you should be drinking skim or 1%

2% has the equivalent amount of saturated fat as 3 pieces of bacon and whole is 5 pieces of bacon

It blows my mind that some people think skim milk is honestly watered down milk.

I grew up drinking skim milk 'cause my mom made me drink it, and I grew to like it. I used to think 2% and whole were disgusting, but one day in my early teens, I randomly flipped my opinion. I looked at a glass of skim milk and saw how watery it looked, and decided that whole milk was actually good.

^I didnt think you thought that. But ive met plenty of people who thought you make skim milk by taking regular milk and diluting it with water.

My parents just started buying skim one day when i was a kid and i just got used to it. Besides, i drink enough of it where i'd rather not have the added fat and calories.

I can't think of any valid nutritional reason for an adult to drink whole milk

skim milk has more protein/calcium/potassium and less calories/fat/cholesterol than whole... I could go on forever about this but I need to sleeeeeeep

what about soy milk? or this like stuff i saw at the store almond milk or something?

i don't particularly like soy milk (silk) but maybe the chocolate kind would be ok. but i heard it isn't necessarily as good for you as people say

^^I haven't tried soy milk, but almond milk is pretty good. It's too sweet to take regular milk's place in my diet though. There's nothing like a good hearty meal with a glass or two of milk.

^I'm quite relaxed. Just haven't seen those glasses anywhere else in the 3 or so years I've owned them

growing up I remember seeing/hearing news reports about fish. this fish was bad for you one week, the next week it was good. that fish was toxic, then it was OK. then they were both bad. then OK. etc etc etc

soy is the new fish. every week there's a study that disagrees with the findings of the previous one.

so in conclusion, try almond milk. there's also rice milk, but I the flavored versions have a grainy mouthfeel.

but if you want flavored soy, light chocolate silk is delish.
