^They've had enough issues with strangers to know you need to find out some information about them. The guy was well-maintained and fairly clean, so it's likely that he had a group and was setup somewhere. Also Rick was explaining that Michonne and Deanna were right and that they needed not only rebuild Alexandria but to expand it, and that takes people to help.

Though I agree, the driving around a field chasing the guy was a bit much.

Back then Shane and Lori were getting it in. Rick's body wasn't even cold yet. They wanted to fuck. It's that simple. You don't need a Disney story about true love and shit. They're adults that deals with fatality and stress daily.

They need reasons to live other than just breathing. The show cant have constant horrible crap happen to them without some sort of reprieve. Its also a good time to build characters.

Exactly. They still retain civility at times. They could all go around fucking each and everybody, but sometimes they act like things will return to normal. Daryl and Carol shared some sexual tension before but nothing ever became of it.

People in theater, acting and radio go to grain pains to lose their regional accents, whether it be southern, northern, or whatever. I've heard a couple of radio people talking about it. And there are some southern actors out there who jump at the chance to use their accents when they can. Look at Sweet Home Alabama.

This is episode was done on the cheap. Compared to the better ones at least. The set pieces were all small. No dynamic shots.

Better to save money on an episode so they can have the epic ones that began the season and this half season.

Distracting but good enough to move the story along.

I'm just glad they got to it instead of spending the whole episode planning and waiting until next week before anything happens. Was a pretty intense episode, that part when Glen and that red shirt cleared out the hallway was nuts. I was thinking one of them would at least get shot.

Was surprised that Rick and Co. didn't start loading up the trucks as quickly as possible. They seemed to just be fine, taking their time, letting a few people leave and take the biggest vehicle they had.

I'd have started emptying the armory that Glenn and Heath found quickly. Perhaps they really think they wiped everyone out so time isn't a huge factor, but even then, with those gun shots and that siren, no way they didn't attract a ton of zombies.

They did barely know them, yes, but that was the same group that almost killed Sasha, Abraham, and Darryl for no reason. That and Rick & co. saw what they were doing to the other settlement, and it was only a matter of time until they started messing with Alexandria.

btw, Morgan's "Kill nobody" routine is getting old. The world has changed and is full of more people that would kill first and ask questions later than others.

Her portrayal of the southern accent is the only one that really bothers me from the show.
She shouldn't have been with the crew for the attack. She was asking for pre-natal vitamins in the previous episode. But...we wouldn't have much adversity in that episode if her and Carol didn't get caught.
