Y'all just need to

Now I need to figure out a good way to mention in an interview that I can't have kids and won't bring this drama to their workplace.
2/26/2014 12:33:56 PM
Wonder what would happen if a guy went into the break room, pulled out his junk and started pumping it.

Your link is riddled with notations on sanitary, hygienic and cleanliness standards. On its face a restroom is disqualified. Are you really going to argue that floating poop particles in the air are fine to contaminate breastmilk?

A friend of mine is a plant manager at a large manufacturer. On Friday evening, someone used an office bathroom, flushed the urinal, and was the last to leave the plant. The urinal somehow got clogged and never stopped flushing. It flooded the entire floor of the plant over the weekend, the building is just under 100 yards in length. Estimating somewhere around $40k in damage. My friend is currently annoyed.

@puck_it: Rarely do I laugh out loud when reading shit online, but the "suck their tits dry" comment had me cleaning my screen. Classic. If I didn't have a wife who nursed both of our kids, I'd think it was ridiculous for women to pump at work. But I know better now. If you don't pump on a regular basis, you can get mastitis; which is a real mother fucker. My wife got twice and she had 102 temp, sick as shit.==On another note, I used to get bombed and take her breast pump into the bathroom like I was going to milk myself. She wasn't amused.

^^^^Restrooms are obviously disqualified but not because they're unsanitary. In fact, they imply that restrooms are sanitary. And everybody knows about the particles in the air. That was fascinating in elementary school, but then nobody got sick, and hundreds of thousands of mothers pumped in restrooms without a sanitation/hygiene problem. But, whatever, please keep accusing women of being unsanitary and endangering their children. It's not dishonest at all.^Nobody really cares about your lunch, dude.[Edited on February 26, 2014 at 1:17 PM. Reason : LOL]

"She is giving the company HER time."FALSE! She is getting paid for her time, and she is spending it locked in the break room instead of working. I would have no problem with this if she posted a schedule, but I'd be pretty pissed if I wanted my lunch and it was locked up without notice for an indeterminate amount of time regularly. Hopefully the guy that works at this place can find a diabetic or hypoglycemic coworker to convince HR to make her set and keep a schedule.
2/26/2014 1:23:27 PM
Employer is not obligated to pay for time spent nursing.
2/26/2014 1:24:25 PM
Then why doesn't she have a set schedule to track this time and not annoy everyone?
2/26/2014 1:27:24 PM
i fucking hate paying for people to take a shit, that is company time and NOT personal time!!!
2/26/2014 1:28:23 PM
When I have to take a shit, I try to wait till I get to work, so I can get paid for that shit.
2/26/2014 1:33:46 PM
2/26/2014 1:35:01 PM
^that seems legit
2/26/2014 1:36:51 PM
How does it work in a right to work state? Should someone get bitchy about these things couldnt they just terminate her?

2/26/2014 3:20:11 PM
how again did the working woman do this before we had all the newfangled titty sucking devices? Is there historical data we can reference?
2/26/2014 3:29:50 PM
formula and wet nurses

Women didn't use to work. Then when they came into the workforce, they stopped breastfeeding.

So again today right at 5:00, the break room was locked up where my dinner was (leftovers from lunch). As soon as Mrs. Neika finished approx 5:10 leaving to go home, myself and 3 other engineers were filed in to finally grab our stuff so we could go home.......Why could she not fucking wait to drive home and give her baby the goodness in person
2/27/2014 9:26:53 PM
I'm assuming your break room has tables? She seems to be pretty predictable. I would get in there and camp out five minute before she comes in.
2/27/2014 9:38:00 PM
Yeah I was on board when it was about lunch. Now I'm just jealous that you get to leave at 5
2/27/2014 9:49:24 PM
TEN WHOLE MINUTES?!?!?!?!?!?!WHAT A BITCHgrow up, man[Edited on February 27, 2014 at 9:54 PM. Reason : grab your shit at 4:50 or use an ice pack if it's that big of a deal]
2/27/2014 9:53:40 PM
oh wait...debate has moved on to 5:00...I'm totally against this womandon't be monopolizing public rooms at peak hours for your own private purposes... especially not on a regular basiseven if your private purpose is to milk your breastsI mean, I got no problem with her using the break room to drain her titties...but she should be considerate enough not to do it at lunch...that's just baldly, almost deliberately inconsiderate/m2c[Edited on February 27, 2014 at 10:29 PM. 2/27/2014 10:01:20 PM
Really, what is HUR problem?
2/27/2014 10:23:58 PM
the office should be considerate to her breastfeeding needs... it's not an easy task for all mothers.that being said, she should make efforts to not inconvenience the entire staff.
2/27/2014 11:18:41 PM
^ I'll agree with this. It almost sounds as if she is deliberately trying to inconvenience people
2/28/2014 12:17:01 AM
Why don't they just go to the break room 5 minutes before her
2/28/2014 6:32:05 AM
Workplace annoyance: when someone takes the break room door off its hinges so I can't lock myself inside.
2/28/2014 7:33:04 AM
Right now...workplace annoyance is opening this thread and seeing a 2 page discourse on breastfeeding.

3/4/2014 8:22:38 AM
manager sent out mass text message asking for everyone to let her know what their plans are today as far as coming in. People are texting back saying they're in the office... Okay... so how were the roads? The rest of us could some some information here
3/4/2014 8:39:54 AM
My direct manager always cuts me off and doesn't let me finish when I'm talking about something or explaining something. He just says "I don't need an explanation. I already did it." or "I don't care.....blah blah blah.". That and/or he'll just walk away as I'm talking to him. IT'S RIDICULOUS.
