Alright give me 5 minutes and we'll be in week 2 (Batman was sick btw)Just a few things I ask because of the 1-AA opponentsKeep in under 147, since that precedent has been setSpread out your touchdowns among your players...don't let anyone get like 8 or something[Edited on July 19, 2008 at 6:05 PM. Reason : Ok week 2 is up and ready !]
7/19/2008 6:02:02 PM
^yeah, and he was past it. That INT you returned from my endzone had me fuming for a while, haha. Cuz Tate had robinson beat by a step and yates threw it a tad behind him. The other two INT's were just horrible throws by me. Good game though
7/19/2008 6:02:48 PM
7/19/2008 6:05:17 PM
well im done with week 2, haha....but i had a bye so all i did was recruit. I'm happy to say that im #1 on my first 7 guys lists

i had a 93 yard run with Eugene in an offline dynasty and when he scored he ran over to Mr. Wuf and did the Heisman pose
7/19/2008 9:47:50 PM
whooops. couldn't connect to dynasty servers so I restarted my router and finally got on. didn't show that I had completed my game so I redid it. got a restart warning
7/19/2008 11:34:33 PM
I am playing some FCS team... so to keep the stats relative I need to score 100+ right?
7/20/2008 12:19:16 AM
it's amazing at how pathetic the fcs teams are. And they definitely need to fix the return game in the next patch.
7/20/2008 12:22:57 AM
35-0 at the end of the first, I have not passed once, literally[Edited on July 20, 2008 at 12:27 AM. Reason : d]
7/20/2008 12:27:30 AM
yea, FCS teams are ridiculous.
7/20/2008 12:33:58 AM
I am sacrificing my "realism" soul for you fuckers...if duke can put up 100 on one of them I am going for 200 with VT
7/20/2008 12:37:54 AM
ha. you got a long way to go for 200.
7/20/2008 12:43:05 AM
I let up some... it was killing me
7/20/2008 12:47:12 AM
done, 84-0, yeah, you all were running up the score like crazy, it was very very easy to keep it under 100. I went into prevent after the 1st quarter, they ran it a lot... they didnt get anywhere but it ran time off the clock and kept them from throwing INTsto score 100+ you had to have been rushing the qb and getting a LOT of INTs just for the amount of time it takes to physically score 100+... if they do 3 and out a lot you wont have time to get to 100[Edited on July 20, 2008 at 1:04 AM. 7/20/2008 12:59:24 AM
last year Michigan must've thought App would be a normal "FCS (insert compass direction)" team and thats why they took them lightly
7/20/2008 1:00:42 AM
And NCSU vs. FCS East is underway...should be a close matchup
7/20/2008 1:05:06 AM
^^^but half the time you can run off tackle from your own 20 and take it to the house just because you're so much faster^Eugence could easily have 250+ rushing yards and 5 TDs<]
7/20/2008 1:06:46 AM
Not since he is injured until next week....
7/20/2008 1:09:01 AM
ha, I don't think I started inside my own 50 the entire time. most were either punt returns that got me inside the opp 25. I lost count of the number of returns for TD's.
7/20/2008 1:11:15 AM
^^^ I agree, but I am just saying even if you score on the 1st play every single time, if they run 3 plays and a punt that time alone will keep you under 100... the score was nuts in the first quarter because I was playing actual defense, but once I was up some stupid amount I went into prevent, which forced them run a lot more[Edited on July 20, 2008 at 1:13 AM. Reason : d]
7/20/2008 1:11:30 AM
you should try out the Campus Legend mode...if you think its easy to run all over FCS teams, you should try playing against high school teams (while playing with a high school team yourself, obviously)for example, i'm playing with a speed running back right now...just played the 3rd game of the high school playoffs:14 carries423 yards7 TDs66-17 win with 4 min quarters and I'm not calling the plays or doing anything but controlling the RB-------final game16 carries417 yards8 TDs56-10 win with scouts from Wisc, LSU, Ariz St, Ok, WVU, tOSU in the crowd[Edited on July 20, 2008 at 1:33 AM. NCSU 73FCS E 19TOB opened his mouth for the first time in a week at the end of the game against FCS East stating, "It was nice to move the ball with relative ease, however, we can't afford to keep turning the ball over if we expect to go to a bowl this year." With Clemson on the horizon, the Wolfpack players can expect to practice hard this week.Even though the Wolfpack put 70 more points on the board this week than last, the game was not without its ugly moments. One interception each for Daniel Evans and Harrison Beck halted drives in the Red Zone. Evans' pick was returned 89 yards for a touchdown, similar to the two during the 2007 game against NC State's rival UNC.All was not bad, however, as Andrew Evans had 166 yards receiving and a touchdown. Donald Bowens also contributed 131 yards and two touchdowns. Andre Brown had 71 yards and three touchdowns to lead the ground attack. The NC State Defense, however, had few bright spots as the FCS East Bulldogs moved the ball with relative ease against both the first and second string players. FS JC Neal contributed 5 tackles, one pass deflected, and an interception return of 54 yards for a touchdown. DT Alan-Michael Cash also contributed 2 tackles, one for loss, and an interception. With the running duo of CJ Spiller and James Davis ahead of the Wolfpack, the defense will need to clamp down and focus in order to have a chance against the Tigers.

