so far the only thing i hate about fantasy football is the fact that if one player goes off, you have a good chance at winning. I'm playing a guy that got 30 points from the Eagles D but hasn't gotten double digits from anyone else. I have like 4 guys in double digits, but nothing close to the eagles D points, so if TO doesn't outscore tom brady tonight, im gonna lose........because the panthers offense sucks cock. Thats what pisses me off. Also, the guy with Drew brees in my league got 41 pts from Brees and he has 62 pts overall....and hes got a very good chance to win
9/14/2009 5:51:02 PM
Yeah I hate in basketball when Kobe scores 81 but the rest of his teammates don't do shit, and the Lakers still win the gameIts fucking bullshit; everyone should have to contribute equally to make it fair
9/14/2009 5:52:52 PM
^shut the fuck up dickheadim just saying, i hate when it happens. Not saying its wrong, just saying i hate it.
9/14/2009 5:56:45 PM
Who puts up more points tonight, Wes Welker or Vincent Jackson?Im thinking Jackson but others are telling me different.... thanks!
9/14/2009 5:57:51 PM
If Welker plays, Welker hands down. I have not seen lineup, still in office, but I am assuming Welker is playing. He is like the starting RB for the Pats lol. III
9/14/2009 6:16:43 PM
This is my work league team, we can start two QB's. Should I trade ochocinco for brandon jacobs?Philip RiversJerricho Cotchery Vincent JacksonChad Ochocinco Jonathan StewartDerrick Ward Chris Cooley Drew Brees Torry Holt Donald Brown Knowshon Moreno Miles Austin Dallas Clark
9/14/2009 9:29:48 PM
Moss needs to cool off right now, and I still have a chance. I am down 12.5, with Rivers up for me and Gates for my opponent in the Chargers game.
9/14/2009 9:35:25 PM
^^ wow, Brees & Rivers? I'd trade Ocho for Jacobs, but that's just me.Which 3 should I start at WR this week?Antonio Bryant @ BuffMark Clayton @ SDMichael Clayton @ BuffBraylon Edwards @ DenSteve Breaston @ Jac (perhaps still injured)
9/14/2009 10:51:10 PM
Anyone think palmer will get it together? gonna try to get heap or crayton off the waivers. If i get heap, i can trade him. Crayton would replace anthony gonzalez. In a 14 team league, so probably will never be near the top of waiver priority.
9/14/2009 10:55:42 PM
McClain and McGahee... damn you vultures! Give Ray Rice his TD's!!
9/14/2009 11:01:58 PM
Need P Riv and Chargers D to give me 26 points. It's gonna be close..I needed that TD! Augh![Edited on September 14, 2009 at 11:11 PM. Reason : Gates was in!]
9/14/2009 11:04:52 PM
^^thats the inherent danger of the Ravens...Flacco looked like a great rookie QB, but is he going to pass for many TDs? Rice seems like the #1 back, but McGahee caught the short TD pass...they're still a 3 headed monster...great for Ravens fans, not for fantasy ownersI'd still hang on to Ray Rice...I think he'll be fine
9/14/2009 11:19:38 PM
Raiders got a Madden achievement by tackling Gates inside the 5
9/14/2009 11:21:51 PM
is carson palmer going to come around
9/15/2009 12:18:18 AM
palmer better come around or my team is screwed. i also have washed up tomlinson and gonzalez who looks like he will be out for a whilethey can all eat a bowl of dicks
9/15/2009 1:41:53 AM
9/15/2009 1:48:49 AM
9/15/2009 2:07:19 AM
^^ ouch, didnt get that desean jackson return TD
9/15/2009 2:14:35 AM
god damit. how do i switch players from the bench to a position in YAHOO.thanks
9/15/2009 2:18:50 AM
^ just drag n' dropand again....Which 3 should I start at WR this week?Antonio Bryant @ BuffMark Clayton @ SDMichael Clayton @ BuffBraylon Edwards @ DenSteve Breaston @ Jac (perhaps still injured)

Lost by 1.3
9/15/2009 7:01:50 AM
Who are the best Waiver Wire pickups at WR after the first week? Stuckey, Clayton, Laurent Robinson?
9/15/2009 11:07:17 AM
Pretty good article here on who to pick up based on solid week 1 performances and upside.http://www.fftoolbox.com/football/article.cfm?article_id=463In a nutshell, without listing reasons or sizes or leagues to warrant these pickups, those players are:Joe FlaccoJeff Garcia Mike Bell Michael BushNate BurlesonPatrick CraytonPierre GarconJeremy ShockeyShane Graham (K)Washington's Defense (vs. STL in week 2 for defensive streamers)Hope this helps.- The Guru
9/15/2009 11:40:48 AM
^^^^I would stay with those 3, even though two of them are on the same team.Edwards looks like shit and did breaston get any meaningful time?WHo should I pick up to back up McNabb and Schaub? Since both seem to be fucking hurtJ. GarciaE. ManningT. EdwardsJ. Flaccoedit: hmm that article says flacco[Edited on September 15, 2009 at 11:42 AM. Reason : ^]
9/15/2009 11:41:14 AM
^ thx, yea Breaston didn't play this past Sunday.I'd go with Flacco probably..Garcia would only help you for a week or two until McNabb/Vick are in the picture. Eli/Trent would work too, I haven't checked their stats from Wk1, but Edwards has both Evans & Owens to throw to.
