Well, after being away from home without access to a gym for over 2 weeks, it felt good to get back in there last night. Luckily I got a lot of general hiking/walking exercise during the time I was gone, but I was definitely feeling a little weak.

rest day...entertained myself with a pull up bar and a stretching band for 30 minutes though, did a pull up everytime I died playing Natural Selection

I'm awful so it turned into a decent workout

Yesterday I did back/bicep circuit

4x10 wide grip pull ups
4x10 one-handed seated machine rows (core muscles are sore as shit from that one)
4x12 close handed pull downs
mixed in with:
3x12 close grip EZ bar curls
3x12 one handed dumbell preacher curls
3x12 standing hammer curls

Was planning on doing leg/core circuit, but my core was still sore as hell from yesterday

3x12 lunges - then my knee started acting up
4x12 machine leg press
4x12 other machine leg press and 4x12 leg extension supersets
4x12 machine calf raises

4x12 incline bench
4x12 machine chest press
4x12 dumbell flies
4x12 cable crossovers

Oddly enough, that was the first time that I've ever done cable crossovers. My old gym didn't have the equipment and the Y is usually packed when I'm there. I was there late tonight and the place was pretty empty so I hopped on. I really need to read up on form as it felt like an easy way to fuck up a shoulder or two.

God damn Im getting old.

First a pulled back on 11/27 which hasn't healed yet then on Thurs. pulled my hamstring that I felt al the way down to my calf. Friday it started spasm and hasn't stopped ever since. I'm on 350 Soma 3 times a day and it's not working.
