Ez, you back yet? I'm loggin on to Live now, so just send me the invite. I'll wait until about 6:50.
7/23/2009 6:11:44 PM
Alright, I just sent Apoc another invite. We'll give it one more try and see how it goes. If it doesn't work out, we'll go from there.
7/23/2009 6:16:15 PM
Did they get it going?
7/23/2009 6:56:30 PM
We got all the way to the end of the third......and then we disconnected. We just can't seem to get it to work. This go round, I was up 20-0 and trying to run the clock out!
7/23/2009 6:58:30 PM
How are you connecting? I had connection problems in the past (well actually I used my laptop as the wireless bridge, which worked until Xbox pushed out a system update in the fall, making it hard to keep a consistent connection). I purchased a Linksys ethernet-wireless bridge and set it up just before NCAA came out, and it is working well thus far (knock on wood).
7/23/2009 7:04:48 PM
Hey, it must have been on your end, because I was still live with the game, which wasn't like the previous times. I super simulated the 4th, and you won 27-7. That will give us more realistic stats than if you played the cpu for the entire game.[Edited on July 23, 2009 at 7:06 PM. Reason : This was our last try anyway.]
7/23/2009 7:06:05 PM
Yeah, I have a Linksys setup too. The ethernet is connected directly into the XBox. I really don't know. I mean, I've played 14 games online and I have a 0% disconnect. And I don't think Apoc has had problems before either.......so I don't know how to explain it.
7/23/2009 7:07:11 PM
Are you cool with ^^. I thought it was the best option.
7/23/2009 7:08:01 PM
alright so were set to advance right then ?
7/23/2009 7:08:41 PM
^^That's completely fine with me -- I wanted to get this season on the road, haha. Yeah, each time we've been disconnected I've been on that screen too. It always tells me that I've been disconnected from you and it allows me to stay in the game......really weird, nonetheless.[Edited on July 23, 2009 at 7:09 PM. Reason : Let's advance]
7/23/2009 7:08:52 PM
I've been using my laptop with internet connection sharing over ethernet turned on and it's working perfectly. Have you guys used http://portforward.com/ to make sure you have the correct settings.
7/23/2009 7:09:47 PM
Hmmm, I did buy my game from Best Buy. Didn't someone post their game from there was defective? Only thing is this is the first time I've had any trouble playing someone online with 2010.
7/23/2009 7:10:25 PM
we ready for Week 2?
7/23/2009 7:18:11 PM
yeah everyone is ready, lets advance this shit
7/23/2009 7:19:45 PM

7/23/2009 7:20:03 PM
hmm...let me get motivated to move from the living room to the bedroom.
7/23/2009 7:22:23 PM
I don't think you realize how serious being a commissioner isI mean this is your fucking LIFE for the next few monthsThere's no vacations, no days off...prepare to be at our beck and call 24/7Last year I gave up alcohol and dating from July thru OctoberI was married to the game

Clemson strolls in Bobby Dodd and buttfucks GT 45-14. They used a steady diet of Spiller and Ford to mow thru the Tech Defense, and were able to shut down the vaunted triple option on D. Korn - 9/14, 160, TDSpiller - 13 for 112, 2 TD, 2 catches for 14, 1 TDFord - 6 for 121, 1 TDNo one of note on DWe look forward to BC coming to Death Valley next week.

