people that only debate by name calling typically have a lesser intelligence. I can understand if this type of rationale is difficult for you to follow; hence the name calling.
12/22/2011 3:02:59 PM
i would genuinely wish to challenge you on that pointsometimes its better to call a spade a spade and move on

well, boobs, pretty much everything I have ready about leach is that he was a high target for lots of major openings. so why would an AD, whos job it is to hire big time coaches, have a different opinion of some message board user with a gambling problem? mainly because its what they do and they have an understanding of "big time" that you don't. lets take a look at this snippet from sporting news: (A+) Mike Leach, Washington State. There’s little doubt Leach can coach and run a program; look at his track record. The reason this is the best hire: It’s the best fit. Mike Price took Wazzu to two Rose Bowls; Leach can find his way to at least one.Read more: http://aol.sportingnews.com/ncaa-football/story/2011-12-22/grading-college-coaching-hires-mike-leach-gus-malzahn-todd-graham#ixzz1hIWVZ9OWsporting news said this was the best hire of all coaching searches. so, sports writers, athletic directors and his peers all consider him a big time coach yet you dont, tww user.
12/22/2011 3:39:32 PM
1. lol @ the gambling problem...not sure how you came pulled that out of thin air2. His record was good at TT, my response was based on that he is taking over a shit program and the previous bad press and that he's never won anything of significance. Of course for a program like WSU he's an A+. the fact that they can get a half decent coach with any decent experience is a win for them.My comment was that he wasnt "Big-time" and my first comment was that we lost pettway to a crappy program like WSU.I guess my mistake was thinking that TOB should be more respected esp by defensive players vs a coach that completely ignores one half of his team

Charlie Hegedus made the AJC's class AAAAA all-state team in Georgia, and Niles Clark got honorable mention at DB. http://blogs.ajc.com/georgia-high-school-sports/2011/12/23/aaaaa-all-state-waltons-jones-mceacherns-english-are-players-of-year/?cxntfid=blogs_georgia_high_school_sports

Mike Leach currently has a huge lawsuit filed against ESPN. That's why Debbie Yow, or any other AD with common sense, wouldn't touch the guy.Fair or not, you risk getting blackballed by the hand that feeds if you do business with him. Just ask Bruce Feldman.[Edited on December 25, 2011 at 1:40 PM. Reason : gl recruiting well enough to unseat Oregon in that div anytime in the near future too]

Bryce Kennedy commits!
12/27/2011 2:50:55 PM
So he decommited from the Holes and committed to us? I'm not finding it yet. He supposedly took his OV to Carolina on 12/2, a few months after verbaling to them.
12/27/2011 2:59:15 PM
I saw it on packpride, but he also posted it on twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/bigBK75/status/151751095511826432and yes, dropped the holes to run with the pack

There are rumors that Bernard will transfer to Wisconsin or one of the Florida schools.
12/28/2011 2:28:51 PM
Yeah, sorry, I had read some stuff that made it sound like his transfer was almost a done deal, but that doesn't seem to be the case now.

Kenderius Whitehead has a final 3 of Clemson, UGA and State...he will announce on signing day.
12/29/2011 3:17:27 PM
what's his background? Never heard of him
12/29/2011 3:42:14 PM
He's a highly recruited DE from Georgia, and a teammate of State commit Jarnor Jones:http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Kenderius-Whitehead-115322
12/29/2011 3:45:22 PM
he's only visited State out of those three, too.
12/29/2011 4:52:21 PM
Why does State do so poorly at in state recruiting? This sucks. People from Raleigh going to Georgia? Bullshit. Anyone know where we stand with Nick Dawson?
12/30/2011 10:31:17 AM
Why do all NC teams do poorly at in state recruiting? Because it's the ACC? Because some kids want to leave their home state for college? Why does State recruit Georgia so well?
12/30/2011 10:35:16 AM
This sucks. LSU always gets Louisiana recruits so I'm not used to this disappointment.

Somehow, Amato was able to get better talent in spite of all this^

So Amato didnt have to work to keep PR's commitment[Edited on January 2, 2012 at 4:39 PM. Reason : C]
1/2/2012 4:38:15 PM
maybe, hard to say. would you say gottfried had to put a lot of work in to keep tyler lewis committed. I would say no.
1/2/2012 4:40:44 PM
You can criticize Amato for a ton of things... playcalling, clock management, staffing choices, player development, discipline, media relations...but recruiting isn't really one of them. The man was a solid B+/A- recruiter.
1/2/2012 4:44:35 PM
I think lewis always wanted to go to ncsu amirite? Im sure ncsu wasnt PRs dream school
