Canucks and sharks should be a fun series, if the first game was any indication. I only caught bits of the game, but there was some good energy.

i swear any time the sharks lose a lead they completely forget how to play hockey for about 6 solid minutes of game time.

If that happens, do they send the Red Wings east, or do we end up with Columbus or Nashville?

easiest realignment would be to send Nashville to the SE and Winnepeg to the Central

Columbus is closer than Nashville and is in this time zone. I think we'll get the Jackets.

hmmm looking at a map... cbus is closer to us and washington. but there's also florida and tampa, which nashville is closer to.

and columbus is closer to detroit, chicago, winnepeg, and minnesota... st louis is the only one where nashville is closer

I suspect that we'd see minnesota move to central, winnepeg move to north west, and nashville to SE

The Canes/Smashville rivalries would be epic! I'd pay often to see a Ward/Rinne matchup.

not Stanley Cup...but check out Head Coach of Finland eating it while getting off the plane. Into their trophy.

how much were they drinking on that flight?

That's not the head coach, it's the goalie coach, Pasi Nurminen.

Mostly known for having Cartman patches on his leg pads and suffering a career-ending knee blowout while walking to his car after practice.

that shot by stamkos was fucking sick. fucking. sick.

the last tbl goal should have been blown dead when thomas lost his mask. no real impact on the outcome, but its an immediate whistle. bad officiating.

in the NHL, it's only an immediate whistle if the goalie's team has control of the puck or if there's no threat of a scoring chance

tampa had the puck in the goalmouth, no whistle

I thought that a rule change this year calls for immediate whistle, though...

Nope, maybe its been floated as a potential change. Nvm.

you still have to have two different schedules planned. There's these things called building availabilities, and you have to factor in travel. That is, we probably won't see a panthers-winnepeg home and home back to back.

It had been widely reported that they were building two schedules.

Good lord, Hedman has been terrible this series.

Leaves the front wide open all the time, fans on pucks, etc.

nice turnover, tt. 3-1 bruins

wow, what an epic comeback

I just got home from work, turned the tv on just as the first period ended. I think I'm the Lightning's good luck

also, for the second straight year, the two teams that I'm pulling for have a good shot at getting to the finals. I pulled for Chicago and Montreal last year, this year I picked the Lightning and Canucks to be in the finals before the playoffs started. Big stretch, I know, just wanted to gloat somewhere
