Mueller was appointed because of the Lester Holt interview.

Soon after he was appointed, it was released that he was looking at the interview and obstruction charges.

Lawyers with experience say to prove obstruction, they would have to prove the intent was to affect the investigation. Obviously Mueller and the grand jury will have the final ruling on if this was obstruction, but I don't see how this statement doesn't throw further fuel on the fire that Trump's purpose of the obstruction he's allegedly being investigated for was to "fight back" against the spectre of the Russian Investigation that Comey was then in charge of?