9/15/2009 12:50:26 PM
got a D/ST dilemmaPhilly's D vs NOorBaltimore's D vs SDMy take at the moment is that I should start Philly's D since1) they are a much better overall unit2) I feel like they will get a couple of turnovers3) ST unit is dangerous (see Jackson returning a punt)that being said, I still feel torn about the decision[Edited on September 15, 2009 at 1:16 PM. Reason : )]
9/15/2009 1:15:42 PM
I'd run BaltimoreI'm not saying Brees is gonna throw 6 TDs on Philly's defenseBut he's gonna throw like 4
9/15/2009 1:18:58 PM
^^ Baltimore... you know that NO is going to put up at least a decent amount of points.Pick 3:Chester Taylor @ DetFred Jackson vs. TBSteve Slaton @ TenDevin Hester vs. PitDerrick Ward @ BufRonnie Brown vs. MiaWe also get a few points for KR/PR so that ups Hester's value a bit.I'm pretty sold on Fred Jackson, and I'm leaning towards Taylor and Hester... thoughts?
9/15/2009 3:20:37 PM
I'd go Fred Jackson, and also Hester, and Ronnie Brown vs. IndyWhens the last time Indy's defense could stop the run
9/15/2009 3:29:15 PM
Thoughts on Ray Rice and Darren Sproles? I may look to trade Rice if I am convinced Sproles will pan out.
9/15/2009 3:37:31 PM
^^ Yea, I'm just a bit worried about how active Williams was this week, and kind of hoping for some garbage minutes vs Det. but yea... I dunno about Taylor.^ I think Sproles would be more consistently used then Rice as he is only splitting with one guy instead of two. Plus if you get points for KR/PR Sproles gets a boost.
9/15/2009 4:18:29 PM
might want to rethink the Sproles vs Rice thing.
9/15/2009 4:32:48 PM
i wouldnt play him against Baltimore though, assuming you have other options]
9/15/2009 4:37:33 PM
I'm starting Kevin Kolb against NO. Thoughts?
9/15/2009 5:11:30 PM
^^ummm are there NO other options?? seems like you can find another qb
9/15/2009 5:20:03 PM
i need a backup tight end. would you go with: todd heap (bal) robert royal (cle)?
9/15/2009 5:25:40 PM
Better over the course of the season, Trent Edwards or Mark Sanchez?I actually am leaning Sanchez but Trent has some good WRs..
9/15/2009 5:27:14 PM
^^i'd say Heapand who is your starting TE? if its somebody like Gates or Gonzalez, you might be able to more efficiently use a roster spot since you'd play a Gates or Gonzalez 16 out of 17 weeksKinda like if you have Drew Brees, you don't need a backup QB...just pick up one on Brees' bye week^tough call...I kind of like Sanchez too[Edited on September 15, 2009 at 5:28 PM. Reason : .]
9/15/2009 5:28:04 PM
Yeah I'm considering trading Edwards for a RB like Benson to be my 3rd RB....a guy has big QB problems in one of my leagues. The only ones he can pick up are like Collins, Russell, Croyle, Stafford, and Bulger because we start 2.
9/15/2009 5:32:19 PM
it's dallas clark. i drafted him then heard he's pretty inconsistent. and dammit Gonzalez was sitting there at the same timei might just hold out with clark for a while
9/15/2009 5:33:51 PM
I'd probably just hang on to Clark until the Colts bye week...he's definitely a top-5 TE
9/15/2009 5:46:33 PM
What kind of league are you in where 6 teams autodraft ?some random public league ?Thats sounds like no funHalf the fun is the draft
9/15/2009 5:46:48 PM
a league with people who have jobs, kids, etcthey don't take fantasy sports as seriously as i do although they're willing to put in their chips]
9/15/2009 5:47:48 PM
No excuses !!!If you cant make the draft, you can't playFuck people who are "too busy"
9/15/2009 5:48:44 PM
^^I thought Edwards looked pretty damn good last night. I think he would definitely be the "safer" pick. But yeah Sanchez could have more upsideWhat about this one: I need a 3rd WR: Chansi Stuckey or Isaac Bruce?
9/15/2009 5:56:14 PM
^^Yeah wellthe funniest shit is a few years ago, my buddy who is divorced was having to do all this shit with his fiance at the time so he knew he was going to miss the draft...but having the proper foresight, he decided to rank his top 200 players, so he would have SOME say over who his team drafted...but instead of adding his top 200 players to his draft list, he added them to his exclude list...THAT was some funny shit...kicker in the 3rd round, etc...his best player by far on his entire team was Culpepper...and that was with the Raiders after the injury
9/15/2009 6:33:07 PM
Im dropping anthony gonzalez because he is a pussy.
9/15/2009 9:08:06 PM
9/15/2009 9:57:37 PM
9/15/2009 10:03:17 PM
Ok, I have gonzalez and lance moore on my roster. I'm thinking about dropping them for some guy like crayton, earl bennett, the st louis rams guy, etc. Would you do this?We play 2 receivers and my other is roddy white. I am holding on to a lot of young RBs with hopes that one will blow up later on (donald brown, mccoy, james davis), so I was reluctant to drop them, as well. This is a PPR league, so a lot more WRs are viable.[Edited on September 15, 2009 at 11:42 PM. Reason : (i would use a waiver on crayton or todd heap, but not the others)]