#4 Alabama doesn't play a good host as the tide rolls over FIU 47-14. The Tide pounded the panther defense on the ground all game thanks in part to Sophomore running back Mark Ingram's school record 325 yds rushing and 4 TD in only 3 quarters. He did have a case of vaseline hands though with 2 fumbles, one resulting in a turnover just short of the goal line. The Tide defense forced a safety on the next play. The 2nd string offense and defense took over in the 4th scoring 14 pts and not allowing the FIU offense to reach the endzone. After the game, Nick Saban praised his running backs who put up 445 yds on the ground but was irate at the lack of pass defense and offensive pass blocking in the first half. "We've got to give our QB time to throw. Luckily we didn't need to pass since we had our own version of Forrest Gump to carry us to victory tonight. I believe we went 1 for 6 on 3rd down conversion. If we do that when against our SEC competition, it's going to be a long season. " Saban said. Next up Alabama has another warm up game with North Texas before opening SEC play against Arkansas.#4 Alabama 47McElroy- 4/14 for 51 ydsIngram- 24 carries for 325yds and 4 TD. Long of 62 ydsGrant- 6 carries for 119yds and 2 TDWashington- 3 sacksFIU 14McCall- 21/39 for 269yds and 2 TDOwens- 16 carries for 62ydsBeginning to think that User pass defense should be increased and ints increased a little. There's balls that should be intercepted and aren't on both sides.[Edited on July 23, 2009 at 9:07 PM. Reason : ]
7/23/2009 9:04:26 PM
user knockdowns yes, INTs no
7/23/2009 9:11:33 PM
I would say no. I have seen some dropped passes in the secondary that most likely should have been picks, but I've also played back to back games where a DL straight picked a ball and returned for a TD.Passing game is a little easier, but at the same time AI looks better when the right defense is called.
7/23/2009 9:46:13 PM
Jaybee, I'm ready.

GG, Jaybee. You definitely played a better overall game. I did give up two fucking pick sixes on wrong button hits.

In another downpour in Oxford, Ole Miss wins... Miami totally shutdown their best playmaker, Dexter McCluster, but the Rebels defense and timely passing and running pulled it out.Ole Miss - 38Miami - 24Ole MissJevan Snead, 11 for 19, 152 yards, 2 TDsEnrique Davis, 19 carries, 91 yards, 1 TD, 1 receiving TDAndrew Harris, 2 recs, 62 yards, 1 TDJohnny Brown, 2 INTs, 1 Def. I couldnt stop Cooper out of the backfield, I kept trying everything I could but my guys would get crossed up or something.I am about to give up on the fucking Wild Rebel formation, its a bitch[Edited on July 24, 2009 at 1:11 AM. I don't know what happened with my system. But I had to restart 3 times this morning when playing my game. Anyways. The Tar Holes of Chapel hill traveled to Hartford Connecticut. Ground game and defense held off the huskies to pull UNC to 2-0 on the year in a close game, won on a late INT return of 97 yards by the star corner-back Burney. Coach Davis was over heard yelling at his team through the locker room doors. "we played like shit and looked like it too." Next up for the Tar Holes are The Pirates of East Carolina it what seems to be the making of a great game.UNC: 34 - UCONN: 24Stats:UNC:Yates: 5/10 for 43 yardsDraughn: 29 ATT, 336 yards, 3 TDUCONNFarzer: 14/25 for 240 1 TD 2 INTDixon: 16 ATT, 41 yards[Edited on July 24, 2009 at 12:52 PM. I wish I could have restarted, I sucked it up against Vandy =(. I was down 49-21 at one point and came back and had a chance to win it at the end. I ended up losing 49-44 =(. I had about a billion face mask calls that killed me.
7/24/2009 12:49:26 PM
I dont know. i would get the kickoff and start running and it would freeze.
7/24/2009 12:54:25 PM
^^ LSU lost to Vandy? wow...What are you all doing on defense to give up so many points? Or are you getting a lot of special teams/defensive scores against you?
7/24/2009 1:05:46 PM
wtf how does Clemson beat GT by 30 and LSU loses to Vandy ?It cant be player skill, because I am not that good
7/24/2009 1:10:02 PM
Big game from TJ Graham (1 KR TD, 2 receiving TDs) lifts NCSU over Rice comfortably. RW had another efficient, solid performance before leaving the game early.
7/24/2009 2:16:49 PM
Everyone needs to install the disc to their hard drive so thatgame freezes don't happen. I think we need to have a rule regarding restarts against the CPU. I feel like if you win after restarting, the game should be thrown out and played again. If you lose then it counts.
7/24/2009 2:28:14 PM
Yeah I could see the potential for abuse."Oh yeah my dog hit the power cord" "Power outage" etc2 wins should equal 1 loss
7/24/2009 2:48:18 PM
what about the rare occasion when you actually do have a power outage ect..?
7/24/2009 2:50:46 PM
I'm installing to system when I get home. I was so pissed this morning because it doesn't look good with 3 restarts
7/24/2009 2:57:59 PM
so.... how exactly do you install the game onto your HD?
7/24/2009 2:59:29 PM
