He may by throwing in the towel on First degree. Every time I've heard Cummings on his crosses since they got the witnesses who saw Nancy out jogging, and this closing argument indicates to me that he doesn't think they're going to get a conviction.

5/3/2011 3:37:32 PM

5/3/2011 3:38:19 PM
how are they not to form opinions? isn't that what they are going to do in deliberation? they have to have their opinions of the ten weeks of testimony and the rest of the dog and pony show that has gone on until this point to be able to decide the case.they just can't voice them with anyone[Edited on May 3, 2011 at 3:40 PM. Reason : .]
5/3/2011 3:39:08 PM
Oh geez
5/3/2011 3:39:54 PM

Cummings need to rent Matlock on DVD. maybe pick up some pointers.or maybe some old school Law and Order with jack mccoy. [Edited on May 3, 2011 at 3:44 PM. Reason : s]
5/3/2011 3:42:50 PM
i wonder if the real killer(s) is(are) watching this
5/3/2011 3:43:54 PM
so whats next... bring them in, and then send them to the jury room?[Edited on May 3, 2011 at 3:44 PM. Reason : ^likely]
5/3/2011 3:44:01 PM
i just think it is ridiculous that the state asks the jurors not to form an opinion.maybe they should rephrase and ask they they keep their opinions to themselves until deliberation[/semantics]
5/3/2011 3:44:05 PM
^^^ maybe the real killer work their way onto the Jury and slowly turns everyone against BC in deliberation. This should be on the extra feature of the DVD when they make this into a movie. it could be the alt ending.[Edited on May 3, 2011 at 3:47 PM. Reason : alt ending.]
5/3/2011 3:45:49 PM
5/3/2011 3:46:13 PM
The real killer testified in the trial, I bet.
5/3/2011 3:47:05 PM
It basically asking them not to make their mind up until they hear everything everyone has to say. It's not opinions like "I like mayo." or "june is the best month'.It's an opinion as in 'decision'.
5/3/2011 3:47:12 PM
I wish I could see their faces after they went into the jury room...
5/3/2011 3:48:42 PM
5/3/2011 3:48:47 PM
replacing a juror!
5/3/2011 3:49:36 PM
oh snap a Jury member being replaced!!!
5/3/2011 3:49:58 PM
shit, did a juror die
5/3/2011 3:50:03 PM
Yeah, what up with the juror?
5/3/2011 3:50:14 PM
they realized the juror was the real killer.[Edited on May 3, 2011 at 3:51 PM. Reason : conflict of interest]
5/3/2011 3:51:07 PM
they are dismissing one for some reason. i think it was done off camera.
5/3/2011 3:51:37 PM
juror fell asleep and missed all of the ADA's closing
5/3/2011 3:51:49 PM
one probably informed an opinion too early.
5/3/2011 3:52:14 PM
ok, calling in to this phone interview... please post anything that happens!
5/3/2011 3:53:08 PM
one juror was probably like "THIS IS BULLSHIT, NOT GUILTY"
5/3/2011 3:54:03 PM
LOLOLOL
5/3/2011 3:54:30 PM
who does the dismissing ?
i couldn't figure out what the prosecution was trying to argue there with the release of the juror
5/3/2011 3:55:29 PM
reason and common sense.not guilty.
5/3/2011 3:55:54 PM
they need a text alert for the public following this case when the jury finishes deliberation.
5/3/2011 3:56:51 PM
i'm not gonna lie, i'd probably enjoy being on a jury in a high profile case like this.
5/3/2011 3:57:11 PM
not if it was a mob boss. YOU MIGHT BE TAKEN OUT.
5/3/2011 3:59:10 PM
30 minutes of deliberation -> not guilty
5/3/2011 3:59:44 PM
What channle is this on
5/3/2011 3:59:54 PM
^^^well, yeah. but that goes without saying.also, you might get a sweet payoff. two sides of the coin.[Edited on May 3, 2011 at 4:00 PM. Reason : .]
5/3/2011 4:00:01 PM
whoa what happened with the juror? I missed that
5/3/2011 4:01:04 PM
i want to be john cusack
5/3/2011 4:02:52 PM
JURY FORMDID HE DO IT!?YES_______NO________Check One and Return
5/3/2011 4:04:46 PM
if they don't decide today, does that mean i have to watch a boring feed tomorrow all day long until a wild verdict appears?
5/3/2011 4:06:08 PM
Wow. Can't imagine sitting through all that (as a juror) and getting dismissed right at the end. With the way this case has gone they probably dismissed them because it was clear they though BC wasn't guilty.
5/3/2011 4:06:17 PM
this is why tww needs to be on the scene! We could have interviewed him/her!
5/3/2011 4:08:09 PM
^Jurors are forbidden to talk until case is completely done. Even alternates.
