you already posted it once, in a thread where it was somewhat relevant and/or amusing.

so then half an hour later you have to make it the subject of its own thread?

come on dude, its not that original.

This doesn't hurt either:

The Most Popular Governor

Quote :
"She is now the most popular governor in America, with an approval rating in the 90s, and probably the most popular public official in any state."

way better than the Lieberman rumors

So SARAH PALIN is supposed to be more qualified than Mitt Romney to be VP? LOL.

With as old as McCain is, the threats at home and abroad, you would choose HER credentials over someone like him? Big mistake. He's trying to cash in on the Hillary voters thing and you can see right through it. Problem is, that's even so obvious it's condescending.

Biden will tear her a new asshole in the debates. This will be fun!

^^ We want to win. Yeah, maybe Biden will be seen as overbearing, rude, and flaky--his trademarks--to one of the most popular governors in the country. That'll go over well.

BTW, will this asshole-tearing rhetoric be plagiarized by Biden--again?

PS: And who says Romney isn't going to be secretary of the Treasury or something along those lines?

I just mean in comparison, I don't think the president has to have this huge resume - I think it's much more about having keen intelligence, strategy, judgment, and the ability to surround yourself with the best and the brightest to work toward the best solutions. I think Obama can and will do that. Otherwise I wouldn't support him jackass.

If you are picking a VP to shore up competency and augment your strength...all I'm saying is that Romney adds a shitload more than Sarah Palin and it doesn't make sense save some desperate attempt to steal disenfranchised dems. Period. I hate Romney but he gives you alot of executive and financial strength even if I think he's a dick cheese. Palin gives you a woman (a MILF even).

Democrats fear John McCain will pick a woman as his running mate

Quote :
"On the basis that a politician should always do what his opponent least wants him to, Hutchison has a shot, as does Sarah Palin, the photogenic young mother who is Governor of Alaska.

Some Republicans like her because they think she will help reinforce Mr McCain's support for renewed oil drilling, one of his few policies to capture the public imagination this year, at a time of rising fuel prices."

Well in a way I hope he picks her...not because I think it will help him...it won't.....but because she is certainly drastically more pleasant to look at than McCain. I looked her up - she's a straight up MILF man, I'd have to toss politics aside for a second and just be straight about that.

even if it doesn't help, I don't think it hurts him at all whereas some of the other choices probably would have had a negative effect, so for that reason alone, it's a good choice IMO... makes his cabinet decisions all that more important though

MCCAIN: Its a peaceful and stable country now.

Its interesting that McCain would pick someone from a state that has nearly all of its congressional delegation under investigation or indictment for corruption.

McCain already probably has the religious nut job vote, I don't see why he feels the need to pick a hardline antiabortionist/anti-gay type.

That seems like it would cost him moderate votes, to me.

I wonder how she feels about marijuana laws though...

She hunts, she fishes, she played championship B-Ball in High School. She's wildly popular in AK.
She's the Conservative that Repub's have been clamoring for. This could re-energize the GOP base as well as attract independents.

Barack "Sweety" Obama is already struggling with the massive female vote. Could this Hockey Mom be his undoing?

Yeah, that is interesting, considering that she has been a whistleblower in a lot of those corruption cases

She's got an immaculate record on ethics, going as far as alienating her own party in pursuit of corruption by state leaders.

I think Republican's have demonstrated in recent years that they can be every bit as freaky as Democrats, probably more so, since sexual repression breeds that sort of thing.

Hell, Obama probably wouldn't even be Senator if the Jack Ryan swinger scandal hadn't broke.

I am surprised at this pick, especially with all the McCain talk about experience

Her only experience is being mayor of a town with 8400 people and a governor (2 years) of a state with a population half the size of Raleigh. She certainly doesn't have the credentials to run the country if McCain kicks the bucket.

Seems like a play out of the country music handbook. Get a pretty face in front of the cameras and the rednecks will ooh and aah regardless of the substance of their work.

Really? After hearing her talk I found her to be a mediocre to subpar speaker (her voice was harder to listen to than Clintons) and she's obviously been picked to get Clinton voters, in fact she mentioned Ferraro and Clinton right at the end of her speech and then followed that up with, "I Know why I'm here."
