conference games. Hartman and Armstrong led the league in INTs with 10 and Howell was right behind them with 9 (also it's goddamn near impossible to find fumble stats for some reason!) Howell and Hartman were also sub 60% passers when it came to conference play, while also again leading the league with 8 conference INTs apiece. Leary threw 3 conference INTs while leading the ACC with 27 TDs in conference games. Armstrong only threw 20 of his 31 TDs in conference play. He threw for a shit ton of yards but couldn't get it in the end zone like the other (better) QBs. In conclusion, I think Hartman got votes because Wake won the division and Howell got votes because of what he did the previous two years. Neither of them really deserve it over Leary or Van Dyke in my not so humble opinion. Final rankings for me: 1)Pickett 2)Leary 3)Van Dyke HM)Armstrong, Hartman
11/30/2021 11:13:38 AM
Armstrong attempted 40+ passes in 8/11 games. He didn’t play one game. That’s a big part of why his yardage numbers are so lofty.
11/30/2021 12:48:08 PM
Yeah he threw the ball a ton. Just saying, for a guy who threw for so many more yards and attempts than anyone else, his TD numbers are low while still leading the conference in interceptions.

11/30/2021 5:26:58 PM
Seems good imo
11/30/2021 5:39:22 PM
Hell yeah, Durden. We’re gonna have some legit hype next year.
11/30/2021 5:57:50 PM
Wow so much social media these days, a Twitter post reporting on an Instagram post. Remember the good old days when a player would come to your house, or at least deliver a nice letter, to let you know they are coming back?
11/30/2021 6:12:07 PM
Giglio usually pretty good at these
12/1/2021 11:11:53 AM
Big 12 opponent sounds good. Don’t usually get a lot of those matchups. (I say that and we do play Texas Tech OOC next year)
12/1/2021 11:13:46 AM
It could be 7-5 Iowa State though, which wouldn't be super exciting. One of Baylor/OU/OKSt would be cool though
12/1/2021 2:09:03 PM
We aren't gonna get one of those 3 though. No matter what happens, Oklahoma State and Baylor are both going to NY6 bowl games at the very least (an OSU win gets then in the playoffs without a doubt.) Oklahoma will be going to the Alamo bowl. We will get either Iowa State or K-State. That side of the Cheez-Its bowl is a done deal.