Yo Tree, want to get that game in?
7/20/2008 2:28:05 AM

gg, TreeGT 38BC 14Turnovers were the difference. I down note I missed two 19 yard field goals, and my qb was injured.[Edited on July 20, 2008 at 3:35 AM. Reason : c]
7/20/2008 3:34:59 AM
i'm pretty glad i took out your QB for 9 weeksit sucks for me that you were blitzing all of your LBs in the 4th quarter when you were up by 30 points, but oh well, i suck, one of my scores was lucky, the other was a garbage score ]
7/20/2008 3:35:15 AM
Ok....and guess I should have twice ran sneaks on the 1inch line for TDs instead of trying field goals. And maybe I should I have not ran up the middle all most every play in the second half. No hard feelingsSeriously though, I thought it was a fair played game. For some reason my o-line was just killing your D-line early. If we played again you would probably win. Good luck the rest of the season.[Edited on July 20, 2008 at 3:41 AM. Reason : s]
7/20/2008 3:38:29 AM
i dont have a problem with anything you did except all out blitzing your LBs with a 30 point lead in the 4th...you took control of the game in the 1st quarter and i could never recover, but you didnt have to rush my QB with multiple defenders every down of the last 2 minutes of the 4th with a 30 point lead...either way you had the better team and got the WBoston College is just kind of slow and doesnt have Matt Ryan anymore...I just need to beat my FCS opponent in a couple weeks and try to beat Duke or some other shitty team and get some recruits...teams were random, what are you gonna do?]
7/20/2008 3:40:26 AM
You're right, I had no business blitzing on that last possession. [Edited on July 20, 2008 at 3:54 AM. Reason : h]
7/20/2008 3:41:48 AM
Blitzing up 30 in the 4th quarter ?Come on, you're better than that...thats not what this league is aboutIf we want that type of game, we can go play any random douche onlineConsider this Strike 1
7/20/2008 7:55:09 AM
is anyone else not recieving emailed game results? for some reason I got one for the first game I played online about 5 days ago, then I haven't received any emails since.
7/20/2008 10:03:07 AM
I havent got any... but then again, I didnt sign up for anything...was I supposed to?
7/20/2008 10:29:56 AM
stats are only kept and emailed are for ranked games.
7/20/2008 11:33:38 AM
Strike one? Meh. I did ONE small thing on One possession of a game which I could have won by 2 or 3 more touchdowns if I had felt like it. I'm sure TreeTwista would agree I played the game fairly except for that one minor hiccup. Regardless, it won't happen again.
7/20/2008 11:58:06 AM
well it was more than one possession, but i'm not mad...i'm a lot more mad that i have to deal with my slow ass Boston College Eagles team for the rest of the season until I can get a little speed in from my recruits...my week 1 loss to Kent State is looking pretty bad right now...luckily I won't lose in week 3 since I have a BYEi thought you played a fair game overall, you just happen to have a RB core (even with suspensions/injuries thats faster than most of my corners lol]
7/20/2008 2:10:28 PM
Yeah I was surprised when I ran away from your corners a few times. Don't think I'll be that lucky going up against VT's defense next game. Could get ugly.
7/20/2008 2:28:45 PM
i think it would be a good idea if i had damn near all of my recruiting prospects visit in a couple weeks during my FCS East game so they can actually see a WbtwFlorida StateMarylandDukeyall still need to play your games and do your recruiting]
7/20/2008 2:38:08 PM
ha, but if you can luck up and beat an acc team or rival with them visiting you get a lot bigger bonus.
7/20/2008 2:57:07 PM
should be able to get my game played tonight
7/20/2008 3:00:17 PM
by the way... any of you interested in being in a really good fantasy league? This will be our 4th or 5th year and we might have a couple of slots open but you really really need to know your shit and its an IN PERSON (not online) live draft on Saturday Aug. 16th in Raleigh that you have to be able to attend. Let me know.

Duke improves to 2-0 in the Cutcliffe era with a 38-14 victory over Northwestern. After trailing 7-3 at halftime, the Blue Devils exploded for 35 points in the second half. The player of the game was RB Ra'quan Boyette, who had over 100 yards both rushing and receiving and scored three times. On defense, Vince Ohgabaase (sp?) was dominant, recording two sacks and a forced fumble, while recovering two fumbles.Next week they face Navy, so we're expecting to load the box with a lot of 8 man fronts to take away from their vaunted ground game.[Edited on July 20, 2008 at 3:10 PM. FSU beats FCS Southeast by the final of 79-3. Ole Bobby sat his 1st teamers for the last 13 minutes of the game and saw VERY solid play from his second team players. Paul brought back the second half opening kickoff for a TD and Tavares Presley was the Player of the Game with 178 rushing yards on 13 carries. Not bad for a second stringer.Next up for FSU is another easy test versus FCS East at home. Then FSU opens up the ACC season with Wake Forest coming to Doak Campbell
