So far I use the TV feature a lot, I thought it would be gimmicky but I love being able to snap something while watching tv and being able to use my one guide when the TWC guide wants to be slow as shit.

Has anyone had issues with the live tv? I just turned it on and tv is not starting. I can't even go to the "TV & OneGuide" settings.

EDIT: got it to work, had to reset the console. it seems like every now and then you need to shut the console all the way off (amber light on the power brick) or reset it.

Same issue here. Reset took care of the issue. There are quite a few software bugs that Ive run across but hopefully these can all be fixed with another update.

When I plugged in my cable box, it wouldn't pick up a signal in the setup. If I skipped the setup then it would work, but I'd have to go through that process each time I wanted to use it.

I posted about the TV issue, its a common problem. If it still happens after the reset, try putting it in power save. It seems like a RAM clearing issue.

I haven't had any issues with the TV. Rock solid.

Have you two attempted to lock the cable box resolution? For example, set your box to 1080p or 720p only? Mine is on 1080p only.

It's not a resolution or cable box issue, doing lots of multi-tasking will cause the same problems with other apps. Its a memory leak or RAM issue. I've had Skydrive and ESPN not able to load as well, but changing the power settings seem to have fixed the problem for me.

We had a momentary power outage the other day and the Xbone got knocked out of out of standby mode. Embarrassed myself a bit by yelling at it to turn on for 2 minutes in front of a friend who wanted to see it.

I tried to see what would happen last night if I used the xbox on voice command while my tv was off. The command worked and also turned my tv on.

I forgot to check the settings to see if I set it up to work that way or if it was accidental.

Yea last night I checked in on the settings and found that I had it set to turn the TV on and did not realize it. Once I saw you could also turn the TV off, I decided to run the TV through the xbox permanently. I wasn't using the one guide prior to last night.

The TV works pretty well. I was expecting more degradation of the picture quality. Being able to turn my TV on and off with the X1 makes it worth hooking up the cable through the xbox. I dont have to switch between Game, Cable, and BluRay inputs anymore which is an added bonus.

I am slightly concerned about having the Xbox on the entire time I am watching TV for longevity's sake.

Ran into a strange issue over the weekend. My wife created a profile for when she uses the Xbox for netflix/fitness/etc. Now I will be sitting in front of the xbox (with the kinect facing me) watching tv or playing games alone and the Xbox signs me out and signs in my wife. This has happened multiple times randomly and Im not sure why. Our face structure definitely isnt the same so it cant be confused by that.

I've found that doing a full power on/off everytime vs having the standby (using "Xbox On") always on makes everything a bit better. No memory errors or anything (and BF4 works!).

The only game I have for it right now is for my wife (Dance something 2014). There aren't really any games out right now that tweak my fancy, so I don't know when I'll be getting one(prolly march-titanfall)...unless you guys can talk me into one.

Only game I can recommend is BF4. I have Ghosts and Ryse also. I played about 40 mins of Ryse and just haven't started it back up yet - it got really repetitive, really fast. Ghosts is a still an occasional guilty pleasure, but I find myself wanting to play BF4 instead most of the time.

Thanks to my dads second wife (who has divorced him and since remarried) Amazon is sending me Battlefield 4 for Xbone.
