^^it's not necesarily badlands. The update was crashing servers on all maps. There was also something buggy in the stat tracking. One guy said he beat his highest sentry kills by 20--as a medic.

apparently, this command "achievement_unlock_all" only unlocks the milestones so you can get the new weapons and still earn the regular achievements the hard way

Its funny because they just patched a hole that let anyone on a server force the server to run a benchmark, which would crash the server. Now they just leave this stuff in there.I mean achievements are obviously going to be detected and unlocked client side so theres probably no way to keep them from eventually being hacked, but come on. A console command?

they also fixed an exploit with the latest patch that allowed people to create a server, run cheats to farm the achievements, then turn off cheats and log off to save the stats.then they left the console command in there. I think they may have left it there on purpose. Unlockables seems against the point of the game to me.

God dammit... new update removes the console commands. However, if you already ran them you get to keep your achievements. Seeing as how I haven't done that yet, I guess everybody else will have them while I slowly earn them. I was playing last night and these two medics were just teaming up the entire game. They both had the new saw that builds uber, so one of them would uber the other, and he would manage to get enough hits in to build up his own uber, so as soon as the other's ran out, he would turn around and uber him.

this is truly an impressive amount of development for a game that doesn't require monthly payments I think it's great that the pyro is going to get some much needed love, and the air blast alone is going to make him a really viable class. I can't wait to see what they come up with in the future for the other classes

Ah I was just commenting that they have funny details added in the video . . . for example he stays in place for so long he pees into a jar.Anyway my only beef with the new updates on pyros and medics is that everyone chooses them now. I have yet to see a round that didn't have balance on the medics and pyros

Pyros are a tad overpowered now, but heavies and soldiers can still handle them pretty easily. I think when every class gets their update, things will even out a bit.
